DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!! I unfortunately I fell for the scam because the "free trip" was gifted to me by a reputable travel agent. I was told that all I had to do was pay the ************ to validate my free trip certificate to ****** by paying $196.20 (taxes) for my room worth over $1200. I did as my husband's 50th bday was coming up and this would serve as a cost effective solution to show him a decent time during the uncertainty for many in this financial climate. After I paid I was sent an email and text stating on top of the money already paid that I had only 72hrs to pay ANOTHER $200 for resort fees or my reservation would be canceled...THEN I would receive a call from their representative to speak about: amenities, upgrades and all inclusive add-ons....wait what, I feltlike I was being extorted? So I contacted them back and was told that there were no refunds...really????. I told them that I would stop payment via my banking institution and then review them on EVERY SINGLE SOCIAL MEDIA OUTLET I could find. I was then told that they would refund my money in **** business days...when it only took **** seconds for them to take it!!!! This was something I tried to get done before Christmas to present to my spouse. Now Im out of a trip and almost $200 right before Christmas. PLEASE DO NOT DO IT!!!!!! I hope that I even get a refund the way the reviews turned out!!! I should have done my due diligence. ****** learned that's for sure!

My vacation was called complimentary. That wasn't true. I had to pay an "activation fee." They didn't say anything about then having to pay a "resort fee" once I made my reservation, but suddenly they were asking for that. I paid. Then I had to "complete a welcome call from the concierge." Then I got an email asking me to change my dates. Then when I was on the phone with them, they said they would ask about a split stay between two properties that would still get me to the hotel I wanted. Then they wanted me to change my hotel to a fancier resort which was not walking distance to anything and was not in the area I wanted to be, which was in a small fishing village. And then I realized that at these other hotels they really want to sell you on an all-inclusive package for food and drinks. After being jerked around, we asked for a refund on everything. What kind of travel company asks you to change literally everything about your stay the week before you are supposed to go??? Anyone who says what a great time they had doesn't seem to understand that calling something complimentary and then asking for more and more money is called bait and switch - and it's supposed to be illegal. What kind of people use 8 Billion Trees as a front to sell a vacation, and then ask for even more money for surprise resort fees that they didn't tell you about when you first bought them?? Scammers. I'm also betting some of these positive reviews are fake. They could probably make a mint as a legitimate company. I was on the phone with them almost in tears, asking them "Why are you doing this to me? Your ruining my vacation." They literally could not care less. It's just what they do.

I am Very upset about this program. We Had to pay $200 upfront to even get the voucher. Every time we went into the account to choose specific dates only a few ************** were available for booking. We finally picked dates & hotel that we liked and I was then required to pay $162.50 for Resort fees. This was all before I could even confirm my stay. I assumed this would be an all inclusive resort but now Im waiting on a call to tell me about MORE fees that will need to be added to my vacation to enjoy the other amenities. This is not a what it was presented to be. I am no longer Interested and very disappointed.

Good idea; terrible product.(Based on the reviews I am seeing, there is no way it can have four stars. I understand some people have had good luck and have saved, but overall, it's not reasonable.)There are so many limitations on the overall options that it isn't worth the trouble. I bought my voucher through 8 Million Trees but still had to pay fees when doing so, ultimately costing me over $100 at that time. Then I booked in the hopes of using my voucher for a work trip. However, I don't get a lot of notice with those and literally will only be using 2 days of my 3 day voucher because they have a 30 day booking advance warning. It has to be after 30 days. I won't be coming back for the rest of the year, meaning I lose a day.On top of that, I needed a Friday night. Those have an added $40 cost. I only did this because I had already sunk money into it. I checked online, however- the hotel it provided me (very few options for a touristy city) equals to the costs I have paid. I don't doubt more fees will somehow find me, meaning this entire affair cost me more money and time than it was worth.I understand I had limitations, but they were inflexible with unhospitable strictures. Overall, will be saving myself the stress next time and avoiding them.
