Excellent service! Used them to store items for a house reno for 6 months...service was excellent, timely and friendly. There was an issue with the width of our driveway and they called and got it sorted out. Highly recommend!

If I could rate less than 1 star, I would. I had a move planned and coordinated one pod, at the end of last year, to be placed at my address to start loading items for the move. I rented it and eventually had another delivered as we were preparing to move. Once the move happened, PODS decided to charge a different, much higher amount for the move. Even though it was "in state", since the move was over 50 miles, they stated that they had to charge more to have it shipped to a different facility, instead of just taking it the 2 hours from one house to the other. There was also an extra delivery fee from the new storage facility (which was farther away than the actual destination), to the new address. The estimated time to delivery jumped a whole extra week, after they'd already picked it up, and I learned that the initial person who scheduled it had also done so while removing the included insurance for my belongings. When asked why and if they could restore it, they said their policy was to not do so after the pod's initial delivery and that it could have only been removed at the customer's **********************. As we only dealt with them over the phone and I did not "demand" that they remove the included insurance, my belongings are currently still a week out, at the whims of a company that is condescending to my concerns, half the time, and keeps adding more issues and costs as we go. Because the weather is quickly heating up and instead of a few days, my items will now be in the containers for 2 weeks, with no insurance, it will be interesting to see what comes back into my possession unbroken or melted (again, I was told that they'd be delivered quickly so items that wouldn't be good in the heat were included in the packing.PODS Moving & Storage

This company is awful and should be shut down for incompetence. The people that work there do not know how to do their jobs and will overcharge you by tens of thousands of dollars and then claim it's not a problem because they refund you yet your bank puts holds on your account of you get charged overdraft fees because the money is so much so it takes weeks to get access back to your money so you aren't able to pay for anything else in the meantime. Their customer service representatives are also rude and mock and laugh at your situation because they don't care. Avoid them at all costs!!!!PODS Moving & Storage

Everything was great except for one major hiccup that ruined my experience. When it was delivered back to my house we unloaded a portion before needing to leave the house. Went to put the door down and it was stuck off of the track. We tried everything to get it closed. I called and was told they could come help me the next day, despite the fact that we couldn’t close it and it was full of valuable items, left wide open, in my driveway. I asked for someone to come out sooner and even asked if someone local could just FaceTime me so I could show them the issue and they could walk me through how to fix it. Nope. I was assured I would receive a call back from the local person. Nope. It remained that way all night. Terrible customer service. It was super unfortunate since otherwise it was a pretty slick system.PODS Moving & Storage

Moved my child from college to home last July. He bought a house last month. I used PODS to pick and store the apartment contents for 10 months. I checked and at the time and found that self storage was comparably priced. And with the PODS, it saved having to unpack and pack the PODS again. I called and arranged for delivery at the new house. Arrived as planned, driver was very professional and helpful. Then once we finished the unpacking of the PODS, they returned to pick it up as planned. I made the pick up arrangements online, didn't need to speak with anyone. Again, driver was on time and professional. Nothing was damaged, etc. once we unpack. It looked exactly like it did when we packed it 10 months ago, no smells or damage, etc. I also used PODS several years ago to move my son from one college to another and my experience then was the same. Arrived as planned, very professional. I definitely would recommend them to anyone.PODS Moving & Storage

So satisfied with PODS. Everyone I spoke to was so helpful. I moved last year from ****** to ********* with a supposed professional moving company and they destroyed my belongings and horrible customer service. I just moved my mom from ****** to ********* and used PODS I wish I had done this for my move. We just were just finishing when the PODS driver (***** *********) called and asked if I wanted him to pick up sooner since he was in the area. I was very happy since the pod was almost empty. ***** was very polite and so helpful, A pleasure doing business with PODS. I will ******** recommend to anyone wanting to move.
