The representative refused to show me any carpet samples. He even tried to quote a price over the phone without ever visiting my home. His price was too high. I have a fixer up home. He mentioned to his supervisors areas I needed to repair, but I had already told him that I was working to repair those areas. He refused to help me repair some laminate issues or at least recommend someone who could.50 Floor

For the start of this nightmare I had the 50 flooring salesman come over on 7/25/22 to give me an estimate for one room I wished to have laminate installed. *********************** arrived and showed me the colors and assured me they have the best products and the thickness was exactly the same on the products installed as the sample pieces shown in the book. I said I needed the flooring installed as soon as possible and he assured me that they could do my floor by first days in August . I chose a color which was the lightest one in the sample book. **** said ok . Put his book away and got out paperwork. He had told me earlier if he had to come back to do the signing up it would be a $150 upcharge if I didn't sign up that day so I paid him and signed the papers. I called him after he left to ask to do the waterproof flooring **** said "no problem I will do that no extra charge"On August 2 ***************************** the assistant manager called me 11am and 2 pm.2 pm she verified the installers would be over Friday August 5. I took a Vac. Day so I would be home so I'm home waiting on August 5 Friday no call and it's 10:30AM. I call and a call comes in its **** from installation **** calling to set up my install. What??? They're supposed to be here today I said. I told him ***************************** assured me the installers would be here today. **** said "she shouldn't have told you that" So he has me on the phone while he calls the installers to go pick up my boxes of planks for my install and they arrive soon afterThey want me to sign a release that I ok the materials. I go to look at the flooring and it is not only the wrong ********** looks nothing like the flooring samples. It was so thin and the finish was totally different compared to the sample they said they were not waterproof either .I spoke to a manager ***** who was not very apologetic said my refund he would process Monday and take a week to 10 days!50 Floor

50Floor claims a timely and stress-free experience from start to finish. Our experience was nothing short of terrible. We share our experiences so that future customers are aware of the possible problems that they may face. The goal Install new hardwood on 1st floor of our home. Poor Quality/Installation | Installed several planks that looked NOTHING like the product we purchased. Splintered Flooring. So bad, that we could not walk on the floor without shoes No Respect for Customers Home/Invasion of Privacy |Installation leader used our kitchen microwave without permission. Workers went inside our refrigerator and left their beverages. Kitchen appliances and Countertops were caked with a layer of dust. left blood stains on the floor and walls! Lack Timely Follow-up/No Respect for Customers Time| Extremely difficult to get responses from customer service and leadership. 2 planned visits where 50Floor was a No show!!! Took almost 2.5 months to correct the first install. We could not fully function in our home. Per the new installation leader, the first installation was so bad the only way he could fix is to reinstall a new floor Integrity -- NOT| Talk to the Assistant GM on Jan 24th and he profusely apologized and admitted that they did a really poor job and acknowledged how it had disrupted our personal lives. He said I did not have to worry about the paying remaining balance because of the experience. I said Wow now, that is doing the right thing. Fast forward to July 2022. Received letter from a new AGM stating that I have a balance due. I explained the conversation with the other AGM (which I found out he had left the company in May and the new AGM could not corroborate the conversation). I paid balance in full. The new AGM did offer a concession with a much smaller discount than the original AGM but I would have to agree not to share my experience. And ****** is more about the principle (integrity) than the money.50 Floor

Our floor is falling apart and now has become a trip hazard all over.There was poor workmanship on the floor install because there was no sub floor installed. The floor has warped and the tile layers of the *** Plank are peeling creating a trip hazard. There are also trip hazards on the carpet as the floor sinks the carpet (previously stretched) it creates a buildup in the pile to trip over and extra wear occurred on both the carpet and the underlayment after one year. A representative from 50Floor came out and upon first look exclaimed that this floor was in need of a sub-floor and that was the reason for the troubles. He responded to the complaint a few months ago but now NO CONTACT.The only resolve is for the floor to be properly installed. The entire floor of carpet and *** Plank needs replacement and a sub-floor with proper installation, Upon investigation ,I was charged for a sub-floor but it was never installed. I do not want their products on my home any longer.Our house air quality has deteriorated since the new flooring with alarms for high levels of carbon dioxide DAILY! 50 Floor will not help with our warranty for the carpet as it has permanents stains and wear patterns that have eroded the pile and crushed the padding. The nap continues to pull up at every vacuuming so much that it clogs our robot every other time. Our Dyson cannot travel on the carpet without heavy pull and push force and pulls up the nap.Having a reoccuring NIGHTMARE after spending the money and getting worse product that it replaced. ONE STAR is way too much credit for this con-artist traveling show.50 Floor

I give them two stars because the flooring itself and installation is great. I would give them ZERO for customer service. We had our entire house done. We were lied to about having to pay a plumber to reinstall our toilets, so there was another $1500 out of pocket. Our sales rep ******** told us he would be our point of contact the entire process but wanted nothing to do with us after the sale. A light was broken during the installation process, which overall was not a big deal, but in trying to get them to fix it, they won't do anything. I have called numerous times and spoken to many people. I have left voice-mails with some people and not a call back. I went through the contact us on the regional website as well as the national site and NOTHING. This has been going on for several weeks and am no closer to getting our light fixed.50 Floor

My experience has been anything but good. At first I was impressed but as time goes on not so much. First you need to know the flooring was for a rental property of ours. The prior tenants were evicted and they did leave a mess. All the floors were carpeted and horribly stained. This wasnt hidden, couldnt be, when the salesman came to call. I picked out the floors, paid for the carpet to be removed and hauled away. Before the vinyl was laid I spent a day removing half of the carpet in the main room so I could clean the floor. The installer that came removed the other half. He was very nice. Then while he was working on the floor he was running out of product so he couldnt finish. Carpet installers come and before they came I had removed the carpet from one of the bedrooms to clean under it. The one bedroom I left. It had pop stains but was in the best condition. The installers refused to remove or take the carpet up. Said it had pet stains, it didnt. Said they didnt have enough carpet to do the job either. Again the worst of the carpet was pulled up by me. All they needed to do were the steps and this one room. I called 50 Floors and was so upset. Why cant they at the very least do the one room I had ready? It was a different color. Well they left and nothing was done. I have since pulled up and disposed of all the carpet and have been trying to have the job completed but require a credit for the work they were contracted to do and didnt. It has been a month since they refused to do the work. Ive made multiple calls to them and still waiting.50 Floor

I would not recommend this company to anyone based on the service or lack of service after installation. A warranty on services provided is no good if you cant get the company to come back and see what the problem is. It took up to 3-4 months each time someone was to come back and complete the installation of my floors. Ive made several attempts to have installation corrected, only to wait a minimum of at least a month to even talk to someone. There have been at least two different contractors look at the floors and say that the install was not done properly. Therefore I am left waiting for a call again. Someone was last out in the beginning of May.I spoke with a representative that day and she said someone would call me the next day. Well, its only been in excess of 4 weeks and they have yet to respond to my voice messages. Mind you taking my cash payment was not a problem for them. A I am a senior citizen and and I dont have $2500.00 plus for the service or lack of service I have received. I am still trying to get this problem resolved so that I never have to communicate with this company ever again. Please forgive any typos. Im just a bit disgusted and frustrated. Ive been going through this over a year now. I give one star because its the lowest available. Bootleg **** around the corner and down the street may have been a better option at this rate.50 Floor

My husband signed a contract with 50floors located in ************** back in May 2022. We also paid a little over $2,000 for a down payment to have laminate floors installed. I was not informed at the time of signing the contact it would be a delay for the materials needed to complete the job. For the past two weeks Ive been calling and getting the runaround regarding an installation date. I called several times today, spoke with *** around 11 am this morning. She said that I would receive a call back sometime today/ However, it is now 5:07 pm and no one has contacted me. I was also told if I cancel the job I would lose 20% of my down payment. Due to their lack of professionalism and incompetence, I am requesting to have the issue resolved immediately or refund my entire deposit/. This is absurd! This is one of my biggest regrets doing business with this company.50 Floor

I paid the ******* office $908 on April 27 and my credit card was charged. This was 50% of the total price. The balance was to be paid the day of the installation before the work began. Since then, my installation has been rescheduled multiple times, with a different excuse nearly every time. This morning, 6/16/22, they called again saying my installation today has to be rescheduled. I always promised myself I would never pay upfront for anything, but I let my guard down. 50floor has now been using my money for nearly 2 months, and I have nothing. If I could leave them NO STARS I would, but the BBB wants a star review. BEWARE OF 50floor!50 Floor

We had 50 Floor around 4 years ago to install luxury vinyl in our bedrooms! It was awesome! Fast turn around and the floors have stood up to the test of time! We had them back a little over 2 years ago to do the rest of the house and now that floor is pulling up. As you read this, remember, the bedroom floors are great and have **** treated the same way as the rest of the house. One person from 50 Floor came out, had us send them pictures later, but said the battery was out in his moisture meter, but would submit a claim with the manufacturer and their inspector would come out. The inspector did, took some pictures, but did not measure for moisture. He said "we have to drill holes and you don't want me to do that..." His findings? Moisture in the subfloor. What? They didn't even measure for that and again, the bedroom floors are fine. Funny thing is I have pictures of some floor prep they did and that's where the flooring is coming up the most. So we are out $7K and have a floor coming up that we'll have to try and find money to replace after only two years. This is obviously a manufacturer defect they don't want to take care of. They only get two stars because the first experience was so good. This one was bad start to now finish two years later. The installers as well took longer, ran out of materials, and griped about having to take up our previous floor.50 Floor
