      NOT GOOD SERVICE if you have anything but a basic question. Tech support is stubborn (want to do it their way), unhelpful, do not listen to the customer, and not knowledgeable about difficult issues. Refuse to escalate unless pressed and even then not. Once escalated, never a return call like promised. Expect to use, and pay, your own, local tech support person to figure out something GoDaddy should help you with.

      GoDaddy is absolutely the WORST company to use for anything!! They never answer their phone and after answering one of my calls...the guy puts me on hold again...now for probably over an hour and didn't even tell me...I am so sorry I ever used GoDaddy and I am now going to take everything from hosting my emails etc out of their hands so I never have to speak with them again!!

      GoDaddy is one of the worst companies Ive ever dealt with. Originally I was a media temple customer, but when ********************** acquired them everything went down hill fast. Personally, I think they should be put in federal prison for the poor quality of their products, and how awful their support is. The level of incompetence at GoDaddy is second only to the US government.

      Biggest scam I have ever had to deal with. I canceled everything in 2021, including the card I had used to pay, and all of a sudden the fraudsters took a renewal fee from my bank-which has been reported to and is being dealt with by the fraud department. When I attempted to contact someone, I was on the line for 3 full hours, to be told that I have to get into the cancelled email, and numerous other steps that the guy I was talking to supposedly did, in order to get my money-that they weren't authorized to take-refunded. This outfit gets a zero out of 5 from me, which wasn't an option

      Tried to cancel my GoDaddy service, which I've kept going for years, with no help on their part. They are very happy to take $300+ per year, yet their customer service is outsourced overseas...which is ok, generally, but not here...you can't understand them at all and I couldn't even get them to provide me a cancelation transaction number at all over the phone. Worthless service. Go somewhere else.

      Its impossible to transfer a domain AWAY from this place. They raise your price every year and make it IMPOSSIBLE to move away. I just spent over an hour on their customer support chat and the person had me send them screenshots of my screen. I jumped through the hoops to transfer my domain and then an hour later I get a message that my transfer (that went through) was canceled due to Express written objection to the transfer from the Transfer Contact. (E.g - email, fax, paper document or other processes by which the Transfer Contact has expressly and voluntarily objected through opt-in means). I never wrote any objection. I specifically wanted to transfer AWAY. They just want to keep charging people outrageous fees and wont give them a way to transfer to another registrar like other services do. Horrible, horrible service.

      Unfortunately, while GoDaddy is a well-known web hosting and domain registration company, my experience with their SEO services is that they offer only basic SEO tools, these are often limited in scope and ABSOLUTELY DO NOT provide the comprehensive optimization needed to rank highly on search engine results pages (SERPs). Also, GoDaddys lack of experienced SEO professionals lead to false claims of research about my business/website and were ABSOLUTELY DO NOT able to provide personalized advice or support necessary to maximize my websites potential. For businesses looking for professional help with their digital marketing efforts, I highly suggest look elsewhere for an experienced and reputable SEO provider.

      If I could give negative stars I would. My job has used godaddy for years to host a domain name and email forwarding. Just last week, godaddy switched their email over to ********* which started a huge chain reaction. Our email wasn't working - all people emailing would get a bounceback and each customer service agent I spoke to (about 8 in 3 days) gave me a different explanation as to why it stopped working and supposedly "fixed it". It was never fixed and each new agent told me something else until the last one told me that they cancelled the emails on my account because they no longer offer it. This wasn't true and didn't even make sense as my account clearly said I was subscribed for 3 more months. Completely useless so we had to cancel. It was absolutely infuriating that none of the customer service reps could give a straight answer and while I appreciate live chat since phone wait times were really long, it took a ridiculous amount of time for certain agents to respond and then there were typos and poor english which made the process all the more frustrating. When asking to speak to a manager or supervisor I was told "well they're just going to say the same thing." Horrendous customer service all around. Square space is 100x better and their customer service actually knows what they're doing.

      The company is going down the drain. Its going to fall so hard that they wont even have the time to get up.I had a reseller account with them. There was a billing issue when I was on vacation. They deleted everything. Then a rep charged me for new one, which he wasnt supposed to do.The issue was escalated to a team that performs recovery. I have stayed on hold for hours. Spent countless hours on call to get the websites back. Call was disconnected twice, they never had the courtesy to call back. So I have to call back and start over.They claimed that the recovery was done showing the CPanel that I purchased and restored a few websites using a offline backup.All these years being with them. I can most certainly say that their customer service is incapable of resolving anything and theyre doing & saying whatever they want.They couldnt do any recovery, I have lost all hopes, many hours of my lifes work and cannot believe that their decisions are all against the customers. Its going down the hill fast and I pray that it happens quick and you suffer for the kind of pane you put your customers through.

      Been with them for 10 years, but done with them now. Products and support are now trash and they wouldn't refund my prepaid email subscriptions. If I could leave zero stars I would.
