    Accurate Background just delayed the start date for my new job by three weeks. After several follow *** to what I believe was a call center in *****, I contacted the local entity in question myself and found that Accurate Background had submitted the county records request to the incorrect contact. (This had evidently happened to several dozen other people as well). Oddly enough, when I called Accurate Background, they claimed to have made follow up calls but were limited on the calls that the entity in question allowed them to make. (This was not true). The entity in question also informed me that a county records check takes less than one day to obtain.

    Told my background check would be completed within 24 hours. It's been 4 days and now it's going to take 7 to 10 more days. All for a part time cashier job.

    Horrible! Ive had to do background checks at a couple of very tight places, never had a problem and this is HORRIBLE! They CONSTANTLY need more and more documents and state its not good enough! Are you serious? I couldnt upload more documents and the employer was getting alittle concerned on me when it was Accurate that was dropping the ball, NEVER responding to my emails and giving very vague info on what to do. Ive even called and I dont believe theyre even in the ***** Are you kidding me? This is sensitive information!!!! They also want me to all the legwork when its the background companys to do it? Why ***** this company been investigated? This company needs to close their doors immediately

    Been waiting over a week now for my background check to be completed and is still not done. Any other time I've done a background check it's been 3 days tops and then I'm starting the job within that week. This is caused the delay in my employment. This is very frustrating and the excitement of starting a new job that's getting the lady even more as well.

    They truly are horrible, they delayed my employment 3 different times. They did not meet their 10 day deadline , or their 15 day deadline, and now pushed it out 22 days and counting. I think they are ***** and the more eager you seem to be for results the slower they drag their feet. The agents get a kick out of hearing you stress while they tell you its in progress and we cant give any information. I lied and said perfect delay it longer so I can enjoy a vacation and I can tell the agent was so annoyed and bitter that I did not sound stressed out,Deep down I am pist off and stressed out. They are incompetent, unorganized, *****, and fake. There should be a class action lawsuit for all the people who have had employment offers delayed or revoked because the accurate stupidity.

    I've never seen a background check last more than a week like this. **************** team has no ability to contact the team processing my background. Zero updates and taking way longer than any other services I've used in the past.

    Waiting... Waiting... Waiting... And more freaking waiting for my background to clear. Are y'all short staffed? Do y'all need help? I'll clock in and work, because y'all don't. How dare y'all mess with people's livelihood and take forever to clear background checks. Y'all need to cease to exist since you don't help anyways. I believe the Reddit reviews on what they're saying about Accurate. Y'all shouldn't be called "Accurate". More like, "Trash-curate." That sounds better.

    Im about to be left homeless because of this company.. its been a month and they cant give me any information on whats going on. Ive done background check in the past and the longest it took was 2 days. They dont even try to help all they say is sorry itll be done soon.

    Worst company ever! How are they still in business?! I have waited 2 months! And my background check has not cleared. I quit my job the right way, with a 2 week notice. So I could start this new job but little did I know that it was going to affect me in the worst way. I am not financially suffering from this. I cannot work without the background check being cleared. I have a clean record. No criminal history. **************** is trash. Every single time Ive reached out they have different answers as to why its taking long.
