Godaddy used to have good online products and services, now these things are overpriced and often have serious problems and glitches. Further, their customer service was high quality with associates who took ownership of issues and problems and you always got to speak to people in *****************. Now you speak to people in third world countries who don't care about resolving issues and plod through phone calls likes lifeless drones. Take your business elsewhere. Godaddy no longer reflects honest reliable business practices. That being said, they do give good headache.GoDaddy.com LLC

Unethical Business Practices and Customer Exploitation I recently had a deeply troubling experience with GoDaddy, a company that claims to provide domain and hosting services. Unfortunately, my encounter revealed a darker side to their operations a blatant disregard for customer trust and outright theft.Despite the promises of transparency and fair dealings, GoDaddy has engaged in what can only be described as stealing from its users. I discovered unauthorized charges on my account, cleverly disguised under vague terms and hidden in the fine print. It's disheartening to see a company resorting to such underhanded tactics to bolster its profits.Customer service, or lack thereof, only compounded my frustration. Attempts to resolve the issue were met with indifference and a dismissive attitude. It's clear that GoDaddy prioritizes its bottom line over the well-being of its customers, leaving them feeling betrayed and taken advantage of.In an era where trust is paramount in online transactions, GoDaddy's actions are not only unethical but also damaging to its reputation. I strongly caution anyone considering their services to think twice before entrusting their business or personal endeavors to a company that resorts to stealing from its own users.GoDaddy.com LLC

We thank you for sharing your candid feedback. While we empathize with your billing frustration, our records indicate you had not reached out to our 24/7 ************* team for assistance. It appears GoDaddy automatically renewed a domain name registration within your account in accordance with your account preferences. Automatic renewals are discussed in GoDaddy's Universal Terms of Service agreement; an agreement you acknowledged and accepted upon doing business with GoDaddy.GoDaddy provides its customers with full control over renewal preferences. They may, at any time, log into their account and modify those preferences. GoDaddy does not arbitrarily change the automatic renewal setting on our customers' behalf; account management is a customer responsibility. We encourage you to review and manage your account settings to prevent further unwanted renewals. We also welcome the opportunity to connect with you in the hopes of resolving any outstanding concerns and can be reached at ************************************************Review fromDavid m

I am a small business that is a little over 1 a year old. I tried to use their new invoice program for my customers, figuring this would make things easier and speed up chasing after checks. After going through their required steps, including vetting my bank account. I had my first customer send an payment. It was received, no issues. When I went to go ahead and get the money moved to my bank account, it was denied. said my bank account was a risk factor..even though they already vetted it. They offered me two solutions, return the money to the customer or wait 90 days and then they would send it to my bank account. Both actions would require them to take ANOTHER 2.3% of the invoice. So, I lost over $160 for nothing. I tried to contact GoDaddy to ask why, what was the risk, but I was never able to talk to a HUMAN. I believe I kept getting AI responses over emails. Wouldn't it make sense for GoDaddy to vet the bank account properly, before they start accepting payments?GoDaddy.com LLC

This is not an organization that believes in free enterprise. I have a nonprofit that works with homeless to get their finances together to get out of the cycle of transitional housing. They took issue with one of our services (credit repair). Bad credit follows homeless folks who occur fines for living, who try to hold jobs but cant. Godaddy has no exceptions for homeless organizations that are trying to remove financial obstacles out of the way of poor people trying to change their lives for the good. GoDaddy seem to hate the homeless and want to take measures of self determination from homeless folks and lock them in an endless cycle of charity and crisis relying on a welfare state instead of supporting systems of mutual aid. Stay away from GoDaddy. Their sexist advertising should have been out first clue. The company also lacks transparency and you cannot reach the department that is determining how nonprofits organize their campaigns.GoDaddy.com LLC

This is especially true when GoDaddy Payments is being utilized. I opened a account with this company to be able to tale payments. I called their customer services number and asked them if a high amount in one transaction was going to be a problem. A representative told me it wasnt going be a issue with anything. As soon as I did my first transaction they put me on hold and made me go through a full process. 5 days later they closed my account and offered me a refund. They also charged me for the processing fees to get the money back to my customer. And to end the story they took 5-7 business days to turn the money. I lost my customer and a lot of money because of this company.GoDaddy.com LLC

We have a business account, and a Storefront with hundreds of domains. On 11/16/23, our company email for all employees were placed into an ************************** called **********. Apparently something ********* is forcing on Email Essential clients uncertain if true This caused the spam score acceptance level to raise and we stopped receiving company emails from our software, *********, etc.Friday morning we couldnt figure out what was going on and why huge batches of customer support and new service requests were no longer coming in.We called into customer service. That experience is terrible. Overseas help can't understand you, they are not trained in these matters and tell you anything to get off the phone.8 hours later dealing with this, I finally get to an overseas manager. Zero empathy, zero understanding of the business livelihood in question. She tells me we have to pay $973 to switch email accounts, back to what we originally had, and there was no way around it. So, this was GoDaddy blaming ********* for pushing Proofpoint on us, and saying to go back to our previous setup, we had to pay for new accounts. Also, that the 9 accounts we had renewed in the last 30 days for $700+ were just wasted, as we had to renew ALL our accounts today for one year. So, out of panic I pay the money to get back email back into our inboxes. What this person didnt make us aware of, is they deleted our email accounts when we did this and left us stranded. So, I literally have been trying to reset all my employees email accounts this entire evening, and am typing this with still no access to my email and the years of history.Words cannot describe the anger I feel. This company is holding my business hostage. Making me pay a $1000 to have the worst business day of my life. This was incompetence, extortion and flat out terrible business practice.FAIR WARNING FOR ANY SMALL BUSINESS CONSIDERING CHOOSING THIS COMPANY TO HOST YOUR EMAIL. RUN FOR YOUR LIFE!GoDaddy.com LLC

GoDaddy set up my Credit card processing without any problems and after one week decided that my new company was risky and refused to transfer my payments which is over $1000. Its now two months and GoDaddy has still not given me my payments. They have shutdown my processing and I moved to a new company and I am yet to receive my funds transferred to GoDaddy. They have continually refused to give any reason for withholding my funds only citing Credit Card confidentiality. This decision by GoDaddy is arbitrary and discrimination. I think they only reason I am subject to this behaviors is because I have an African name and in many quarters African names are associated with scamming .I can think of no other reason for this treatment by GoDaddy.GoDaddy.com LLC
