      I would not trust anyone at the Gulfport store. They just want to make money and would lie to do so. I’m really disappointed in this store. I will pay my contract out but I will not be doing business with them again. Beware!

      We were wireless and fiber customers for 10 years, with no real issues. In Sept 2022, though, after moving out of Mississippi and having to sign on with another wireless carrier, I called C Spire to cancel our accounts and was told I did not have authorization to make changes to the account. My husband called to cancel and was told the same thing, even though the account is in his name. I called back a third time and received verbal confirmation that the account would be closed. Our final bill was auto-paid, and I thought everything was taken care of. There has been no activity on either wireless line in 3+ months, because we no longer have those phones and have changed our phone numbers altogether. However, we received a bill in December for $437, and I called to dispute the charge. After speaking to two customer service representatives, I was told to call their collections line. I called collections and was immediately transferred back to customer service. After speaking to a third customer service representative (now on the phone for over 30 minutes), I was told that the charges would stand because they have no record of my or my husband's request to cancel the account. I asked to speak to someone else who had the authority to cancel the charge and was directed to "*****." Her bottom line was that because the C Spire system did not show any record of our calls in September to cancel the account, that I was lying about it and had to pay regardless. When I countered that it's possible there was a glitch in their system because it makes no sense that we would keep wireless lines open for phones we no longer had, in a state we no longer live, with no personal or professional connections remaining, ***** insisted that their was no mistake in their system and that if I didn't pay the bill, it would go to collections and negatively affect the account holder's credit. This level of deceit and inflexibility is inexcusable, and I would not recommend C Spire to anyone ever.

      The incompetence, dishonesty, and negligence of CSpire in customer service and in resolving customer issues has reached an all time low. Verizon and others far surpass CSpire now in service and attention to customers and CSpire has become a option of the uniformed. They started as a good company many years ago and I’ve watched them through bad hiring and poor training reduce themselves to a business for customers who aren’t aware of how much better the other providers are. Do yourself a favor and research the other companies before choosing CSpire. As a 4th Generation native Mississippian I am truly saddened that a Mississippi company has fallen so far. This review is the result of CSpire having dropped the ball on many issues over many years regarding my service with them, finally trying to charge me for a phone they lost, that I never received, and then trying it to shift the responsibility for the cost onto me. Truly deplorable business practices regarding a military veteran and a loyal customer of many years. The loss of a loyal customer base I believe they will suffer they truly deserve.

      I been a customer for 15 years my husband goes in to get a upgrade after he has his phone for 5 years and they want him to pay $250 up front yall made us feel like we didn't matter I talk to 2 people on the phone nothing was done this happened in Greenville Mississippi I have never been so disappointed in this company in my life .*** ***** .p.s I know yall are not going to help do anything but this is not right

      ******** from the headquarters informed me there is no one above her in authority that I could speak to about the reason behind why she tried to sell me another phone instead of offering me the insurance that is $500 cheaper. After the IOS 16 update messed up my phone that I purchased in full 12 months ago. She began to antagonize the workers at the branch I use telling them what they are doing wrong instead of helping me with my issue. I highly doubt you are the manager of the headquarters and if so they need to Reevaluate you and your job title.

      Wish i could give 0 Stars! Husband went in Store trying to get both phones & #s ported to CSpire. 2.5hr nothing done except paying for the service upfront. Went into store next day, spent 3 hrs there, still had to call CSR for 2.5 hr to try to get phones to send texts. Had to call old carrier & spend 3 hrs on the phone. I was told to power cycle & my phone(not other) , i did, it said emergency calls only. Spent the next day on and off husbands phone bc sprint closed our act for no reason so our numbers couldnt be ported over bc it wasnt an active number! Called next day spent 4 hrs total calling CSRs over and over. Finally got 1 man that said ports werent done correctly and seemed to get it fixed accept calls and service in house and Richton. He got our phones working for a few days but said he couldnt get our numbers ported out bc they were out of state area codes. He said the name of my phone and told me calls would be better if i used wifi calling when on home wifi and they could send us a sigal booster if it continued to be an issue. Said they couldnt credit us for the 3 or 4 days it took us to just be able to use both phones bc its prepaid. I told them we got prepaid bc we didnt want to be stuck in a contract and this very thing happen! Called today bc i can only send MMS mess & husband cant get them or send MMS. Neither of us could locate wifi calling, had VM as an option,and still VERY poor service. Turns out his phone was never fully activated! They dont just give you VM unless u ask them to activate it! They dont just give you a signal booater for free and the cheapest one is almost $600! They don't have wifi calling on their network for Androids yet! Im not sure, whats wrong w/ either company CSpire or Sprint but i know they dont work, refuse to give credit if u dont get what u pay for, and everyone assumes, and states things that arent true or they maje it sound free and its not, and nobodys got a clue wtf theyre doing at any time,sad! Service is a JK!

      I own a local small business. I was sold on business services that was supposed to be simple and easy to transition. I swapped everything over to cspire and it has been a nightmare. My service is still not working and I’m paying for cspire as well as my current service. Be cautious and know that it is not an easy transition.

      I wish I would have read the reviews before switching. We had a problem with T-Mobile network issues, so we decided to switch a line to CSPIRE because they were local. Before going to the Promenade location I live chatted and checked to make sure our phone was compatible. They checked again in store. After coming home my husband noticed that he could not send texts. The next day we go in, it seems like the only way to resolve issue is to find a new carrier. The manager was on site and did not speak with us personally ( even though she was on the floor and knew we were having issues). That speaks volumes to me, we have wasted two days so far. We are suppose to hear back sometime next week to see if this can be resolved, if not I guess we will go to AT&T. I will also be switching our internet service as well.

      I have been a c spire customer since the 1990s when it was cellular south. Their service was good until about 5 years ago. Then it was so bad I couldn't make or receive phone calls or texts for hours and sometimes days. Their response to my complaints was that I live too far from the nearest tower (5 miles) or that they were doing upgrades to the system. Their uncaring response over the years has prompted me to go to another carrier. If you live in a rural area don't depend on cspire.
