I could not stress strongly enough to stay away from this company and there affiliates *********************************, from there almost doubling the estimate after our processions are in there storage locker to refusing to pay for damages, a horrible experience.

In order to research this complaint we will need the move registration number for the relocation. Our system does not have a move registered by the name of ********************* so we need to ensure we are the correct company?

They had three months to move our belongings from CA to WI, and our stuff still isnt here. Every time we call they say theyre loading our van. They are clearly lying and now were facing a reality that they stole our belongings and all off our childhood keepsakes and daughters favorite things. Would never use this company again. The corporate office is quick to take your money, but hasnt done a thing to help out. Shouldve seen the red flags when they botched our initial agreement to move it here first and store it. Thieves.

A senior family member just used Allied's services and was solicited at pick up and delivery for tips. "I better get my tip" was told to them by the head of the move at the ****** location. As if several grand wasn't enough for the move. My family member felt intimated and paid it to them. It was never done in front of witnesses. The workers themselves were nice and worked hard (although items were damaged during move) but find another "leader". The response by the business office was "just don't pay it to them" Easily said when it's not your property being moved.

We are truly sorry if this family member was treated in this manner. In order to check into this the carrier will need a move registration number and the name the relocation was under.Thank you,

This was already reported in person at your ****** location. Their response is in my review.

Warning to anyone considering using Allied Van Lines for their moving needs. My family and I moved from ***** to **********. The packers were nice and the haul team was excellent. However, we marked boxes for a split move (one to temp address in Cali, second to storage prepaid for one year). After 6 months, we found our home and scheduled our delivery. This is where everything went downhill, and very fast. Our $7000 movie screen was crated and dangling off the back edge of the trailer. A lot of our large contents were unwrapped and thrown into wooden boxes, some items were damaged by the crating. The delivery team was not friendly at all, nor did they care about our household goods A lot of items were thrown down, and they mishandled our theater speakers and damaged them. When confronted, they gave an eye roll and kept going, yep, damaged. When they left, I had to clean our driveway which was littered with nails, screws, and broken shards of wood everywhere. I took pictures and gave them to the claims department. They also delivered a mattress that belongs to a different family.I called multiple times to get them to come to get the mattress that they misdelivered. I even called the manager at the ********* office where our items were held in storage. They completely refused to come to pick it up and the manager refused to return my calls. I emailed Allied, they would not return my emails. I am a hairs width from getting legal involved just so I can get answers. To make a long story short, they are the absolute worst company I have ever had the displeasure of using. I cannot find the corporate number to get answers since their employees are refusing since our move is done.My advice to anyone considering Allied or subsidiaries is to STAY AWAY. Use someone else or do it yourself if feasible. Almost $27k in damages and they are refusing to correct their errors.

We are truly sorry for all the frustration and inconvenience the customer has experienced from their relocation. If the claimant still has the mis-delivered mattress please let the claim adjuster know you would like it picked up. It looks like the claim is actively being worked on there should be resolution soon. The initial claim was for items claimed as missing but there were items still in storage so the storage portion needed to deliver prior to confirming if items were missing. Again we do apologize for all the frustration regarding the damages your goods sustained.

I want to flag this company because of its local affiliate. We hired Excel, which is a local affiliate of Allied Van Lines, through Allied Van Lines for our move from ** to LA for June 2022. The movers were not careful with our belongings, and in the transit process, several of the items arrived damaged and/or outright missing. When I left a bad review on ****** to complain about the service received, the General Manager of Excel replied that because my husband tipped the delivery-end workers generously, we must have not been that unhappy. Essentially, he/she insinuated that if we found items to be damaged (some of which, by the way, the delivery people kindly pointed out to us and made sure we wrote up), we should withhold tips from the delivery workers, even if they were not the ones who broke the items (and in fact tried to help us find the missing items). We're pretty shocked that this is the attitude/view of Excel/Allied towards their employees and how customers should treat them. We would never have thought that tipping the delivery-end workers would be held as evidence that we were happy with all parts of the move, and it's crude and insensitive to even signal to future customers that they shouldn't tip the delivery workers, regardless of fault, if they want their complaints to be taken seriously. The ** also outright lied in his/her response. I clearly wrote that all broken items were loaded by Excel/Allied, but he chose only to respond to my complaint about the smashed boxes (none of the items that were broken were ones we packed ourselves, the complaint about boxes was more of a response about how little care went into treating our items). The ** of Excel seemed more interested in looking good online, and never attempted to reach out to my husband (whose contact information he has). All of this before we even had our claim assessed. We're not very optimistic that the claims process will be helpful given the attitude so far.
