This is a scam, and I'm surprised they are still allowed to conduct business. I personally did not fall for it, but I can see how many people might be fooled, despite the company's assertion that it is "clearly indicated" that W.C.S is not a government agency, nor does it contract with any government agency. First off, "clearly indicated" means that there is one line, in a slightly larger font than the previous line, that provides this information. It's not until you get to the very bottom, below the signature area, in a smaller font, that you see the disclaimer that your annual report can be filed directly with the state for no additional fee. Secondly, the "fee" they charge you for filing is ridiculous. In my case, the state annual report filing fee is $100. WCS charges $125 to "file" for you, on top of the state fee, so you end up shelling out $225.00 for what you should only be paying $100 for. $125 for 5 minutes (or less) of work. They claim to only be doing what your accountant or CPA would do, but that they "charge less," but most honest and legitimate CPA/accountants would tell you to file it yourself, to save money, because it is so fast and easy to do. There is no reason to hire an outside person to do this. Third, it doesn't come with a cover letter, explanation of services, or anything. You only get a very official looking form, already "conveniently" filled out for you (where they get their info, I don't know). All you have to do is sign the form, and enclose a check. How convenient. They claim to have "many satisfied customers" but I don't see any of them here, leaving good reviews. That's a pretty good indication there aren't any.Workplace Compliance Services

Very clever and deceptive company. They notify you to pay a fee to NY through their company. Don't do it. Ditto other remarks. You have to read carefully to find out that this company has nothing to do with the state fees. My fee is for $9.00. They want me to send $150.00! I suppose they would send the required fee to **. This company gets one gold star for creating a form that makes it look like a official California State form. My wife and business partner has been after me to finish filling out their form and send the $195 requested. Luckily I read the entire form and saw in large caps their 'discloser' stating they were only trying to look like a California State Agency but in-fact was using deception and fear to extract $195 for a service you can do yourself for $9.00.Review fromthomas s

Zero stars if I could. This company should be shut down. They send you a official looking Biennial Statement form that looks like its from NYS. Imploring you to send $150 to refile your LLC. ***SCAM***As everyone says below, this place is trying to scam people. I got a form from them that looks exactly like an LLC Biennial renewal form except with, as they said below, a small statement buried among other text saying that it's "not a governmental agency is not authorized by the government to perform this service." And yet, they're trying to charge $150 to perform the service they're not authorized to perform. (FYI, the Biennial filing fee is $9 if you do it yourself and takes less than 10 mins.)
