I am an eldery person who was pressured into contract for one year.After 5 or so applications no noticable change in the amount of bugs or mice was seen.I told them I did not wanT the service any more and now they are charging me a cancel fee.Taking advantage of eldery people is not nice!!EcoShield Pest Solutions

If I could give them negative stars, I would. Horrible company to deal with! Stay away! Looks like I am not the only person having problems with them. Wish I would have known this before. Door to door Salesman was misleading and lied to me! It took me over an hour on the phone to cancel the poor service and they sent me a confirmation the service was cancelled. Now they are harassing me for payment of a service never performed. They know I am a senior and think they can pull a scam on me. Shame on them! My advice to everyone is to be aware and do not believe them.EcoShield Pest Solutions

Salesman lied about the service. I tried repeatedly to cancel the service explaining how the salesman was misleading, Same response with no regard as to my complaint. After one discussion i was told that they would continue the service with an additional $35.00 discount for the remaining applications. When I received the next statement the amount was the same. I called to ask why and in a ******************* a** remark "well you signed a contract".Still have not had any resolve and they intend to continue billing me. A real shame that a company does not communicate nor respond in a positive way to solve a situation.If anyone actually reads these, do not use this service.EcoShield Pest Solutions

Like panhandlers, these guys approach you every spring and summer and pressure you to sign up for their services. They even goes so far as to say that the neighbors use their services and they recommend you to us. Over the years, I declined to use the service, but last year I finally caved in and decided to give them a try. The guy assured me that the $200 fee would be waived when I cancel the service no problem as I would only be here for a short period of time. I did not intend to keep the service long term and he said that’s fine cancel anytime without the $200 fee. I informed them back in December that I would not require the service at this time, their reply was ok. This happened towards the end of December and the beginning of January when the temperatures dropped below zero freezing. Suddenly, they appear unannounced to perform a treatment. Mind you, it is below zero and the yard is covered with snow. I’m watching this guy so called treat the outside of my house which was only about at the most ten minutes. I called up the customer service to tell them that I was canceling the service and they transferred me to a few other people the last lady I spoke to I told her that I was getting ready for deployment and she said I need to give her my military paperwork. After we got into a brief conversation of why that wasn’t going to happen she proceeded to advise that the $200 would be waived. It didn’t happen she **** I go into my account to pay the overpriced $169 service charge and there’s a $200 commitment payback fee also added to the account. I wish that I would of just said no like before because their business practices are very shady and the service is not worth the money.EcoShield Pest Solutions

Signed up for this service through a very young guy promising e that I eeded their service (I was new to the area). Needless to say, after just 2 visits and having paid for the 2 visits, I knew that their service/product was not working, so I requested them to cancel the service. I called the office muliple times to ensure that all was canceled and good. I was assured that the servie was cancelled and that I didn't owe anything. Ever since, I've been getting letters from debt collectors demanding $190 cancellation fees. I just paid that today for THE WORST POSSIBLE SERVICE EVER! HORRIBLE business to deal with. In the beginning the salesperson was honest, informative, everything he explained was understood, even the service contract, which we asked if we didn't like the service or didn't think it was working for us, we could cancel, and he said yes. Until I tried to cancel the service, they said we would have to pay out a contract of 13 months, which we didn't agree to, and they wanted to give a $25 discount on a bi-monthly rate of $169, for which I simply told them I wanted to cancel. They tried several times to continue the conversation, not understanding that I directly told them I did not want their service any longer, and wanted to cancel. Very poor customer service, I would not recommend them at all. When I asked to speak to a supervisor, I was told I could continue to speak to the person on the phone, which sounded like a robot. After asking several times, I simply told them goodbye and hung up. I have never had this issue with any other service provider that I deal with, and I deal with many. I'm in the service industry myself and am totally dissatisfied with the way they handled this. Very unprofessional.EcoShield Pest Solutions

This business is as shady as they come. I am another tale from the long list of good, hardworking people on this business review who were scammed with snake-oil salesmen promising the world and selling door-to-door. The guy who came to the house blatantly lied to us and said that he was starting the business from his local shop, and that it was a small town operation (trust me, I am kicking myself for not verifying it right there online). After the contract was signed they sent one of their service reps out who then proceeded to tell me that we had a pest issue that required a "specialist" and he couldn't do anything. I thought these guys were the "specialists"??? As such, I cancelled the service and now they are hounding me for their $150 that I owe them back for the "discount" they gave me when I first agreed to work with them. I am going to pay the fee because I do the honest thing. This company is business-version of a predator at the highest level. They prey on innocent people for a quick buck and pat themselves on the back along the way. It's a horrific company and I am stunned that businesses like this are still operating in our country. I got trapped with 2 years contract. If they are confident in their product and service, customers will stay and even beg them for their service. In the winter, only spent 5 minutes on my house, but charge me the same which is $319. Let them come anyway until my last straw. They sprayed the solution at where I told them (stated clearly in the contract) NOT TO. The area is the front court yard where I have 45 giant Japanese koi fish. The guy sprayed everywhere in that area. I happened to be out of town. I watched the security camera with my heart dropped on the floor afraid that my koi will die. I canceled the contract (only 6-7 times left.) They offered to give me a discount for their next service. Now they want $200 cancellation fee from me. Please dont get yourself into the contract with Ecoshield Pest Control. I still had bugs in my house all year long.EcoShield Pest Solutions

Do NOT fall for their door to door sales pitch! All LIES! They came and provided their service and killed my new tree when they sprayed it with their not so eco friendly products. When i called to complain, they blamed everyone and everything except for their products. Their products are NOT eco friendly. The products they use are poisonous and killed my tree. Then when I tried to cancel the contract, they had the audacity to continue to charge me for services not rendered and they didn't want to reimburse me for the damage they did to my tree or the $209 dollars I had spent for the 1st service that killed my tree!! My new tree originally cost me $449+Lanscaping $150+ 1st service fee of $210 - this was a $800 loss for me!I received two professional opinions, one being an arbor expert, and they both agreed that their products did kill my tree. Both professionals confirmed that their products are NOT eco friendly. Their company should've reimbursed me for the cost of my tree OR at least the money I spent for their services that caused my tree to die. That company is a scam and I hope people read my review and no longer fall for their dishonest and unethical ways of doing business!EcoShield Pest Solutions
