      just now NEW I went to the take 5 oil on ***************** in ********* NCfor the first time and paid 110.$ for my oil change which was fine with me. As I was waiting I noticed the crew members were arguing amongst themselves. I got the oil change or so I thought paid and left after waiting 45 minutes in line. As I pulled off my oil light came on. I thought well maybe it will take a minute for the oil to register. As I pulled on my street I noticed my engine making a light ticking noise that its never done b4. I went inside ate dinner and realized I had missed 4 calls. I called the number back and it was the take 5 I had just left. They told me that they forgot to put the oil in my car and to drive back up there so they could do this. As I was waiting in line again I could hear the crew members still arguing about how the manager on duty that day was lazy and didnt like to work to the point she didnt realize she didnt put the oil back in my car till after I had left. I asked them upon leaving what kind on compensation they could do for me for the mishap and she wrote 15$ off next oil change due to didnt add oil to car. I normally take my car to the ***** dealership where I purchased it and only pay 70$ but didnt feel like doing it that specific day. Seeing as not putting oil in my car could have cause the engine to throw a rod or worse I dont feel like 15$ off 110$ barely covers it. The manager didnt act like it was a big deal and tried to blow it off like it didnt really matter. I definitely dont recommend taking your vehicle here or any take 5 as the following day I sent the Take 5 corporate office a email and never heard back from them either. This incident occurred on 10-9-23.

      Was let into the building and was told I would get a oil change, and then told they would not be able to remove the oil plug. However, my father in law was able to remove the plug. I believe it was the $20 coupon that they did not perform the oil change.

      I pulled up to the business and I showed them that I had my $20 off coupon and he was telling me that my engine was making a weird sound and he pulled out his phone and he put the phone up to my engine and he stated that he would not be able to do the oil change because of the risk, but my engine always sounds like that. So, if they are franchised owned I do not believe they get compensated for redeeming the coupon.

      Took my car for routine oil change to the *********** location in **********, *******. The next oil change I returned to my dealership to find out take 5 had stripped my oil drain pan. I attempted to work with headquarters for 2 months only to be told they do nit have the tools to work with an oil plug. Twice on the recipt from take 5 they stated they replace the oil plug. They denied any wrong doing. This damage cost $1,200 in repairs plus nearly a week without my car so a car rental as well. It appears this is a problem of Take 5 across the nation as I read reviews and causing customers thousand dollars in damage. It makes me sick. Horrible business and customer service

      Take 5 put my oil filter on too tight. Way above 18 torque. They admitted their mistake, the staff and the manager Corey all said this has been a problem with a lot of customers. Corey, the manager called express oil, which is a full service shop down the road, and told the manager Paul there Take 5 would pay for the damages. Went to Express Oil, they could not get the oil filter off. They will have to take off the housing. The estimate is $920.74. Made a copy of the estimate for Corey at Take 5 - who now will not call me back. This is their mistake, they admitted it, even called the full service shop down the road. Now will not respond to me as I need in writing they are the ones that are at fault and covering the damages. I have been trying to reach everyone from the actual location phone, to Corey the manager, to Take 5 corporate and no one is responding now. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

      I really wish I could not even give 1 star because that is too much. On Tuesday the 12th I went to Take 5 for an oil change. The gentleman that worked on my car stated that the drain plug that was in my car was entirely too big and that he was going to put the correct one for my car. He gave me the drain plug he took out, and proceeded. He came back to my vehicle and advised that he put the new one in, but it wouldn't tighten the way it needed to because of the previous one being so big. He then proceeded to tell me that my car would leak out some of the oil, but I would be fine, but I did need to go to who I previously went to. I went to the other shop and they advised the tech should have either put the same plug back in or shouldn't have touched it at all. They stated they would not touch it because they wouldn't be liable. I left there and went to pickup my daughter from school. We came home, and the next morning when I went out to take her to school, all of the oil had leaked out and I had to call a friend to take her to school. Fast forward to today, I have been calling Take 5 every single day. They have been promising me that a tow truck would be coming within an hour or 2 to pickup my vehicle so their mechanic can do an investigation. I have continuously called, no one has been calling me back to update me or anything. This has been the WORST service I have EVER dealt with in my life. I am still without my vehicle and my daughter hasn't stayed home in over a week because I can't get her to and from school. Before going to Take 5 I had a perfectly good running car. This has been such a huge inconvenience for my daughter and myself.

      Presented coupon - was not incorporated into bill, when I noticed and called later that evening they said yhere was nothing they could do - not even credit the card back. "****" remembered and apologized but kept my $25 dollars.

      Worst experience ever, as I was told a different price for the cabin filter and they would not honor the price they told me, very dishonest and misleading. Today I went to the location on 67 Ave and ************** ****** was there with another guy and 2 ladies working. I was told by the guy who changed my cabin filter that the price was $20 per they had the promotion on it, and the original price is $49.99, so I told him that I would change it. I was there waiting and serviced in over 2 hours time frame, ****** the person in charge said he would give me a discount of 25% off per the very long wait. I thanked him.When I am about to pay I was told the total was about $190 and I questioned why if the only difference this time on my service is the cabin filter which is only $20 more than the usual service. The guy went and came back and said he had fixed the correct price for everything. Then I was still charged the $161.58 which I noticed after he had me run my card and entering my PIN. I told him it was still incorrect and there was a lady that came and I explained to her I was quoted differently for the cabin filter and told her they were charging full price. I added all the amounts and told her ****** had said he as going to give me the 25% discount and my totals would be the $99.99 for the oil $1 fee $3.99 fee $26 for engine air filter which is a total of $130.98 plus the 25% off discount than it would be $98.24 and if they add the $20 for the cabin filter it would be about $120. They were committing fraud as they raised the price on the service to honor the 25% discount, and never did ****** come to assist me or to fix this situation. She then told me she would void the transaction and it would be back in my account in 2-3 days and they would charge me again the $137.42 and they put the dirty engine filter back on!!! The worst experience, its a total fraud when they charge more than they quoted you.

      My Techs were Duke and Keeyon at Store *****. They did an excellent job of keeping informed and seemed very knowledgable.. The one thing that was marked cleaned was windshield which was not done. They provided service for things I had to wait 1 to 1 1/2 weeks at Quick-Lane at a dealership I have used for 20+ years. Other customers received the same response.

      I called numerous Take 5 contact numbers and could not speak with a live representative. Apparently there are no human people to talk to. I had to do a chat which was worthless-did not even reply back to my question. I even sent an email with no response back. All I needed was their corporate contact #. Not a hard question. A complaint is being filed with the Better Business Bureau.
