    Buds can on occasion have exceptional deals on firearms. That's because you won't actually receive the firearm. I'm a service member, and I've used Buds in the past for accessories, so there were multiple shipping addresses on my account. I tried to purchase a firearm from them but was sent an email stating that they needed to contact me about my order. I called them, and was told that they needed a copy of my orders assigning me to Kansas, or a copy of my Drivers License to ship the gun; because it could only be transferred in the state that I reside. Well that's true, but Buds wasn't transferring the gun directly to me. They were transferring it to my FFL, who is responsible for verifying that I'm a resident of the state. The sales agent I initially talked to really didn't want to transfer me to his supervisor, but ultimately did, and I think that's because his supervisor is an abrasive prick. The supervisor wanted to lecture me about it being illegal to have multiple drivers licenses (I don't), and that I had to have proof of residency, and that I had to provide them that proof of residency (absolutely untrue). I cancelled my order. I'd rather pay more than deal with a fraudulent company.

    We are sorry to hear that the customer was unhappy with their experience. In this case we received an order that showed two addresses on the order that were in two different states. The primary address on the account when the order was submitted showed a different state than the address the firearm was being shipped to, which was also a state with restrictions in place. Due to the order being for a handgun and their being multiple states attached to the order we needed to confirm which state the customer was a resident of because as noted above the transfer could not be completed if the customer was not a resident of the state it was being picked up in. We are also an FFL dealer and we needed to confirm this to ensure that the transfer can be completed because we would not incur the cost of processing and shipping the firearm if the firearm would not be able to be transferred. Unfortunately, the customer did not want to provide the information requested so we cancelled the order by request and issued a full refund.

    That's absolutely untrue. The order was being shipped to my FFL in Kansas, and my billing address was also in Kansas, so my order did not reflect two addresses in different states. The addresses in my account that were not in Kansas were from previous orders made over the course of the last 8 years, and none more recent than 2018 when I was stationed at Fort Bragg. This company is soliciting personally identifiable information (PII) in conjunction with normal payment information, creating a high potential for identity theft. Can't believe they have an A+ BBB rating with a 1.44 BBB Customer Rating.

    When an order is submitted there are three addresses that will show on the completed order. It is correct that the delivery address showed as the FFL in Kansas and that the billing address also showed Kansas. However, the order will also show the physical address for the customer, which will come through as the primary address on the account. In this case, that primary address showed a Colorado address when the order was submitted which is what flagged the order. Since the order was for a handgun and it showed two states we requested the customer's ID to confirm that the order would be able to be transferred, this way the firearm would not have to be shipped out and then returned.

    I noticed a handgun I had been watching out of stock available for a cash price. I placed it in the cart and went through the checkout in just a few minutes. at the verification screen everything looked correct so I submitted the purchase. When the receipt screen appeared with the order confirmation, the sub-total was $15 dollars more than on the verification screen. When I contacted Buds about the issue they did not deny it, they argued that their prices update every 20 minutes. Apparently even if you verify the purchase information before submitting. What is the point of verifying if the price changes on you when you submit for payment? I am not comfortable with that and I doubt many people are. I have never seen a payment system on a site do that. I have bought multiple high dollar items from this site in the past but this one will be my last if this is their policy. today it's $15, tomorrow it may be $100 if I continue to shop with them. Keep this in mind if shopping on Buds Gun Shop.

    We apologize for any inconvenience. All of our inventory is priced based on our cost only and our prices are updated automatically as our cost may change. Every 20 minutes our website will update to show any changes in our inventory and pricing. Our prices can change as we get inventory in at different times and at different costs and we will always pull from the inventory at the lowest cost first to provide the best prices we can. However, once we sell out of inventory at one cost we will have to pull from other inventory which may have an increased cost and the price will update automatically to adjust to the new cost. Unfortunately, adding an item to the cart does not secure an item or guarantee a price as we cannot do that until the order is completed. When the customer notified us of this we apologized for the inconvenience, explained our pricing, and offered to cancel the order if they wished to but they declined.

    Don't waste your time or money. Have done business with them several times and it has led to issues almost every time!! And it sucks cause they do have decent prices and selection but 0 willingness to fix the issue. After several orders with no hold ups on the ship to my door items before they flag the latest order saying it isn't correct. I have lived in the same house since well before I have done business with them and never used any other address with them and after several successful orders they now say they need proof it is my address. Well they saved me over $100 bucks cause I simply won't buy those items. I can't say I have any idea why as they won't share much info with me the account holder. I have a uncommon name so that shouldn't have any part in it. I pay "cash" check when buying firearms for the better deal. So they even have my banking info at one point. Debit card info ext. They are thier own worst enemy with sales as they botched firearm models being sold to me and botched a "loan" I never asked for and had to spend time getting scrubbed from my credit history. Save yourselves the headache and at LEAST use extra caution if you don't just simply stay away like I am.

    We apologize for any inconvenience. After reviewing this account the first orders on this account were all for firearms so they were all shipped to an FFL dealer. One order was placed after those orders for some smaller accessories and was shipped to the requested address. However, the order in question was placed several months later and both of the addresses on the order were coming up as invalid addresses through the address verification program. We reached out to the customer to confirm the address to ensure there would not be any problem with the delivery of the item, but the customer requested to cancel the order rather than provide the confirmation. I do not show we were contacted over any issues with the firearms that were sent out, but in any event that there is a problem with a firearm we always advise the customer to inspect the item at the FFL and not accept the transfer and notify us and we are happy to assist. As for the financing, those are only approved after an application is submitted and goes through a third-party service. The financing was approved, however, the customer contacted us that they no longer wanted to use it so we submitted a return request so that the contract could be canceled.

    I must say I am extremely disappointed with Bud’s! I purchased a rifle on January 9th that was said to be in stock but a special order from a nearby warehouse. With that being said, the order was showing no signs of shipping weeks after purchase. This exceeded all advertised time frames on purchases. I reached out to an online rep who did make an effort to help me out. After much back and forth and over a month or wait time the order was finally cancelled and the money refunded to my account. I do not understand how they stay in business!.. I have never had an experience like this with any other online firearm company or any online company period. Needless to say I will not give them any business moving forward and I plan to warn my 2A friends of my negative experience with them. Use caution when purchasing from them so you do not have to go through the same hassle I did.

    We are very sorry for the inconvenience. This item was a special order item. Special order items are marked as they are because they are in-stock items that may require additional time in order to fully process. Typically, this means they may take up to an additional week to process over our standard 3-7 business days. However, in this case, the order was taking more time in order to fully process. We were happy to continue processing the order, as long as the customer wanted to wait, and we would ensure it was shipped out as quickly as possible. Once we were notified the customer no longer wanted to wait we started the cancellation process. This did require some time for us to ensure that the order was able to be stopped before we could issue the refund but once that was completed we did issue a full refund since the order was over our standard time frame. We can understand the frustration and we apologize again for the inconvenience.

    I’ve done business with buds gun shop up until last month without any problems ever. Today I was informed my order was canceled. I was told there were payment issues which they get paid before they ship so that’s a load of crap and initially I was told before I asked for a supervisor that they were uncomfortable, selling me a shotgun which is language I’m very familiar with when we’re talking about certain political affiliations this place is done and over do not do business with them

    I won an auction through egunner got notice item was in shipping waited 1 week and no shipping notice. Did online chat was told in shipping going out in day or 2. 1 week later still nothing sent email and got response that there was a duplicate order. THIS WAS AN AUCTION. I did an online chat to get owner contact information was told she could not give it. She said I would have to call main number. I did and got throught to someone and explained issue said they would get manager on phone. 5 minutes later someone picks up and hangs up. Very poor customer service.

    We are very sorry for the inconvenience. Unfortunately, due to an error, this auction was duplicated and the item in question was unavailable. Once the auction was completed and paid it began processing as it normally would and was electronically secured. These are the statuses that our team in the call center would see and be able to report on. In this case, the issue was not noticed until the item was ready to be physically pulled and shipped out. Once we became aware of the error the order was updated so we could notify the customer which we did via the email request they submitted on the same day. We completely understand the frustration and apologize again for the inconvenience.

    I call BS due to the egunner auction site only had 1 of this type of gun at the time of this auction when I bid on it and won it. 2 times told was pulled and in shipping. Either they have people that lie or sold the gun for a better price than I won on auction. A gun dealer must track all firearms for FFL reasons how do you have 2 auctions for the exact same gun. AGAIN BS

    I have used for over 50 transactions and they have been perfect every time and had really fast shipping. I sold them I gun for store credit and used the credit to buy a gun, I shipped my gun on a Tuesday and had the gun I bought on Friday. If you read all the comments that are negative they are just going by the rules they have posted. You must inspect the gun 100% before taking the transfer. I have never had them send me a gun they had any issues at all. They are my favorite gun shop.
