  Very happy with the product. Had the storm shades for the lanai installed a few years ago and they held up very well during Hurricane *** so decided to get them for all the windows too.Also the process from the sales representative to the office staff down to the installer all went smoothly. Highly recommend this company.

  We have nothing good to say about Storm Smart and we have had nothing but trouble and disappointment with their awful product. When we built our custom home 4 years ago, we contracted with Storm Smart to install roll-down bug screens and Sunbrella fabric screens around our lanai which required a double roll installation at a cost of over $30,000. The first problem we encountered with their product and installation was that lawn debris and insects entered the lanai from the open gaps existing at the bottom of the screens. Storm Smart came out, but were unable to fix the problem. They charged us for this and we paid. Then, what started to happen was some of the screens would not completely roll up on the spindle when we opened them, which left fabric drooping down from the top of the spindles....which was very unsightly. Storm Smart came out (twice), but was unable to fix. They charged us for this each time and we paid. The next condition we noticed was that the Sunbrella fabric became very wrinkled and unsightly....and of course, they could not fix. The final straw for us was when some of the screens would not roll up without stopping and getting stuck mid-way. Again, they could not fix that completely.....they charged us for this and we paid. Finally we gave up on their product completely and called them out to remove the screens...which they did...then, to our surprise, they invoiced us $950 for the removal. We called Storm Smart accounting and asked them to reconsider the charge to remove their inferior product and their reply was: If you don't pay, we will send the matter to collections!

  We just finished up with having Storm Smart install three Roll-Down Shutters doors. Our experience was a totally positive one! From the sales person, *******, to the install team, ***** and ****, working with in conjunction with the two electricians, ***** and ***. They all did a fantastic job!!! ***** and **** were here two different days. They worked very efficiently together. They were precise, pleasant, fast and clean! They were a super duo!! I would definitely ask for these two back again, if we were to have any more work done! We are sold on Storm Smart! The price was right. The product is impressive. The people were stellar! All five of these people were Top Notch and knew exactly what they were doing!We could not be happier with this whole experience!! :)

  Great sales staff who worked with us to find the perfect solutions for each opening. The installation staff did a great job installing our screens and shutters. He always kept the work area clean and did a great job installing the products. He then properly explained the operation of the products to us.

  We've had two terrible experiences with Storm Smart starting in 2010 when we initially had hurricane protection installed. I still have all my notes. No one asked me for my opinion then and it's taken this long for them to ask my opinion now, six months after they finally installed a replacement for the front door, which we were not able to use. The front door protection was installed 10 feet over the door which had to be rolled up and down manually requiring two able body people to do, each on ladders. We are in our 70's and 80's. We complained several times. During Ian our front door kept blowing inward so we had to drop the protection shield down. We have some young neighbors who brought their ladders and rolled it back up after the hurricane. That's when I called Storm Smart again to complain and tell them about the door protection that several of our neighbors have, the accordion doors. On 9/11/23 A person came out and offered the accordion door which cost us just under an additional $5000.. Why wasn't this offered to begin with? We never got a satisfactory answer. On 9/29 they took measurements. Sometime between 9/29 and 11/27 they came out to install but couldn't because the doors were the wrong size. 11/27 appointment cancelled, 12/1 appointment cancelled, 12/2 appointment cancelled, 12/20 they just showed up, installed the doors, took our final payment and left. I had to clean up but didn't really care because the doors were finally in. Hopefully we will never need them, but if we do at least we know we can open and close them ourselves. I definitely would not recommend Storm Smart.
