I just had a terrible experience withI just had a terrible experience with GoDaddy that literally cost my business money and yet I still have not received an apology, and my issue still hasn't been fixed. I use GoDaddy to host our family business website. A few weeks ago, I paid $90 for a 14-day back up feature. Since I was going to be doing updates on my site, I invested this money (while I'm unemployed) for peace of mind. Low and behold, my website went down to some errors during our updates. But, I was fine right? I had a back-up.Wrong! When I went to back up option, it was "missing" I called GoDaddy to find out what was going on. They said they never activated the 14-day backup even though I paid for it. When I complained to the customer service representative and explained to him that as a result, we have outdated content on our site due to an older back-up. He never apologized and said "our developers will do what they can do and that's it.." He remained silent when I asked him questions and then, all of a sudden, he hung up on me!! I called back and supposedly spoke with a manager. No apology - she promised me I would get an email from GoDaddy by end of day to get back up. I never received an email so I had to call back and waste more time and speak to another "Manager". This new manager texted me hours later after I was told I would be able to speak with a rep. *** said I couldn't call them, everything had to be done via text. I had to spend over an hour texting long streams of texts explaining AGAIN what happened. Our site is still outdated - still waiting for back-up and still losing money. Terrible experience. I feel stuck because what can i do at this point? Just wait and keep losing business. My wife couldn't believe it. *** heard my conversation with the rep and found him to be so rude and sarcastic. We are a family owned business and just getting by. We need help and GoDaddy treated us like garbage.GoDaddy.com LLC

Don't purchase domains from Go Daddy. If you cancel your domain and they have already billed you for two years, you will not get a refund unless you request one within 5 days of the transaction. When they send you the confirmation transaction of cancelled domains, no where on that email is there any statement letting you know that a refund must be requested within 5 days.Terrible business practices. I just purchased new domains and I did not use Go Daddy.GoDaddy.com LLC

***** at Godaddy will not close my account like I told them in early Oct or late Sep. CLOSED MEANS CLOSED SO THAT AN ACCOUNT INQUIRY RETURNS
'NO SUCH ACCOUNT FOUND" OR A SIMILAR MESSAGE.
I SUSPECT A COMPLAINT WITH THE ** ATTORNEY GENERAL WILL AT LEAST GET SOMEONES ATTENTION AT GODADDY AND MAYBE MY ACCOUNT CLOSED TOO.GoDaddy.com LLC

This company has charged me twice for the same exact service, and refuses to provide a refund. They do not let me speak to a supervisor. They are always too busy to help apparently and have been charging me three different times a year when a bundle price was already offered. That was only supposed to be one payment a year. this is truly an unethical company, and I hope the Better Business Bureau does something to stop their business practices Before more people lose their money. If anybody reads this, please be advised this company will take your money directly out of your account and tell you that you were the one that authorized them to do it and they will not refund you anything.GoDaddy.com LLC

I have been a long standing customer for years. I noticed I was charged twice for the same service in August (less than 2 1/2 months ago). I called to get a credit for the difference. The first customer service rep told me the charge was for two different products when it clearly stated it was for the same service. I went to explain and she spoke over me not allowing me to get a word in. I asked for a manager and she told me she would not be transferring me that she knew what she was talking about and put me on mute. Instead of hanging up, I called the company on another phone. She left me on mute and finally hung up. On the other phone, I spoke with another rep who apologized however said she couldn't help me because I didn't call within 30 days to get refunded for the overcharge. She gave me an email address to email her manager and report my issue however I have not heard anything back. She gave me an email address. It did not sound like it was the correct information so I decided to share this experience online. This is the worst customer service I've ever received from them.GoDaddy.com LLC

I have been a customer for years ******************** has forced 2 factor authentication and the number they have is old. I cannot access my account have filled out the request to disable 2 factor authentication and send Identification which they claim will take only 72 hrs to review. Well yesterday made 72 hours and after I sent them an email they replied'Hello,Thank you for your online submission. We have not yet reviewed your request, but we will be getting in touch with you soon. Once your reply has been reviewed, well let you know if we need anything else or if youre good to go.Regards,Account Recovery Team Today I still don't have access to manage my company website or email BUT they can send me emails saying its time renew my domain. I will be transferring my domain to another provider and use ********* directly for my email. My business with Godaddy is over with and I will not recommend anyone do business with them. I am completely disappointed with Godaddy service. I have purchased website creation and marketing service from them. Previously i have built my own website using the go daddy portal. I liked it very much but didn't have the time to add additional pages and optimize it for max *********** I hired the go daddy team and i have to say i am so disappointed with them. Any human being with half a brain could do what they did. I provided them with plethora of images from projects i have created in the past and they couldnt even match provided pictures and corresponding subpages instead leaving them with some completely unrelated stock images.I am so disappointed in my self as well since they took the money and i trusted them. I call this business deceptive unprofessional and lazy.despite the fact that they didint do much i was left with so much to do by my self. I am a business owner and when i pay someone to create me a webpage i am expecting a finished product not some half assed excuse of a website.GoDaddy.com LLC

Always read their print, be aware of what product you buy Check all of your subscription. Purchase a Poynt terminal, product is literally garbage. Charged me 450 for it. I was under the assumption that there is 250 statement credit, but apparently, you cannot setup your merchant account before buying the terminal. What a joke. Buy the terminal and setup the merchant account. Why would anyone do that ? You simply don't know if you want to go with a different POS solution. Stay aware, that is why Square is always better.
