      This is by far the worst management company that I have worked with. They do not follow through on their own contract. They lack skills and knowledge of how to do their jobs. Finding vendors to get bids, FORGET IT! It has been 2.5 months since the handyman around the complex has been paid. They do not respond to emails in a timely fashion or at all. I am disgusted with this company. I wish I could give zero stars.

      We're so sorry to hear your frustration, Allison. We understand your concerns and would like to clarify the situation. The Board only approved invoices this past week due to the recent election and the previous Board President's decision to hold off until the new leadership was in place. 

      This was not within our control. As an agent of the HOA Board, we are not responsible for making those decisions and can only act under their discretion. We also want to assure you that your emails have not gone unanswered, though we acknowledge that the responses may not have been what you hoped for on the timeline of payment.

      We have Ro-Cal as our property Management company just over a year or so. So far I have not been impressed at all. I had a leak in my roof I had to call and deal with the roofer myself even though they have the warranty. They just assessed us $2,000 for cement work the board approved yet I put a ticket in in May for a bag of rocks to fill in where the plastic was showing. First it was they needed board approval then it was they were getting bids, its now October I still have not gotten the rocks so in front of my place looks shabby. No responses when I asked again what was going on.

      We're sorry to hear your frustration, Connor and would like to add clarity. As you mentioned, the roof repair was done several years ago and is under warranty through the vendor that completed the repair. As a result, the HOA needed to work with that specific vendor again in order to not void the warranty or incur more costs. When a contractor needs to enter a residents home, it's necessary to coordinate with the homeowner directly in order to gain entry, which is what you experienced. 

      The HOA board has reviewed the need to add rocks to low areas in landscape beds, but unfortunately, they've had to postpone this work for more pressing projects. Due to limited funds, they are looking into group pricing to complete rock top dressing, with goals for completing that work in 2025. We understand wanting to have it completed as quickly as possible, but doing so would have the association incurring several different trip charges and increased costs as opposed to retrieving bids to top dress all of the low areas of rock at once.

      We will continue to work with the elected board of directors to keep projects moving along but funding can always create barriers and delays to the timeline for completion. It's important to remember that RowCal is simply an agent of the HOA, and can only act upon the decisions made by the elected board of directors.

      They won't follow HOA rules for visitor parking. Our visitor parking is full of vehicles that have been there for Months. Not moved once. One car is covered, and is clearly long term. Either they don't care, or they need to find better people to do the job. You pick. Avoid.

      We apologize for the delay in executing the requested action. New legislation has created bigger hoops that companies must jump through in order to now tow vehicles. These new requirements made it impossible for the tow company to remove the vehicles as swiftly as desired. Please rest assured we have been working with them to make sure all needed steps have been taken and so that they can begin removing the vehicles shortly.

      When I posted a complaint on FaceBook they deleted my comment. When I publicly called them out on deleting my comment, they blocked me. If you check them out on FB, you will notice that there are no negative comments. That speaks volumes! Needless to say, our condominium complex is not staying with this company.

As you may or may not know, the ********* chose to manage the repairs and insurance claim independently, rather than utilizing our services. We respect their decision and are required to act under their directives.

      While we would have been happy to assist and offer our expertise, our ability to intervene in this particular situation has been removed. We understand that many residents are frustrated and concerned about the ongoing repairs and the continued payment of monthly fees. However, as we are not directly involved in the repair process, we cannot expedite the timeline or provide assistance with getting residents back into their homes.       I think that Rowcal takes our money then closes all work orders without comment before fulfilling the work order. Why is Rowcal even incorporated or accredited? They do nothing but take our money. Work? What is that?

      My HOA, Citywalk Downtown Lofts Owners Association in Colorado Springs, CO, is now managed by RowCal and I believe their management to be unethical and non-conforming to legalities thus far. I received a notice of violation that was vague and without any evidence. After many tries, I finally had my concerns routed to someone who attempted to help, but I only received partial evidence of damage. The partial evidence clearly tells a different story than the vague notification letter stated. I have tried to get RowCal to revise the letter to reflect the reality of the partial evidence and have been ignored. The letter stated that 2 residents did minor damage, but the video evidence shows it was 1 guest that 'might' have caused the damage, but no evidence of actual damage has been provided thus far. The letter vaguely stated there was damage to the common area - there are 4 such areas in reality. The video clearly shows the specific area. The letter did not state what was specifically damaged. A repair receipt was provided eventually, but no evidence actually showing damage was provided. The letter stated the HOA paid for the repair, but provided no evidence of what was repaired now was an invoice provided to justify the repair cost. The letter requires me to provide proof of repair, but how can I do such a thing when the HOA already did the repair, as stated in the letter. I have requested repeatedly to have the notice letter align to the reality and specifics of the situation and continue to be ignored. It is clear that RowCal is all about form letters to get money from owners/residents and has no interest in taking the time to resolve matters in a fair and ethical (maybe even legal) way.
