    It was the first time I used e-file. I have been using TurboTax and tired if paying fees. E-file was just as user friendly, actually better as I wasn't constantly prompted to buy more products!

    1 star review is being generous. I got an email from this company claiming to file my annual report for my buisness (which out of luck was due) so I got and file out there questioner and pay $200 dollars to supposedly file my report and I call to confirm its been filed and turns out that it hasnt and that this company is just stealing my hard earned money. I call and ask for a refund and the lady on the phone was acting very rude since the begging and making a big deal about me wanting my money back. You guys should be ashamed on what youre doing to people and especially us small business owners.

    Refund was the same as with turbotax but the price was much less expensive.

    I did exactly what the website said to do. My ripens were still rejected, the website has issues. I keep meticulous notes and more, I tried to call to cancel my taxes, the machine said my Zip Code wasn't recognized. I was sent an email on how to delete my information I tried that too didn't work. I'm sure I'll have to call the local news and post everything about it ********* I was charged $59.95 and my information was rejected by the **** should anyone be charged for above not rendered. I called the number listed is in Georgia, however the business is listed in *******, and all of my information was sent to *******? I'm afraid I'll never recover my $59.95 for trusting "efile". Shame on these scammers, I implore those of you reading this do not use this service. They have my information they should do the right thing and refund my money. I called the number, supplied all the required information, and it didn't recognize my zip code. I'm expecting a full refund of my hard earned money that was so easily taken and should be returned without a delay.In closing I used another service and I was finished in mere minutes with an anticipated refund, now tell me how that could be? E/file is a scam setup to get people's information. I hope readers share this and tell others, we've got to get the word out about these thieves. I have over 600 words left to write, the next person I email will be the Attorney General of **************, he'll put the screws to the scammers. It's shameful that anyone can open a website that steals information and then privacy resells it. I hope you made alot off of it, because your scam will be coming to an end very soon.

    I'm sorry for the difficulty you had with this. I looked at your account and it appears that you filed with us three times within approximately ******************************************************************************************************* PIN that matched what they show. Your AGI or PIN is what the *** requires in order to digitally sign a tax return and transmit it electronically. This is an *** requirement to protect against fraud and necessary whenever filing electronically. We cannot force the *** to accept a return when the taxpayer enters information that does not match their records. There are how to fix directions when you log into your account. Now, if you used the same program to then successfully file this year that you had used last year, it makes sense that the return would be accepted (since the software would have retained this information and entered it for you). We do that with our users to simplify the process and help eliminate user error.Our support specialists have already reached out and offered you a courtesy refund for your software purchase. If you need anything else, please do not hesitate to contact us.

    I did try and I also used the correct pin. Your company doesn't have anyone to answer the phone, both of my returns were accepted in the time it took me to figure out what y'all were doing charging people for taxes that arent actually accepted. Thank You and have a nice day.

    They said my return was rejected and I am not able to correct it. They have no support. I have tried to call numerous times and their system says the do not recognize my information. This seems to be a scam. I am out $30 and still have to go another company and pay to have my taxes filed. Now this company has my personal information. I have emailed and tried to call them with no response.

    I'm sorry if you had trouble with our telephone system. If you call from a phone number that is not associated with your account, this can sometimes cause problems. It looks like one of our support specialists has already responded to your email with information on how to correct and retransmit your return as well as offered you a full refund. For future reference, when a user enters information in error and the *** rejects their tax return, we provide them with information on how to fix it whenever they log back into their account.

    This is a really frustrating experience. I liked the software because it's one of the clearest, easiest I've found, but it wasn't til the end, lots of time making entries, etc, that it popped up I had to pay for filing. Like most others they have a set threshold, but it wasn't made clear, so I just paid it. Since I had switched companies (my extension was filed with another) they for some reason didn't automatically have that I had paid estimated Fed taxes, so I came up as owing, and now I'm going to get a penalty (probably) even though I overpaid. My bad for not remembering I efiled the extension elsewhere, so went back to e-file.com and ALL ****-x amended return, two paltry pages, are/start at $29.95. Almost ALL OTHER services like Turbo Tax, etc etc, offer free amended returns.But by far the WORST about e-file.com is the lack of real customer service. On their option to 'contact us' under 'help' it gave the times M-F eastern, so I missed it. Come Monday Oct 31 I logged in and it said phone lines closed, reopening Tuesday, so yesterday I logged in and THE ***** NUMBER HAD DISAPPEARED. I though I was going crazy or there was a glitch so I logged out and logged back in. Nothing. Monday 31st was not a holiday (Halloween??) All of this, shady. This company obviously does not want to be bothered by you. After paying, that *****.There is email customer service and I did receive 2 out of 3 answers, but with multiple nuanced questions unique to my Fed-State situation, I cannot get the help I need. I will go back to Tax Slayer like last year!

Shortly after this deadline passes, the *** stops accepting electronic tax returns and our software is updated for the next tax filing season. This year, this change took place between Oct 31st - Nov 1st, this is the reason you saw these messages when you attempted to click on the telephone support link. I am very sorry for the confusion with this. Please let us know if you need any additional assistance.

    I filed Oct 16 before the deadline. I needed customer support after that, and there was no phone number on the site anymore nor anywhere I could find searching the web.Someone emailed me after my submission at least. A phone number is critical however.

    Our records show that your return was transmitted and accepted the same day that you prepared it, so I'm not sure what you are referencing here. You prepared and transmitted your tax return with us on June 15, 2022. Both the Federal and ********** returns that you prepared were accepted at around 3:55pm eastern that day. Our system sends automated emails with this information. If you did not see this email, it is possible that Yahoo (your email client) mis-sorted it into your junk/spam folder.
