I would give them a negative 5 star rating if I could. I was convinced by a Hibu sales rep that advertising my business with them would be well worth the high price they charged me. The opposite happened. After spending a large amount of money ($3892.03) I got less than 5 leads. I did much better advertising in Google on my own. The leads they developed were sent to me so I could judge results. I contacted them asking that my contract be canceled because I was told how fantastic their results would be, and this didn't happen. I had a witness with me who can verify their exaggerated claims. I told them if they continued to try to collect the balance owed ($824.48), I would let others know how terrible this company worked for me. They are still trying to collect a balance due of $824.48 threatening to sue me. I refuse to pay for a service that accomplished close to nothing for me, so I'm writing this review to warn others about using this company. They offer the sky, but don't deliver. Ask for a guarantee of results IN WRITING or use someone else.Review fromJillian I

Please do not take anything this company says as legit! My rap had insured me that if my ads did not work out we could to pause them and also ask why they were automatically charging my debit card when I did not authorize it because they got my numbers when I went to pay my 1st month online without me knowing That it would turn into in ACH. They claimed that that is the way they do things even though I requested to send them a check and try to work with them explaining that my company was not doing well and the advertisements weren't helping at that point but I really wanted to keep their website they would not work with me so I disputed with my bank changed my card numbers and they still somehow fraudulently we were able to get my card numbers and charge my account again. I am currently in the process of Taking legal action On this company for fraudulently Getting my card numbers in charging it even though I never authorized it.Review fromRoberto H

Beware of this Company! Paid over $2,800 for a website and monthly maintenance. By the end of the contract, we decided not renew our contract with them, so they immediately took off my website and began to lie about their procedures. They took apart my website and left it unworkable (Note: we were still under contract when this happened.) Now we had to contract a new company and start over the website. HIBU is an extremely expensive company and they do not do anything for your company. They will treat you as royalty at first to get your business then once you find out that they are not doing anything for you, they will treat you like garbage and take your money. After several calls and emails, we gave up on contacting them, when we found out that they were lying to us. The supervisor couldn't even return our call or emails. As a company we promote our business through websites and there actions had a great impact when our customer could not visit our website portal. We believed HIBU was an ethical, trusting and professional company, but we were so wrong. We made a wrong decision contracting HIBU.

This company will try and take over your business, it said on thr website you can cancel before it goes live and they wouldn't cancel and told me I was locked in for 6 months, and couldn't cancel at all, I had my own website they wouldn't let me use and put a different number on the site, then did a Google biz profile and won't let me claim my page but I got a postcard sent to take my business back they said I will go to collections I begged them and told them they could keep the initial payment of $2023 but no they still charge my card this company is not worth it and at thr end of six months they will take all your review website and try to control your business.Review fromAnthony D

This company is completely unethical and a scam. Almost $13,000 later they still charged me even after cancelling their services. They were so proud to tell me they got me to the top of search for certain key words. What they left out was that NO ONE within the company took the time to look at google analytics and realize no one is searching the terms they were charging me for. Run far and fast from these guys. Cancelling Service I emailed my rep to cancel service, they continued to charge my credit card. I called HIBU and they said they would cancel the service if I would confirm all past payments as valid. I refused and am disputing my credit card bill. This takes my time and HIBU's time. Be careful as HIBU is not trustworthy.Review fromTina H

Tried Hibu once and it didn't work for me. Fine, no problem. I canceled the service. Fast forward a few years, I get a random sales call from them. I told him I was not interested. No problem right? The next week, two salesman walked into my shop. They admitted that they were from Hibu, had already been told that I wasn't interested, and were trying to pitch me. I told them again I wasn't interested, and they kept trying to pitch me. Didn't think they were gonna leave, but they did when I told them that I had work to do and then stared them down. I'll tell you what, I didn't have bad feelings before, but there's no way I would do business with a company that tries to force themselves on you like that after I said no.Review fromChristine T

They reinstated my contact without my consent and refused to cancel it or stop billing me. The representative was condescending, abusive and refused to stop the unlawful billing. Absolutely the worst company I have ever encountered.
