SCAM SCAM SCAM The "All Caps" is actually smaller than most lower case text on their mailer, and printed in a lighter shade of grey, not black. All designed to intentionally be easy to overlook. The form is intended to look like an official government form.I'm sure this is just barely skating along the edge of what is considered legal. Whatever. It is highly unethical and immoral. A quick google search will show you they are a predatory scam company but doesn’t hurt to keep giving them bad reviews so hopefully they will stop their scummy tactics. When I started my first business I believed this and almost sent the check for the OSHA manual before researching it. Now I have multiple businesses and every time I incorporate a new one they send new letters that go straight to the trash. They must just look at the corporate services section of every state site, I’m sure they are making good money with lots of new business owners or elderly ones or people just too busy to read it thoroughly. Bad practices… Filing the annual report only takes 5 minutes, don’t pay this trash “company” hundreds to do it for you. hat a bunch of scam artists. These people use Secretary of State business records to mail official looking "2025 ANNUAL REPORT INSTRUCTION FORM" for you to PAY them do your very simple annual report filing. There are deadlines in the document. For Connecticut, the fee is $225. Mind you, doing your own annual filing (about 5 minutes on-line) costs $80. I have never fallen for this come-on, and BUYER BEWARE ... DON'T pay these jerks. I am responsible for a couple of very small Limited Liability Companies (LLC) and have filed these returns every year myself. They DO say "price includes state filing fee and CFS processing charge" but don't show that the processing charge is MORE than the actual fee. They do indicate in fine print at the bottom of the form, "THE STATE OF CONNECTICUT REPORT CAN BE FILED DIRECTLY THROUGH THE STATE FOR THE STATUTORY FEE OF $80 PER YEAR PLUS ANY REINSTATEMENTS FEES, IF APPLICABLE." This business is trying to say they are not a scam, but their practices are SHAMEFUL! Their documents look very "governmental" and they make you feel like you have to pay their $195 fee. This is not a good business practice - shady, shady, shady. I feel bad for business owners who don't realize they don't need to pay this high fee to them. Shame on you CPS.
