I have never been charged so much much for a rental car. I was originally quoted a lower price but when I got to the place they charged me way more then what I was expecting. The car was dirty and smell really bad and customer services is terrible. They did not returned my $200.00 deposit, we only got $45.00 back. I regret not reading the reviews before using this company. I will never used ACE again! Please STAY AWAY from renting cars here.ACE Rent A Car

I came with a pre-paid car voucher. The agent would not accept it unless I purchase additional "optional" insurance. I declined. (Now turned to my Claims Court to recover the pre-payment.) This extra insurance is not needed because the fee includes insurance for the rental (by law) furthermore, the **** card also adds insurance. I rented a car on the 6th of August and returned the car on the 7th of August and still have not received my deposit, as far as Im concerned I was told that the deposit will go back into my credit card the same day I returned the car. It has been 5 days and I still have not received my deposit. I have bills that have to come out of that account. I feel like I was misled.ACE Rent A Car

We got $300 charged by ACE when we returned the car. We did not damage the car, the scratches on rims were there before we picked it up. The person inspecting the vehicle barely looked at the wheels in the dark parking garage when he gave it to us, and when we returned it, he sat down and put his flashlight closely up to the tires. They also gave us a Dodge 8 cylinder engine with "expensive rims" which made loud engine noise when we only requested a full size car at time of reservation. We also had to wait 20 minutes to get the car in the first place. I would give this place a zero if I could.ACE Rent A Car

I have never had this experience with any rental car agency in my lifetime and have never paid more than what I charged initially for the rental car. I felt the whole experience was fishy from the beginning. I strongly suggest your ***** location change their practice and be fully transparent with customers with the type of cars being lent out and not sticking them with a car that doesn't meet customer expectations. The car should never be put on as general rental unless it is specifically required by customers. I was forced to close out my credit card so no further charges would show up by Ace given I have zero trust with this establishment.Review fromTyrone B

Stay away from this car rental company!! They make huge profits by claiming giving customers scratch /damaged cards claiming the customer did it and filing insurance claims against your credit card company, car insurance company or pursing you to pay. Customer Message:Hello I would like to file a complaint against AJ he works at the ***** airport location. During our vacation the check engine light came on. My wife called and was explaining how the car didnt want to start and how the lights was on. Out of nowhere this *********** just starts yelling at my wife on the phone. This is completely unacceptable we spoke to the person that said he was the manager on duty and he claimed he would speak to him. As a regional manager I know if anyone in my company talked to a customer that way that employee would of been let go that day. I would like to know what are your plans to address this with your employees. I also want a full refund for the car we rented.ACE Rent A Car

I was very disappointed about this rental company. The staff was unprofessional and rude. The car was dirty. There was not adequate staff at the lot. The tires were horrible when we received the car. We had a flat. They don't have roadside assistance. When I returned the car and informed the staff about the flat, the person at the counter was so rude and disrespectful. Never rent from this company. I wouldn't give them a 1 star. The put a hold on your card even if it is a major credit card. This is common with debit cards but not major credit cards. They steal your money! You cant take the car out of state! They have trackers on the cars and will charge you over $700 for taking the vehicle out of state. $350 plus all the fees that they dont tell you about until after they charge your card! Then the a$$ threatened to charge me an additional .50 a mile on top of everything else. He said we could negotiate when I returned the vehicle. I blocked my card so he couldnt charge me. They will also charge an additional $25 plus fees for dropping your vehicle after 10pm. They also charged me a $200 deposit for having a passenger. They were nice enough to use that toward my $700 fee for taking the vehicle out of state. They didnt have the vehicle that I reserved so I was upgraded to a piece of c*** that could barely make it up the hills. This 2 day rental ended up costing over $1000.00. I booked through Hotwire so I thought it was legit and prepaid $200 to reserve the rental. You wont find out about all the extra fees and rules until you pick up the vehicle. Do yourself a favor and walk away from this place. Total scam!!!!!!ACE Rent A Car

Got shammed into additional insurance costs. When booked through travelocity, I declined all additional costs and and insurance and agreed to the rate. I entered my personal auto insurance in to have in the system for the reservation. I was never once asked about insurance I handed the agent my license and card and he had me sign on the screen. Never once was the word insurance brought up. He put me in the system for CDW insurance and toll coverage totaling in excess of $150.00. None of which was agreed upon in my travelocity agreement.ACE Rent A Car

I rented a car on ***** for 4 days, upon our arrival the shuttle driver cornered my wife while i was inside getting the rental car demanding a tip. she said I'm sorry i dont any cash he said wow that's how you are really !!!! I didn't found this out til aout 15 min down the road I tried for 2 hours to call the call center with no answer, the car was disgusting and most gages don't work especially the gas gage such a scam. I highly suggest someone to look into the manager at this site because he or she isn't fit to lead people. it gets better for the problem the hourly employees said the manager wouldn't come and talk with me but would be able to give me 1 free day hahahahah i just spent **** in vail do you think i care about 150 bucks !!!!!!!!!!!!!
