We bought a 2021 Grey Wolf Black Label. The doors are literally coming off the camper frame and all. We put a complaint in to the company. Our local Susquehanna RV said they did not install door properly they screwed them into insulation. In order to fix the doors they are ******** for 1 door. We need two doors. The warranty we bought when we bought the camper does not the doors are not covered. We sent Forest River the information to Corp. They denied our complaint. Now they up graded the doors so the new camper will have the doors properly installed. Why did they not do this in the first place its there fault for not properly installed to begin with.Review fromJeff S

Forest River sold me a camper with known problems with the slide. I was stranded with the slide out at a camp site and they wouldnt help me. I had to drive it to them with the slide out. They have admitted fault, attempted a repair and failed, and are now not providing additional support or compensation. The slide of my camper is not useable and the camper is no longer in the condition as I took it to them. Customer service is non-existent. Do not buy a Forest River product.Review fromTara S

If I could leave 1/2 a star I would. This camper is just like a stereotypical trophy wife in the movies. Pretty, but doesn't work. In 2022, we purchased a brand new Salem 26DBUD, that was delivered to our home. It has been nothing but problems from day 1. If the service department completed the "mandatory" 8 hour walk through, prior to delivery, they would've seen broken latches, blinds not installed, wood cracked, wall wasn't attached to frame, slide out leaked, and the water tank hooked up wrong. We had to turn it in for repairs, before it was even used! Since then, something has broken every time we used it. Indoor and outdoor kitchen fridge's didn't cool, master bed support beam snapped, underbelly tore off, kitchen sink collapsed, door won't lock, trim/molding separating, roof is leaking (after being re-sealed), shore power inlet caught on FIRE TWICE while on vacation, developed hot foot, which shocked my dog every time he touched the steps. Poor guy is scared of the camper now and won't enter or exit. We had to carry him in and out, and he's 70+ lbs. All of the issues we've had are manufacturer defects due to poor workmanship and while most were covered under the initial warranty, it shouldn't be happening to a brand new camper! This is a complete lemon, and not worth the hassle to use! It's in the shop more than we've used it! We've spent a lot of money on something that falls apart every time we take it out of our yard! We even had to find a new dealer to complete the repairs, as our nearest one doesn't get paid in full from Forest River, and they refuse to work on them anymore. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone! Do not waste your money!Review fromRICHARD S

Bought a Puma in 2019, brand new. Within one year everything began falling apart and wed only used three times locally. We were choked out by CO gas leaking from water heater, several pipes leaked, the trim fell off, screws all over the place were popping out, the interior was even worse with paneling peeling, seams peeling. We complained and only after threatening them with a lawsuit for carbon monoxide poisoning, did they pick up our trailer. They had 3 weeks and "fixed". We got the trailer back 2 years ago, and since then the leaks are back inside and out, the trim completely fell off, screws continue to pop out of the frame and siding, the air conditioner only works once in a while and worse of all the slide-out stopped working. Just to repair the slide out motor will cost us a minimum of $3500. Here's some advice: DON'T WASTE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY ON A PIECE OF JUNK FROM FOREST RIVER! We neither have the time or money and our $25,000 investment has put us on the skids. We're an older couple and can't afford to sell it, I don't have the conscience to dump this c*** hole on some one, even my worst enemies. Forest River makes several brands, so beware! As for the "warranty" the manufacturer claims it's the responsibility of the seller, and the seller claims its the manufacturers problem. Sierra ** and ***** River, typical American shell game. A three card ***** is a safer bet. Our dream of traveling through retirement is done. We can't afford the constant repairs, and we don't trust the trailer 5 feet from our driveway. BEWARE!Review fromAlfred C

Bought $130K Coachmen Nova C Li3 LEMON - Court case pending - attorneys getting no response.10 different attempts to repair power steering/alternator/serpentine belt related issues that make vehicle unsafe to drive. Now paying $1300 monthly for a parked camper van in storage - no consideration for their customers - their supplier, **** Nations, and the ***** dealership we purchased from equally disappointing.Stop and reconsider your dream - the ** industry quality issues are real.Review fromJoy J

Bought a 2023 Forest River Rockwood in September. Took it out first time and since we had an issue with the bed slide not working properly, we got up on the roof to check and noticed that you could see under the roof membrane that they had installed things upside down. My husband took pictures and we to it in to our dealership as soon as we got back. They filed it with Forest River who came back and said they wouldn't cover the fix because they say there is a hole....a very tiny hole that the only way we can figure is there is because they built it wrong. We've only used the trailer one time and there wasn't anything on or near that part of the trailer that would have caused a hole. Even if there is a hole, it's still built wrong. This is the worst service I've ever experienced. They're not standing behind their product. I will never buy from them again and I definitely wouldn't recommend them.Review fromCurt D

Zero stars. Our 2015 FR is a complete piece of garbage. The roof separated from the passenger wall and our $30,000 trailer is finished. A $20,000 repair bill, zero help from FR after stating they have seen this happen before. Our tech told us the manufacturing process was flawed and this should never have happened.DO NOT BUY *********** Terrible product, even worse customer service.Review fromGary Z

Purchased a new Forest River 2019 RPod 190, with extended warranty. Beside numerous problems including, sink fell thru, drawers broke within first few months of purchase, and others. Now, after about 1 1/2 years of use, we took it in for servicing as the Camper was listing to one side. Tires were not the problem. Dealer found the axle was broken (thankfully we did not have an accident due to the broken axel), and due to weight distribution because of broken axel, the wall was separating from the frame. Totally unsafe to drive. Dealer could not make the repairs to the wall, and since extended warranty had expired a few months ago, dealer nor Forest River Corp, would make any effort to help us. Since repairs of wall would be very expensive, and not covered by any warranty and no confidence the wall repairs would work, were looking for help hoping Forest River would stand by its product. Guess not. Cheap and sloppy build is what they seem to stand for. We highly recommend buyers should NOT purchase a Forest River RV. Appears we are far from the only ones who experience these kinds of problems due to poor build quality. Forest River also has Very poor customer service. Forest river is an over priced and poorly constructed product. We purchased a brand new, off the lot, 2022 Wildwood model, with all the bells and whistles. The camper only being a year old now is falling apart. We've had 2 major plumbing leaks that have caused rot and mold. The kitchen cabinets are falling apart. The counter tops in the bathroom and kitchen both had damaged when purchased. Bathroom vanity is crumbling. The couch frame broke with in a month of owning it and was not "under warranty". I would not recommend this product or company to anyone.
