    This company is exactly as they advertise. The products are very good, mostly name brands. *********************** is on top of his business and gives personnel attention to details. One occasion when something I ordered was going to be sent later than I expected he emailed me to ask if this would be ok. I thought he was very nice to do that.

    Trainz.com has a great variety of Model Trains and layout supplies. They consistently ship quickly and I've never gotten the wrong item. They are my "Go-To" store as I build my layout....NICE JOB.

    Trainz is outstanding in selection and delivery. However, I don't believe in paying to become a "special customer" able to buy "preview" items. I spent almost $1,500 over the past few years. For N scale it's a decent amount. (money that comes hard these days) Maybe they should change their policy and treat loyal customers who spend a set amount, as "special customers"

    My order was accurate, complete and sent quickly. They have a good selection of items also. My only negative feedback is that they present a subscription ad frequently, which is highly annoying. Otherwise a great resource

    I am a *********** War train collector. I've been buying quite a few post war pieces from Trainz and for the most part I've been pleased. I buy only pieces that are advertised in Very Good, Excellent, or Like New condition. The rolling stock I've purchased has been pretty much as advertised. However, I bought a post war tender w/whistle that was advertised as in excellent condition a while back, and even though the outside appearance was in excellent condition, the internal DC converter and motor were not. The bracket holding the DC converter was rusted completely and detached from the frame weld and the converter unit was being thrown around inside of the tender during transit. This broke the field coil wire from the whistle motor off the underside of the motor winding, rendering the motor unusable. I had to replace the entire whistle motor and sound box entirely and had to reattach the converter. So, while I'll continue to purchase unpowered pieces from Trainz, I will shy away from purchasing any powered units in the future.

    My purchases have been very satisfactory. Although I have, at times, felt their shipping and handling was a bit high, their selection, pricing and prompt delivery have been excellent and are a good compensation on shipping and handling. When I had a problem with one purchase it was handled very fairly and much to my satisfaction. Hence: five stars.
