      If I could leave a 0 I would. After using godaddy for at least a year and I go to make some changes on my website and it's gone. They refuse to give me access to my content so that I can rebuild elsewhere and I have lost tons of time, pics, content and info as well as potentially thousands in sales. When I contacted customer service they couldn't help me restore my website even if it was just long enough to get my content and continued to try and sell me an update. My business cards are linked to my website so now I'm out that cost for something I can't use. I am beyond heart broken over losing my site and will NOT return or use godaddy services again.

      My wife was charged for a fee/service on 3/18/2024 (just under $80) that she didnt authorize, *********** would not apply to her business either so she wouldnt have approved it and wasnt told of the *** ahead of time either. We called today 4/26/2024 and was told she was past their 30 day refund policy. This is an UNFAIR PRACTICE that she was not given fair opportunity to opt out or avoid the charge. Now she has to request a refund exception from a supervisor and email him and was told they are rarely approved. Well see how that goes as he is supposed to listen to the call and if he does he will not hear her approving this fee/service

      Godaddy has horrible customer service and technical support. I have had an ongoing issue for 2 months with not being able to use full functionality of the site and tools that I paid for. It has taken weeks and over 20 hours of my time to trouble shoot and get assistance. One day I spent almost 10 hours with support. The technical department acts like you're bothering them and they disconnect you when they get frustrated and then you're forced to start a whole new conversation with someone else explaining the same issue. I was given tasks such as doing a screen recording, screen shot then figuring out how to do an HAR file to send to them (I was rushed to do this after being on the line for over 7 hours with no technical training). Then after sending the requested files was told I'd receive follow up in 72 hours which never happened. After calling several times, re explaining my issue countless times and resending the all of the same emails to several different people (a few of them sounded like I interrupted their lunch and they weren't enthusiastic about helping). I finally got someone who said they were a supervisor. He seemed willing to help, put me on "hold" then disconnected me and never called back. I waited an hour and finally remembered I had his email since I had emailed him the same files as well and his response was "oh yeah we got disconnected I'm working on it though." He could have reached out and said something like sorry we got disconnected but I am still working on it. I will contact with an update as soon as I have one but nothing. No courtesy. Just a total lack of customer service all the way around and my site wasn't working properly for 2 months. I am currently in search of another platform to move my 2 websites to and not looking forward to rebuilding them but I am going to take my time to find a new platform with better customer service. This whole ordeal has been horrible.

      I had a friend set me up with go daddy boy or boy what a mistake. I set up a long-term contract. During that contract my website was hacked multiple times I was unable to recover my website the third time that it happened. So at my cost I had a new site rebuilt but I used a new server because I did not trust go daddy anymore. Then a year later I was charged 850 bucks, For the renewal of my website I guess it was an auto renewal program So I called go daddy and requested that I get a refund since I wasn't using their service and it was only a few months into this renewal. however, Go daddy customer service said I had to do that within 5 days or I can't get any of the money back. We went round and around I still have 4 years left of my service my go daddy's canceled they have my money and they won't refund any. Not only that they use a credit card of mind that they didn't even have the new expiration date but they jammed it through without even any notification to me. I would think for this multimillion-dollar company they could refund a guy that still had some website domain service with them. Not anymore. Dishonest untrustworthy and don't give a crud.

      The worst web designers. Did not use any of our recommendations. Created a very white and not diverse website. Also, they do not follow through with the schedules. We are losing money because of their incompetence.

      I like the service offered for the website and emails. However I purchased the conversation product soley on the guarantee that any calls I made, the caller id would show my business number. After 2 weeks of trying to get it to work, a customer service representative told me that actually was not a service they offered yet, even though it was listed on the website. They would not provide a refund or a credit,even though they advertised the service falsely.

      10 year customer and I have a technical issue that could be fixed. But instead, they force me to purchase a "marketing package" in order to fix it. I am out! I had to pay it because they held me hostage for now, but I am going to go to another website provider. I am going to spread this far and wide. This is how they treat their loyal customers! I was on the phone for 2.5 hours and could not even talk to anyone that was in a supervisory position STAY AWAY FROM GODADDY! There are other BETTER options out there for less money and better customer support. They obviously will not do any more than they have to do for their long time customers. This is a forced charge. There are so many website providers that actually WANT my business!

      Hired Go Daddy design services in December and was promised a 6 week turn around. It is now April and we still do not have a website. I even designed a websites in go daddys templates and asked them to copy it and they couldnt do that either. We have been trying to get a refund for a week now and have yet to talk to someone who can help in anyway. We will be reporting design services, filing a lawsuit and filing a claim with Amex. Do not use go daddy. They are not designers and will not do anything to help or support you. It is a scam if I have ever seen one.

      I set up Go Daddy payments through my website. They took a $2000 donation and held it for two months and wouldnt release it until I provided information about the person who donated which I was not allowed to share. I ended up having to do an extremely difficult process to refund the money to the person because I couldnt get a transferred out even though they took fees and held the funds.

      I cannot recommend that anyone do business with GoDaddy. I purchased a new computer and tried unsuccessfully to add my email account to Outlook. After failing to resolve my issue after spending two hours texting customer support, I called customer support. The customer support representative I spoke with was rude and unable to resolve the issue. When I first asked him to transfer me to his supervisor, he refused. After insisting, he said he was transferring, but after 30 minutes, no one picked up the call, and the call was dropped. During the call, I asked to have my account canceled, but he refused. If I cannot purchase my domain through another vendor, I will have to take GoDaddy to court. Don't put yourself in the same position I've found myself in. Do not do business with GoDaddy.
