  We are so glad we had our basement done by Custom Basements of New England. From the initial quote to the final punch list, the process was extremely timely and efficient. The team was so helpful, tidy, and worked long hours to keep our project going. Our project manager, ****, was so kind and patient and always explained exactly what was going on. Our small requests, like getting a different trim than is typically used, were always accommodated, which we really appreciated. We couldn't recommend Custom Basements more!

  We had a wonderful experience renovating our basement with **** and team. We knew before we started this project that we wanted someone who was a "basement expert" for our job. We could tell right away from our first consultation that **** was highly knowledgeable and met all our criteria. Leading up to the job, she was responsive and attentive and helped us to shape our vision of what we wanted for our space. During our construction period, the team was so easy to work with and made the experience seamless. **** and **** answered all of our many(!) questions and thoughtfully considered any concerns we had. They were dependable and considerate of our time always. We are really thrilled with the result -- the work all looks beautiful and we now have extra space in our basement for our family to grow into.

  Amazing - one of the best experiences Ive ever had working with any company. We got quotes from 3 different companies (including Custom Basements) when renovating our basement; Custom Basements clearly demonstrated experience in basement remodels and provided a quote which was far more detailed and reasonable than the other estimates we received. The entire process was seamless and communication was clear throughout the project; **** and **** were a pleasure to work with. Our new basement is an amazing new play space which our three young children will enjoy for years to come.My only suggestion when redoing a basement would be to take a look at any stairway areas from the first floor to the basement, and be sure to clarify what will happen with the stairway (repaint walls only, install new lighting, etc). Our basement stairway was built in ****, and we assumed that a remodel of the entire stairway area was included in the original scope. Custom Basements understood that their work on the stairway stopped at the floor line between the basement and first floor, and planned to install a transitional piece of trim at the floor line so that the top half of the stairway would be repainted but not resurfaced. However, we had a quick (and friendly!) discussion about how to proceed, and the problem was resolved via a small change order. The final stairway area that Custom Basements provided is seamless from the basement to the first floor, and looks better than it ever has since we purchased the house.As the other reviews here can attest, Custom Basements offers high quality, exceptional service, professional and highly experienced workers, reasonable prices (possible given their high level of experience), and impressive and timely communication with the homeowners. If you want to have a great experience remodeling your basement and work with one of the best companies in the area, I wholeheartedly recommend hiring Custom Basements for all your basement needs.

  **** and her team were great! Our project was a partial finished basement (approx 900 sf) with addition of a full bath. The project started and finished as expected and with no unexpected costs. **** and her team handled all the town permitting and our condo association reviews. Communication regarding project status, scheduling, and response to any of our questions was always timely. The team was very professional and the work site was always tidy at the end of each work day. We couldn't be happier with how our basement turned out and highly recommend Custom Basements of New England.

  We're very happy with our new basement from Custom Basements of New England. Working with **** and her team was a great experience from start to finish. A few things stand out:Vision - We had a large unfinished basement and didn't know what we wanted it to become. **** shared an initial vision and guided us with great recommendations along the way.Communication - **** and **** kept us informed throughout the process. We raised a few (minor) issues along the way and they handled them immediately.Schedule - The team was able to complete our basement ahead of schedule. We knew what was happening, when it was happening, and could track progress throughout.Professionalism - The work was done well and with a strong attention to detail. We couldn't believe how quickly each team was able to get through their work - framing, walls, floors, bathroom, painting - while also keeping the quality high.We've already recommended Custom Basements of New England to several friends and neighbors.
