    ** stopped working after 9 months of being a paid customer of service plus. ************ said it would not repair it because it was pre-existing before I signed up with them 9 months prior. They are a rip off.

    Horrible experience with the staff they said I was in a contract. I never agreed to a contract. Said I could not cancel policy. Then said oh yes we can but we will have to take out the remaining premium out of the claim we are paying you. Then talked to a supervisor that said even he could not cancel policy until my policy terms that was in 2 months. When I asked for a supervisor they said they dont have one. They dont pay claims till after 8 weeks after u file. They severely depreciate the value of ur item so they pay little as possible on ur claim.

    I would rate this company with less than 1 star if that were an option.Broken Whirlpool Washing Machine. Too costly to repair per ServicePlus repair contractor (after 2 service calls).The "Pro-Rated" replacement cost for a 2 year old $875.00 unit is a whopping $200.00.After protest and negotiation, $350 was offered. Check was to be sent out is 6 to 8 ******** of this review it has been 17+ weeks.Each phone call I was assured payment was being processed but unfortunately no supervisor was available to answer any ************** backs were promised and never received, nor were update emails.I view this company as a typical insurance scam. Eager to take your money, but unwilling to actually cover any real cost of repair or ************** my opinion nothing more than a scam and money grab on ServicePlus' part.Buyer beware, you are being sold false hope and nothing more as ServicePlus offers no actual Service at all.

    I'm single and 57 They called. Sounded good. Paid in full. Now I need a plumber and the warranty company phone is no good!! DO NOT BUY !!!

    I leave 1 star, ONLY because you have to put at least one in there. Terrible company, swindling people out of their money with a very shady contract. Nothing I was told by the sales person was true. I was told that I could get my old HVAC system replaced which was not possible when the most you would pay out is $1500. The contract, in the fine print states that they will pay for your AC unit if it needs to be repaired or replaced. Then states that it will not cover, most of the major products that cause an A/C unit to not work. It also states that if you want to file against them that you forfeit any choice as to where it will be located. In ** is the only option, arbitration on their terms is the only option and it will be decided by their lawyers. This contract is an abomination, and disgusting that a company would do this to anyone. This is done like a scam, they know people are desperate and trying to avoid the heavy fees of home sustainability and safety. THIS COMPANY IS GOING TO PAY MAX $1500 on the job and $1500 with the most amazing lawyer, but you will have to pay their lawyer fees. PLEASE DON'T GET YOUR MONEY STOLEN AND STILL HAVE TO PAY TO DO THE ****

    Paid them to help, No help. Just paid 100% of 12,000 bill to get my ac replaced. They do not pay anything. Total rip off. Stay away from these swindlers.

    Ive been a Service plus consumer over a year..the past year I have had issues with my refrigerator, which they have come out several times and collected the deductible and fix for a month or so and same thing happens again..Finally decided they couldnt fix it and offered 300$ as a payoff for a 3500 refrigerator.this was in May and I yet to receive to check todayThe washer, same problem and they couldnt find the parts to fix it and offered a pay out of 250$ for a washer I paid over a 1000$ for, this was in April and Im yet to receive that check alsoBe careful with a contract with Service plus, they dont tell you all the coverage, for example, I had the platinum plan and they would not fix the ice maker on the refrigerator because that was an additional coveragehow was I to know that if you didnt tell me when you were selling me the policy..I could go on and on about my experiences with Service plus, like rate increases and deductible increases.I cancelled them todayBUYER BE AWARE

    Purchased in 2023 tried calling them out for several items refrigerator toilet plumbing that topped the cake plumbing valve broke on Saturday so because it didnt happen Monday through Friday thats why they would not cover it now waiting on something else always denying claims for some reason told them I wanted to cancel said I renewed my contract in April never received email said I wanted confirmation they sent it to me they advised me they could not prove they sent then I told them I had no contact then she hung up I dont know what to do there charging me monthly for a service there not providing nor did I renew because they never sent me please advise thank you

    DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE! Business does not represent what it pitched to obtain me as a customer. The ********************** as yet to fill any claim (5 total). one of which might indeed not be covered, but the other 4 are covered items but Service Plus does not have repairmen in the area in order to correct the issue. These are basic plumbing or electrical issues yet in my area (*************) the company has repeated apologized they can not meet my needs but then offers a reimbursement if I find my own repairman. The trouble is most repairmen will not put up with chasing down reimbursements nor trying to get a part covered when they do not represent Serve Plus.The one time I did have the garbage disposal fixed, own my own, through a legitimate company and not a do it yourself ********** disposer, for approx. $350 expecting at least a $200 reimbursement, it was denied because I did not get prior approval and use the correct form, even though I had waited approx. 5 days for service plus to even reach out to me!Prior experience with other home warranty companies has been contacted within 24 hrs. - usually same day. Claims - Garbage disposal 7/5/23 - hired my own repairman but was not reimbursed over formalities Water Softener both on 12/4/23 and again 7/2/24 - neither resolved because no serviceman available Fridge, leaking water dispenser, 12/14/2023 - denied because it wasn't covered Ceiling Fan - 8/13/24 - not resolved because no repairmen in area.I pay approx. $60 but have had no adequate service yet and I'm unable to get out of my contract. I do not recommend this company to anyone living in ****. I just want out of my annual contract - which when asked, was told by one representative I could but then denied by another employee.

    On 6/22/2024, I called Service Plus Home Warranty company to report a plumbing problem. They sent a plumbing company to see what needed to be done. That was the only good thing that happened. After that they constantly gave me the run around. They first said they could not get access. Not only did they have access, I have a picture of the plumbers standing in my living room. They cut a hole in the ceiling to see where the pipe was leaking. I could not get them to come back to fix the pipe. I had to hire a plumber to complete the job. BEWARE, BEWARE, BEWARE. At this point I only want my $1,200.00 that they have charged me. so disappointed in ******* who sold me this plan. And, he said he goes to bible study. Don't know what he's learning to be working for a company of scammers.
