  Excellent install. Had a few bumps in the road getting to the install stage. But nothing that could not be overcome. Great team on the install. Worked hard and asked questions when information was needed. They assumed nothing and it was obvious they were well seasoned professionals.

  So....Mr Carports in Mt Airy, NC. Ordered 30×60 bldg. 30x30 living area and 30×30 storage. Gave drawing of floor plan to salesman and ordered $4000 site specific plans. Plans took 5 weeks and were done wrong. They left off front porch. Did foundation design wrong. Snow load wrong. They changed dimensions without asking me after pad with plumbing embedded was done. Crew put wall right thru plumbing. Actually notched out metal beam to fit around sink plumbing. I was right next door and they could have called me. After numerous mistakes and hostile responses, trying to blame me, i was told crew was done and they wanted check. I said after inspection I would pay balance. They insisted I pay. I agreed to pay partial. When worker showed up to collect, he was in bldg adding more screws so I guess he hadn't finished as promised. If I had paid him day before he never would have. I pd 30,000 and withheld last $5000 til bldg inspector ok'd bldg on Monday. I was told by their Mexican worker if I didn't pay they'd come take blag down. Ihad put S3000 deposit on spray insulation. I told them to apply that to balance due on bldg, I'd pay the balance, cancel insulation and we'd be done. Not having someone threatening me back on property. They refused offer. Reported them to Virginia sheriffs office for threat and filing complaint with attorney general and bbb. Why can't companies just do what they were hired and paid to do. I will not be threatened. Security cameras up, no trespassing signs

  Absolutely do not buy anything from Custom Built Structures!! They are a scam and do not deliver in the contract. We purchased an 18x21 shed with a garage door opening. Not only did they put up a shed with the wrong door opening they kept “rescheduling” the repair. The schedulers lied and after canceling several times and they said at first no one was home. When I called them out in that they said the crew was lost and tried to call - there were no missed calls. I can’t stress enough how bad this company is to deal with. They also made us pay $150 fuel charge and $147 for materials before they would come back for the repair. It was paid on a credit card. When called back about where the crew was, the scheduler said that we needed to pay $297 check to the crew. Who got my money from the charge card.. totally unprofessional company from the scheduler to the manager

  Dear Ms. *****, I hope this letter finds you well. We appreciate your feedback and sincerely apologize for any inconvenience you have experienced regarding the installation of your 18x21 shed. We take your concerns seriously and would like to address them thoroughly. Upon reviewing your contract and the details of the installation, we understand there was a discrepancy in the desired size of the garage door opening. Your contract specified a 7-foot wide x 8-foot tall opening, and we installed the shed accordingly. We sincerely regret any confusion with your order however that's what was ordered. We genuinely strive to meet our customers' expectations, and we are sorry for any frustration this may have caused which is why we offered to return to adjust your structure accordingly. Without margin for profit, we charged you a $150 return-trip fee to cover our crew's transportation expenses along with materials needed to professionally get your opening to be 8-foot wide x 7-foot tall as requested. We also understand your disappointment with the upfront payment for the repair. We ask for this fee to cover the costs of materials and travel expenses for our subcontractors. We sincerely regret any dissatisfaction this may have caused and acknowledge your frustration with the situation. Regarding the rescheduling and communication issues, we deeply regret the inconvenience caused by the delay and subsequent difficulty in reaching our subcontractor. The miscommunication was indeed an unfortunate event, and we understand your frustration. We made every effort to rectify the situation by rescheduling the appointment for Friday, Oct 6th. As you are well aware, your address offers little to no signal and therefore our subcontractor was unable to reach you Friday evening to get assistance in locating your job site. The following Monday we were informed of this situation and when we spoke to you on Monday, October 9, 2023, you stated that you no longer wanted our subcontractors to return to do your work order. In light of the challenges you've faced, we are willing to issue a full refund for the payment you made for the work order to make your opening 7 feet tall. The transportation expenses involved with the attempted work order on Friday we will absorb. We attempted to return your call to go over this option but you did not answer our call. Once again, we apologize for the inconvenience and frustration you have experienced. We value your business and your feedback, and we are committed to improving our processes to prevent similar issues in the future. If you have any further questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us. We appreciate your understanding and the opportunity to address this matter.   Roof leaking, installed completely wrong way. Trim never got finished and horrible cuts. Built in 6 hours and it shows. Ordered 9 foot legs got 8 foot legs. Ordered garage built it like a car port. Still got told 4 weeks till garage door arrives. Needs complete rebuild. Got told 3 to 4 weeks out till installation. Took 8 weeks for horrible installation.
