I have been with Arise from 1.5 years. The pay is so low but people will take it if its a work from home job. You have to pay ***** per paycheck to them just for using their platform. They don't pay for training. You go 1 month without pay during training. They make you sing and dance like a puppet. They make you pay for equipment and background check. There has not been a single raise in those years. The systems are terrible. You get tech issues all the time and you are not paid for that time. They are just greedy scammy business. I hope they shut this place down. By the time my paycheck reaches me I can afford like rice and beans.

I have been working for Arise for 2 years now and recently, I have been working the coach client. Arise has not paid me for hours that I have worked several times now stating that they have no proof that I worked the hours that I have worked. If you want to get paid for your work, Arise Virtual solutions might not be the best option. They don't pay you for training which is fine with me, but when I start to work and they don't want to pay me for those hours, that becomes a huge problem for me. Honestly, I love working from home but arise makes it difficult when they don't pay you for hours that you have worked. I would give 0 stars if possible, but 1 is all they will get from me.

I have been an employee of Arise for over two years and I am a resident of ********. However, Arise recently decided to restrict services from my state, leaving me in a difficult situation. I specialize in servicing the Turbo Tax program and I was never informed that I could not continue doing so until today. This sudden change has left me in a challenging situation for the next four months. I find the actions of Arise to be highly unprofessional and it has significantly affected my life.

I was working for arise platform in 2022 and midsummer I went to go to work and come to find out ECS which is ******'s customer support shut ** down who said they never got paid by Arise in order to pay us employees under ECS. It was devastation a lot of employees were stranded without a lot of money after hard work. I don't know exactly what happened ECS stated they were not paid by Arise and no communication from Arise to help in understand the no pay. Either way ECS has neglected to pay multiple employees however many they had but I believe it was a lot and Arise never cared to even explain to us employees what officially happened so that was unprofessional and unethical. One day you're working the next day you're not and the work you did for approximately 3 weeks was for nothing that's all I can say about the company because it affected me a lot.

I was working for a specific client after spending 3 months doing verifications and training. About 2 months of working the company decided I needed to verify again but with a full application. Then, to confirm employment, they required 7 years of W2's. I had given them information of my self-employment, my license, etc. I was terminated because I wouldn't give them 7 years of my income via W2's and because their verification program wouldn't let me back in to take off the name "Arise" for my current employer, which I would have been happy to change. I recently went in to see if there are other clients I would like to work for and I have been blocked from accessing opportunities completely. It seems harsh and unreasonable.

I have been working with Arise since May 2023. To be honest I don't find it bad at all. Like every other job as long as you are following the client requirements you will have no issue. Yes they do review calls and all they are trying to do is give the customers the best customer services. I don't always score the best I have my days but when I see things not going well I go meeting to review the process and improve my score again. Before joining Arise I reviewed how much taxes will be taken out and I just put it aside. It has plenty of hours for me choose from. The pay might average out to be less after taxes but it is very convenient to work from home. I work under an IBO which does a great job staying on top of things. I do have access to my background check and if I select the option to have it email they also do send it. If I have any issue they are corrected so far I have no complaints and I am happy to be a Arise employee.

Absolutely worst company ever. Every single call center comes through Arise platform. Yet they do not accept applications from ******** residents. I think it is unfair practices and they should be held liable.

Where do I start, all I have to say to anyone who wants to try this out dont do it. I learned the hard way that this company is a Scam. Their whole set up is scammy, once you give them all your personal info for a back ground check. They dont give you a copy of your background check which they should by law. They are not transparent about pay and how the pay works. Once you work for 1 of the companies on their platform.! From what I see arise pays the call center which would be you if you have a llc. And I pay my agents if I had any Or they have another payroll company they use. But its not the company you are an agent working for that pays you.! Basically I didnt get paid my full amount working for a client called agero roadside assistance. Which is 1 of their worst companies all of their customers are angry people because of the lack of professionalism. As a new agent they expect someone to work and deal with a******* and not get paid properly. I was supposed to get paid in training. I didnt due to arise systems shutting down and not working. I sent emails, asking to speak to someone about payroll and the background check etc no one contacted me. And If you have any issues or problems they expect you to contact a robot and not a real person. When you ask questions or tell the robot whats going on with payroll or other program issues&problems. the robot cant answer you, but they have people emailing you about how bad or good youre doing. but none can help you with anything else! Lol. The arise platform is a joke, Im mad at myself for not reading their reviews and seeing how many people had bad experiences.! So to anyone else do not use this platform they are stealing personal info they do not provide copies of the background checks. They have none to discuss anything with you about the business and what to expect. Whatever you read when you visit the site is all a lie only dummies work on Arise platform! They need to be shut down to be honest

The Craigslist ad said they'd pay $12.50 an hour as a contractor. For those of you who think that this pay rate is acceptable, consider that the Federal Government will hit you for 15.3% self employment tax at the end of the year (this covers Social Security withholding and Medicare-both which are normally withheld from your paycheck were you a regular employee). ADDITIONALLY, you will be hit by the IRS for the tax rate that you would normally pay on your adjusted gross income (AGI) at the end of the year; you can check the prevailing rate and way to calculate +/- what you might owe here: **************** (I get nothing for publishing that link-I just think that most contractors will jump for joy thinking that they, like a doordash/uber driver, are outsmarting the fed and not having to pay anything until Uncle Sam knocks at your door at the end of the tax year, and then everyone starts complaining about the Fed....Dooooh!) For me, 15.3% self-employment tax PLUS the 12% tax bracket (don't forget to also add any State Income Tax rate if applicable) add up to 27.5% of all income from ARISE would go to taxes. So were I to earn their minimum of 15 hours in a week for two weeks (their two-week pay cycle at $12.50 an hour) I'd gross $375. The FED will be taking their 27.5% which is $103.13 leaving me with $271.87. They charge ~$59 per pay cycle for payroll etc. (which is reasonable-but they should be taking this out of their profit, not your pay), so the NET pay that I could actually use would be only $212.87 for 30 hours worked. Divide this figure and you get $7.10 an hour! IF YOU HAVE NO OTHER OPTION TO EARN $$$, THEN THIS IS BETTER THAN NOTHING. But with the stiff competition from others like yourself for the few opportunities AND that stupid $59 payroll processing fee and the $20 No Show training fee per opportunity, AND the minimum equipment required (find on eBay for cheap) I'd suggest looking elsewhere.
