A young man came to our door and offered to treat the exterior of our home for $160 and we specifically asked him if we could agree to just a one time treatment and pay the $160 with no contract for future services to which he replied yes. we paid the $160 for a one time treatment and several weeks later received a bill for a monthly service contract. when we called to question this we were told we had signed up for a 24 month service agreement. The young man who came to our door uninvited lied to our face when he asked us to sign his I pad to complete the payment for the one time service. Now we are being billed $231 for a cancellation fee according to the representative we talked with today. Do Not do business with this company as they prey on the elderly and lie to them.Ecoshield Pest Solutions

When I signed up for this service, I specifically asked if the 160 dollar payment would cover two services, and I was told yes, just two services. The salesman stated it was completely safe he had me sign on his iPad but did not allow me to see the contract and did not advise me that there was a 3 day right of recession. Later, after doing more research, I realized that I was locked in for a two year contract, and that I would receive service twice a quarter for 160 dollars EACH TIME. Whatever was shown to me on the iPad, was NOT in the contract that was later emailed to me. After reading reviews about the quality of the products, which are NOT organic and safe for pets as advertised, I believe this company is engaged in unethical and possibly fraudulent business practices. I had no intention of signing up for a long term contract and did NOT agree to sign up for that. There was no mention of a two year contract on the page shown to me on the iPad. I specifically asked if it would be on a short term basis and I would not sign anything long term or agree to any long term contract. In essence, the salesman LIED. The salesman also told me about my neighbors who had signed up as well, and it turns out that was a LIE too. They have now charged me a $200 dollar cancellation fee, and try to get you on the phone to hustle you out of canceling. Please dont make the stupid mistake I did.Ecoshield Pest Solutions

I had a schedule appointment around June 9th 2023. I was having my front yard and back yard treated for Bees and bugs. My initial appointment went well and I decided to sign on with the company. I thought it would be a good company. I want to say when the Guy name *** came to spray the yard, I could see him on the camera he rang the doorbell. I spoke and said go ahead with the work I would be on my way. All the work was for outside, so I didn't need to be home. I guess I should have not said that I was on my way home. The guy representing the company Eco Shield walked to his car and pulled off without doing any work. I returned home less than 15mins later. the ************* was gone. I received a message from the company with a bill for service rendered in the amount of $140.00. I contacted the company that same day after looking at the cameras to verify what I already knew. This Fool charged me for work he did not do. I spoke with someone from the company explaining what had just taken place. The company said an investigation would take place. LIES LIES LIES. I called back to follow up and nothing had been done. I decided to cancel my contract with EcoShield and the company had the nerve to charge me $200.00 for a cancelation fee. This company needs to step back and take a good look at their hiring practices. All this company had to do was make their right wrong with me and I would still be a customer. I had *********************** out today for my second treatment. He performed his job well. He hand cranked bug chemicals into the soil around the entire perimeter of the home. He broke out his 12 foot wand and knocked down all the cobwebs. Afterward, he sprayed the entire basement. When I asked him about a potential infestation of wasps in our 2d floor attic space he didn't hesitate and immediately followed me to investigate. He found some mud dabbers and sprayed the entire area, despite it being at least 110 degrees up there. The representative came to my door and got my attention by talking about mice in the community. He told me my bill was going to ****** bi monthly and I was getting that service. He never told me I was paying an initial fee for $169 in June and then another $169 in July a month later. I would not have accepted the service and he knows that. He also failed to tell me the different ways I could pay the bill he made it seem like it had to be done via automatic payment. I spoke to a customer service rep today (*****) and I requested she take my card off of automatic pay effective today 7.13.2023. Now, I see why he failed to tell the different payment options ( the customer care representative told me about the options) to make the payment so you could take the other payment in July. I did not budget for that money to come out of my account this month. I feel the representative that knocked on my door was a fast talking ******** and he represents the company. Waste of money! Still had ants and other bugs everywhere! They will charge you an arm and a leg and then keep you on the phone forever when you try to cancel. The $200 early termination fee is ridiculous. If you can cut my bill in half to keep me as a customer, you can waive the cancellation fee. Im moving and dont see you as an asset to take with me. The problem is that all the bugs head straight for your home .I had to go buy extra bug killer used almost 3gals and now Im going to have to spray more . I CALLED TO CANCEL THE ***** OFFICE WAS NICE AND UNDERSTOOD BUT THE PROBLEM IS THE PEOPLE THEY SEND YOU TO TO CANCLE DO NOT NO HOW TO LISTEN IR SHUT UP AND JUST DO WHAT YOU ASK IT TOOK 2 HOURS ON THE ***** TO CANCEL AND NOT UNTILL I LOST IT AND REALL LOST IT DID THE PERSON DO WHAT I ASK SO ( DO NOT GET HOOKED INTO THIS COMPANY YOU WILL REGRET IT )Ecoshield Pest Solutions
