    I purchased a shotgun from Bud's in March of 2022. As part of the purchase, I opted for Bud's "lifetime warranty". In June of 2024, the gun physically broke, and after the manufacture declined to fix the broken part (the gun was out of production by then), I started the "lifetime warranty" claim with Bud's. After 6 months and several back-and-forth emails requesting additional information, several messages stating "our warranty Department is backlogged, etc. etc. etc., now Bud's won't even give me a courtesy update or even return a status inquiry. Customer service is highly suspect, and the fact that they do not want to honor their warranty should be a huge red flag to all customers. Unfortunately, this was my second and final purchase from Bud's. My next stop is with the BBB, and possible litigation for resolution.

    We apologize for any inconvenience. We have received the firearm and we have been in contact with the customer to let them know that the warranty claim is still underway. In this case, we received the firearm In early September and we started the process to get the firearm sent back for repair. As we are not the manufacturer of the firearm in many cases we would contact the manufacturer/importer to warranty the firearm. There was some confusion that did cause some delays with getting the firearm sent back as they were requesting that we register the firearm prior to starting the repair. After we had cleared up the confusion we were able to send the firearm back for inspection and repair, the firearm was sent out from us on 12/17. At this time the firearm is with the importer for repair.
