All of the following occurred within the last TWO years. Years ago I installed the app for ad block. Being told that this was free, I subscribed. At some point it became $1.99 a month which I agreed to. It worked pretty well until most recently, when ads do not appear to be blocked at all.Within a year to two years I canceled the subscription. So in total: (1) subscribed, (2) unsubscribed, (3) resubscribed. However, I started noticing charges of $9.99 a month. In between I noticed numerous charges of $29.99 monthly for quite some time. I also see one charge of $38.99. This has been going on for a long time now. At least two years as my bank statement reads. I have not authorized any of this and I am not sure why it is so difficult to be able to contact support/assistance/customer service to resolve the problem. What I do see on my bank statement is that there had been an adjustment credit provided in the amount of $29 on 9/20/23 from a 9/11/23 withdrawl. However I began to be charged on 10/26/23 and 10/27/23 the amounts of $39 and $38 respectively. I apologize for the convoluted nature of providing dates. Earlier there was an adjustment of $9.95 on 8/8/22 only to again be charged on 10/11/22 for $2.99 and every month thereafter for $9.95. I also have two recent charges to my credit card in the amount of $9.95 and $39.99. Banking account and credit card statements can be provided if needed. The thought of wasting more time by having to do so is infuriating. But for time's sake I will accept $170 in refund s. But I expect NO CHARGES ANY LONGER, WHATSOEVER. I want my money refunded. The completely unnecessarily complicated nature of subscriptions is ridiculous. This is incredibly poor business practice, particularly, as reviews indicate, have not been resolved. There are plenty of others who provide far better service (streamligning any problems / issues, navigating the website) at lower costs and headaches. Shame on you, AdBlock. I was charged $155 for an account I do not have. I received an email stating I would be refunded my $155. It stated I needed to follow thru and cancel this account I dont have. When I try to cancel it says I am a seven day free trial account. The website does not provide a cancellation option. I NEVER authorized this charge. I had to pay a $30 stop payment fee to my bank. Total Adblock then went through my pay pal account and took the $155. I am a senior and on a fixed income.Business Response

I haven't use total adblock in months. I have consistently requested that they canceled my service. It has cost me several overdraft fees because of this and I'm very angry. I'm sick of them taking my money. They don't live up to their claim. They haven't refunded any of my money. Three months in a row I have requested a cancelation and a refund! No cancelation. No refund. I have 3 months worth of overdraft fees and charges of $9.95. ****** notified me again. I have never hated a company so much. I'd like to have you forget my name. I'm tired of rotten businesses. Please get them to finally cancel my account and now I want my money back from the months I have requested it canceled. I'd like to have my overdraft fees too but that's probably not going to happen. It should!Business Response

On August 5, 2024 I ordered Total Adblock for my computer. When I got the info on how to activate it; I found that it isnt compatible with ****** so I immediately cancelled it only to find that I was charged $19 that same date. I have been trying to contact them by phone only to find the number has been changed, or the phone number they give me keeps ringing and no one answers. In June I canceled my subscription to adblock because the price went from $9.95 I think it was to $14.99 without any notice It was being paid through ****** and I contacted them to cancel it I now see they have taken it from my checking account directly and this was not authorized plus I canceled the subscription last month. I ordered their service on 25 July. I was double charged. I attempted to contact a live person to explain, but their automated system did not allow this. So I sent them an email, and I finally got a response stating that they had no record of me at all!Business Response

I have a subscription with Total Adblock that I have asked them to cancel. They continue to charge my credit card $9.95 every month. The last charge was in May and the latest on June 11th. I would like them to stop charging me and refund the June 11th to my card.Business Response
