      Zero stars. (have to give at least a one) with them 20 years and they make it so hard to leave they violate the ***. not worth ever starting with them.

      I've had Verizon for over 20 years. I'm about to give up on them... all I get is Spam calls every day at least 6 to 10 A day.... ************ really went downhill if this problem doesn't get resolved by the end of the week, I will be changing providers.

      Verizon charges outrageous amounts for FIOS/Internet. $200 a month is extreme especially for seniors and probably for young people.

      I was a customer for 27 years. I was fed up with my bill constantly increasing for the same service. When I switched to another carrier I was required to pay the monthly bill in advance in order to get a transfer number. I understand. Then I received another bill for $10. After visiting a Verizon store, they explained that it should have been a credit, not a charge. However the service representative could not get through to the service center. I called Verizon myself and was on hold for 12 minutes before I was helped. The charge was an error. (Autopay NonCompliant Charge) I NEVER had ********** was corrected. Then a very nice representative explained that I should have switched to a newer plan. My daughter is 35yrs old now. Her first phone was from Verizon when she was in the eight grade. After 27 years I have been to a Verizon store many times. I have purchased several phones through them. Nobody said "lets get you a better deal" A customer should not have to play the PLAN GAME to get a fair price on their phone service. I have no complaints about Verizons the cell phone coverage. I have no complaints about ********* service either, and it is 1/3 the cost.

      Our phone prices skyrocketed without reason or warning and they are saying we have a past due balance when I have the bank statement showing we paid over $300. So our phones are currently disconnected and we tried to get ahold of someone to get this sorted out but it is IMPOSSIBLE to talk to a real person. This has been the absolute worst experience from the very beginning. This company is a joke.

      I had the Verizon service for three years with my business a month ago. I switched services because of price and Verizon couldnt match it this morning. I was appalled to open my bank account and see a charge of $174.54 automatically taken from my checking.What kind of company takes money out of a customers bank account without first notifying them and giving them an itemized statement?The Verizon customer service is horrible and they never make good on their promises

      I needed to get internet for a second home. I was slammed by a non Verizon owned location with a special router that he said would be no charge. After terrible slow speeds I tried to cancel and return the router. They would not accept it and told me to go to a company store. The company store would not accept it but gave me the number of someone who could help. After being on hold for over an hour I finally got to talk to someone. The suspended the line and said that they would send a box for the return. I never received it. I called them again and they had the wrong address. They would send it to the correct address. They sent a package that a phone would fit into and not the router. I called them again and they decided to send a return label to use at ***. I dropped it off and thought that I was done. It has been four months since I replaced their product and they are still billing me. They would only stop billing me if I paid $280 extra for the returned router (they said it would be free). Terrible company - scammers - Not customer friendly. Not cheap either.

      If I could leave a less than one star review I would. I was a Verizon Wireless customer for 13+ years with 7 lines on my account and my bill was steadily rising instead of falling. Every year my bill would increase a bit every year. When I left Verizon my bill was over $400. To top it off they are not helpful at all, I was transferring service and they didn't want to unlock one of my phones because of some stupid 60 day waiting period after purchase even though I paid for the phone in it's entirety! How do you expect me to pay $1500 for a phone and then lock it? Ridiculous!

      One of the worst, if not the worst, phone companies. I ported my number to have it available for when we travel overseas because we were having issues. They immediately deactivated my account and wouldn't let me do anything with it. There are two other lines on the plan yet the *** I spoke too wanted me to purchase a whole new line with a whole new plan instead of just putting me back on the existing plan we already have. They even tried to feed me a bunch of BS about it being a great international plan with unlimited data, text, and talk for only $65 a month. It's hilarious because my wife just spoke to a *** about cancelling our plan or changing it and after she checked with them to see if they had a long term international plan and the *** told her they didn't have one. I told the *** about that conversation and all of a sudden it was like "oh yeah it would cost you $100/month per line for the international charges." This isn't even the most annoying part as they wanted me to call to get my line fixed and I was waiting for a *** to pick up the phone for an hour and half with no answer. I was able to have this extremely annoying conversation with the online chat person and go grocery shopping all while waiting for "the next available ***resentative," who apparently never became available. I just said F it. Leave my account deactivated.

      I live in ******. I signed up for the Prepaid plan for $45/month as my colleague is on that plan and recommended it for use in ******; he has not had any problems. I purchased a new phone from Verizon online, with the prepaid plan. When I got it all was working fine: for about a week. Then I lost my data (but phone and text was fine). I was on chats with Verizon continuously and no one could solve the problem. I went back to the ***** to a Verizon store, where the agent ASSURED me that if I changed my plan to a postpaid it would work in ******. Got back to ******, my plan was pending and after talking with another agent she told me a postpaid plan would not work for data in ******. I tried to have my phone unlocked to go with a different carrier, and I was told by some agents it should already be unlocked, and told by others I had to wait the 60--day waiting period. I waited the 60-day waiting period but it was not unlocked and was told that, because I wanted to change my plan (to see if I could get data in ******) the clock to unlock my phone was restarted and I had to wait another 60 days. Tired of not having data in ****** (when the prepaid plan said I would), tired of contacting chat agents who don't seem to know what they are doing, and tired of dealing with Verizon!
