      The customer service is non-existent. I contacted customer service via chat and after waiting for a while was connected to a rep ********* After getting a run around on my question for OVER AN HOUR, and questions that confused me because none of those questions were related to the particular domain name I just purchased and was inquiring about, I requested to be transferred to someone else and by escalation of my ticket. I was offered unrelated to my request services to which I said: "No, thank you, escalate my ticket", just to have another 15 minutes of my time wasted by this rep. ** this point, my conclusion is either it was a horrible rep or just a toxic human being who was getting off on wasting someone else's time.GoDaddy is overpriced but offers certain convenience with hosting everything in one place, but at this point I am considering unbundling everything just so I don't have to deal with their customer service anymore.

      I was going to sign up for GoDaddy until I had to deal with their customer service. I did a text conversation and I then did a phone call thinking Id get better customer service. They both were horrible! Both treated me like go with us dont we dont care cuz we are the best. Very short with me, talking over me in the phone as if insulted by my questions. But when she said Id pay hundreds of thousands to get everything they offer I knew it was not a good fit. At the end of the day, if I treated my prospects like that do Id lose my job and accounts. For me, if Im getting good customer service Ill pay but these guys ABSOLUTELY NOT! I have worked for a SAAS company for 20 years and if my company allowed us to treat our customers like they do wed be out of business. Dont waste your time with them. Go with a company that treats customers like they are the most valuable piece of a company because we really are and without us you dont have a company. Steer clear of this one.

      The customer service, regardless of department, is terrible. You'll get run around after waiting on hold for ever, then likely disconnected. Their first level of representative barely understands how things work, second level maybe, then... Chances are they won't even understand the issue, let alone what to do to fix it. Be prepared to wait, a long time. Good luck..

      I researched webhosting and domains for the past 4 days and chose godaddy. I paid for plan that included getting a domain name They took my credit card and charged me. Signed me off without letting me set up account OR giving me A PIN NUMBER so I had no access. They took money and blew me off. Finally I went through email and entered my supposedly new domain name and they were going to charge me AN ADDITIONAL $11.99 PER MONTH after all of their ads state it is free. I also didn't even have a way to sign in since they take your credit card then just forget you. TOTAL SCAM. I spent 35 minutes on phone to cancel and I have to wait 10 days to get my own money back for their total scam advertising. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH GODADDY.

      I had auto renewal for a website I haven't used in a couple years and tried calling to cancel after the fact of being renewed to get refunded for the future usage (2 year auto renewal) since I no longer use it and won't be for the next two years and they weren't willing to work with me. So now I'm paying $800 for the next two years for literally nothing. Terrible customer service and not doing the right thing for the customer. ****** not trying to have a good reputation...scamming people's $$$

      Run, run, run. DO NOT have them build your website or provide ***. Go with a local marketing company. They hire very imcompetent people who do sloppy jobs on their website designs, make grammar mistakes, awful designs. Please save yourself headache. I'm in tears right now with over a two month build and a 9k refund they have yet to give to me after cancelling the *** package.

      I have GoDaddy for website, domain and office 365... When I have problems, I try calling and sit on hold for 15 - 45 minutes to find out that I have the wrong department... They transfer you and now it says you will be on hold longer than 60 minutes...I am trying to run a business hence the account with **********************... I DO NOT have time to waste sitting on hold for hours to get no help and you cannot do anything else because you HAVE to be in front of your computer... No one is able to call out and I have been told on MORE than one occasion that I just need to call back when I am in front of my computer and sit on hold until a representative picks up. They clearly do not care one bit about the businesses they are collecting money from... They are happy to take your money but after the fact, there is no service!!!!I am SOOOOOOO frustrated!!!!!

      GoDaddy has gone straight to h*** ever since some greedy executive in the ivory tower decided that $42B isn't enough money and decided to use overseas monkey people with mouths full of marbles to speak chopped up English misusing pronouns, adjectives, etc. This resulted in 100's of hours of being on hold with horrifying on hold music up to 7 HOURS IN ONE DAY!*^%$(*%(_* I hired them to duplicate information from one of my websites to another and in the process, they took far too long and DELEATED MY ORIGINAL WEBSITE PERMANTELY WHICH RESULTED IN LOST BUSINESS THE INABILITY TO PROCESS PAYEMENT AND WOULDN"T REIMBURSE ME MY ORIGINAL FEES MUCH LESS LOST REVENUE!

      I use Godaddy for website hosting and for my website to represent my business. Recently I made 320 dollars on my site and Godaddy will not pay me for it. I have receipt of payment and the order number but they told me I need to reach out to the company the client paid with. This is unacceptable and is almost if not fraud. I DO NOT recommend using Godaddy, they are pricey and don't offer good support.
