TRASH OVERSEAS CUSTOMER SERVICE that is always looking to charge you more instead of resolving their own IT issues. DOES NOT STATE IT TAKES 24 HOURS TO SETUP YOUR PAID FEATURES SO AFTER YOU PAY IT ALLOW YOU TO BUILD BUT ONLY ON THE FREE VERSION. If you want all the hard work you put into your "free" website to be used in the paid for version they BILL YOU AN ADDITIONAL CHARGE WHEN ALL THEY HAD TO SAY WAS IT TAKES ******************************************************************* THE ***** CONFIRMATION NUMBER. IF A SUPERVISOR CAN NOT RESOLVE THIS ISSUE WITHOUT ADDTIONAL CHARGES I WILL BE TAKING ALL 6 OF MY BUSINESS ACCOUNTS ELSE WHERE!!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE.

I paid $195.99 to have .ai domain for 2years. One week after purchasing I tried to cancel but they did not refund. They said .ai is not refundable. I checked their refund policy and realized that 50+ domains are non-refundable. They advertise 30days refund policy but most of domains are not refundable. They should have reminded their customer about refund policy if customer is purchasing non-refundable domain. 50+ non-refundable domains are ridiculous...

We thank you for sharing your candid feedback. Were sorry to hear about your concerns surrounding our Refund Policy typically, when a domain is registered by one of our customers, there is a window of opportunity for us to recover the cost of the domain if our customer decides to cancel and get a refund. Unfortunately, several domains (including .ai) are non-refundable because we have no way to recover the funds from the registry upon cancellation. We encourage you to review our Refund Policy prior to registering any domains in the future to verify their ability to be refunded. GODADDY'S PAYMENT PAGE SCAM!! Using GoDaddy as my domain "custodian" has been plagued with problems for more than a decade, but their latest payment processing scam has me finally convinced I need to move elsewhere. I get my bill for the annual domain fee with a 1-year term, but when you try to pay it online it automatically shifts to a 2-year when it goes to process your card (doubling the fee). And the option to change it back is not provided. THEN, they run the payment TWICE such that you've purchased a 4-year license instead of the 1-yr you originally were sent the bill for. When asked to refund the erroneous double credit-card charge, they say the "rules governing domain transactions are too difficult to reverse" and I should simply be happy with a 4-yr license. All this from their customer service while constantly on hold for "higher-up" decisions, and constant attempts to upsell services and protections I don't need. GoDaddy epitomizes the domain "racket" and literally has the worst record of customer service I've ever seen. Sad to be their client for another 4 years!

Beware of GoDaddy. There have been all sorts of changes to my account. Some how I am being charged $167 for just email. Their customer support is horrible. Buyer beware because they make switching almost impossible.

Due to illness I had to retire at the end of May 2023. My employees spent weeks closing accounts and that included GODADDY. Like many other businesses we had to repeatedly close these accounts as there employees didn't do their job. January 2 of 2024 GODADDY charged my Company credit card for their fee of $44.34. I only found out because I went to the bank to close my corporate card. GODADDY'S policy is to NOT refund after 5 days. I called to dispute a charge for a 7 month CLOSED business after 13 days (today is Jan. 15th) and they just said it is our policy to keep your money after 5 days. This is not right and after 16 years with GODADDY they do do me like this! GODADDY, go to hell! ********************

After using GoDaddy for over 17 years, I will never use them again. Their service has gotten worse and their customer service is simply horrible. on 12/16/2023 I received a notice that my email account was going to be disconnected on 12/18/2023. I immediately called GoDaddy to correct it, and that's when the problems began. They said a payment was due, so I paid to have my domain stay active and to not have my email disconnected. After the payment was made, the email stopped working. After 5 hours on the phone and attempting to change my password on their online system I still can't use the service. I tried to reset my password and I got a message that a code was sent to my second email, however, I never received an email to that email address. I have had this problem from the beginning. I do not receive emails from Go Daddy to my other email. I'm not even sure they have the correct backup email since I cannot see the entire address and I am not receiving the code. I still cannot access my account or reset my email password.Ive used my customer number to log in When I try to log in using this, I get the message that claims it will send me a 6 6-digit code that I never receive.I have called in multiple times and spent hours on the phone and multiple responses to emails from the account recovery team, who have yet to recover my account. As per their request, I sent a selfie with my Drivers License, as well as a large clear picture of my ID. They continue to send me back to customer service, who can not help me at all. They refer be back to the account recovery team at changeupdate.com I appreciate your security caution, but I have to say this has been one of the worst ordeals I have ever been through. I have now been without my email for almost a month. I cannot log into my Go Daddy account. This is unacceptable! There is just no one to escalate to. I have tried to cancel this service. Let's see if this works.

I purchased a premium package at $14.99 a month which is around $180 a year. No where does it say that discounted offer is for new customers only. A representative from go daddy told me It is not specifically mentioned but as we are GoDaddy support guides the information is shared by us. The price you see is for a new plan, not for an upgrade or renewal. Im fine paying the normal rate but I feel it is false advertisement to not mention it during checkout. He also said this Sure, as you can see the price is $14.99 below the price It is written 'On sale-Save 34%' which simply means that is a one time price. Below it which is highlighted in blue, It is also mentioned the renewal price is $22.99/month. a sale price is a sale. Its not a promotion for a new customer and if it is then they need to have that mentioned which they dont. They just mention sale price which to me just means Im getting this service at the right time.

BUSINESSES BEWARE!!! DO NOT USE GODADDY PAYMENTS! I stole this statement from ************'s review because it's TRUE. I have a small LLC that provides engineering services. I submitted an invoice to my customer and provided a ********************** pay link to him. He paid via the GoDaddy link and I get a notice that my GoDaddy Payments account has been closed. My options are to cancel the transaction, but they keep the transaction fee OR they hold the funds for ************************************* My choices are essentially to have a fee stolen from my customer for not completing the transaction or not get paid my paycheck for the hours I worked for 90 days! I tried to resolve this with them, but they won't give a reason why they closed the account other than "it's a business risk decision". If that's the case, why did you wait until I was paid to close it? Because they want to steal the fee as I'm sure most people don't want to wait 90 days. The company doesn't deserve 1 star. I give it zero stars.

I've had a domain with go daddy for over twenty five years. In December my card was compromised. I was in the hospital with a heart issue. They sent me a few emails then auctioned off my domain name. What kind of business does something like that. It's twenty five years old you would thing they would give me some time or call me they have my number. I will be moving my other domains out of there for good. THIS IS JUST BAD BUSINESS!
