***** TO A MANAGER IN CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE NAMED ********************** He turned a negative into a positive! I recently purchased GoDaddy's Website Builder for approximately $800.00+. I then became ill and called them immediately to cancel the product. They promised they would. After a month, I was billed again. Upon complaining, I was told that I could not receive the refund because I was now into the second month, and their policy was that the customer had to contact them within the first thirty days. I told the person calmly that just because he was an idiot, he didn't have to pass that "malady" along to me. I know what I bought , when I bought it, and after using GoDaddy products for over 20 yrs, I know what their return policy is. I told them over and over again that I called at the proper due time--and that MY policy was to stay on the phone with them until I received satisfaction. One good thing about this company is that no matter how long you stay on the phone and ****** them--THEY DO NOT HANG UP ON YOU! If they are anything--THEY ARE POLITE!. They insisted that I was not entitled to the refund. At one point, we seemed to have been disconnected--but 30 seconds later they called me back. After 90 minutes, I was switched over to the CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE manager, named ********************** He was a PHENOM. He listened. He understood--and 15 minutes after we spoke, I received an official E-mail telling me that I had been issued a complete refund. A day or two later, an examination of my bank account verified this. I want to thank ********************** for restoring my faith in GoDaddy! GoDaddy needs more ***********'s!*********************** ( once again, a loyal customer)GoDaddy.com LLC

I have been a Go Daddy customer for the last 2 decades, I have written many great reviews over the years for their customer service. As well I am directly responsible for bringing 40 clients of various sizes to who became direct customers of them because of the customer service. As we all know things will go wrong from time to time, but a company with a strong customer service and the will give an effort to make things right goes a long way. Unfortunately, I have experienced over the last year that the customer service no longer cares to go the extra step to assist a client with an issue. They would rather kick the can down the road. Case in point, yesterday an *** was not working on a domain. The ** dashboard we have for our products showed the it was active until 5/18. When I called customer service they said that *** certs go for 13months, but we bill on 12 months basis. Long story short I said the client want their website up. I also asked that they do the *** setup, which is an additional charge... I get it no problem. 3 hrs later the *** was not set-up. I called back and started to get the rhetoric that it could take up to 48hrs for this to be completed. I explained that I see the *** cert was created 3 hrs earlier but no one has metaphorically flipped the switch. At this point I have a client sending emails asking why this is not done yet, so I asked to speak to a supervisor. I waited 30 mins on hold to speck with one. When he finally arrived and I explained the situation he told me again it could take 48hrs. Not only that but he raised his voice to me and spoke over me. His name was ***** with the ** of 6401.GoDaddy.com LLC

Shady company to say the least. I was sold a marketing product by a sales women one April 27th. She told me it was a 3 month package and I had 30 days to cancel with my money back. When I asked how to be in contact with the ***************************** to utilize the services she said to just wait and someone would reach out to me to set up an appointment. I waited a week with no contact about the service. I finally called to inquire and they said no one would contact me that I need to contact them and submit a help ticket to get the marketing support. None of this was what I was told or what I said I wanted. When I asked for a refund they said it was too late as I only had 48 hours to cancel. So this lady lied to me about the product and the cancelation period. I asked for a refund based on being mislead and he told me he would email me a link to fill out a form for a refund. Do you think I got an email? I did not ever get an email. I contacted again last night and was given a phone number to call. I called today, and was told it was outside the 48 hours. I reminded him I was lied to about the product and cancelation policy, he literally hung up on me. It looks like the culture at this company is one where people are allowed to or even encouraged to lie and mislead customers for sales and are using the system to get away with it.GoDaddy.com LLC

Absolute garbage company to try to get rid of. Several years ago I had two accounts (never actually used) one has two domain names I purchased. I tried to close them when they came up for renewal. One had an email address not available for a number of years and a phone number from a company I no longer own. When I tried to simply close the account I spent an hour on the phone with someone who stated they had closed the accounts. I checked back to find out that they say they cannot close account without my sending them my complete driver's license or passport picture and info page. I do not give that information out to companies I am trying to get rid of since I didn't need them to sign up. This is a phishing tactic to get personal information and should and might be, illegal. DO NOT USE GODADDY for anything.GoDaddy.com LLC

I've been a loyal GoDaddy customer for over 15 years, but recent experiences have completely changed my view of their service. During a promised migration from GoDaddy Workspace to Office 365, GoDaddy assured us repeatedly that we wouldn't need to take any action and that we would receive email notifications about the migration process. However, these notifications never came, and to our surprise, they partially migrated our emails in mid-January without informing us. This left us in a messpart of our emails were migrated, and others werent.To make matters worse, GoDaddy then refused to assist with the completion of the migration. We found the Office 365 system ****** complex and incompatible with our existing systems without lowering our security settings, which was not a viable option. Consequently, we decided to switch to ****** Workspace. However, GoDaddy had enabled a 3-year auto-renewal by default on the migrated accountsa ***** departure from our original 1-year renewal policy. This auto-renewal was done without our consent and appears to violate the Consumer Protection Act in *******, *******Despite multiple attempts to cancel this service and obtain a refund for the 90 email accounts (which were never activated or used), GoDaddy refused to refund the $25,000 CAD charged. This is unacceptable business practice, and it's disappointing to see a company that I once trusted now engaging in such deceptive tactics. I strongly advise against using GoDaddy, as their approach to customer service and billing is far from ethical or transparent.GoDaddy.com LLC

Chat support for my refund request was extremely poor. I was given two refund request confirmation numbers on 4/19. After waiting 12 days, I learned the refunds were never initiated to my account and that I was given confirmation numbers to a different account.GoDaddy.com LLC

I purchased web products but every time I tried to set up my account it kept saying I had to purchase the web products again. I tried several times to get help resolving this issue. I never got help. You arent able to speak with an actual person. I text this entire story along with my order number and all I kept receiving was more text asking what can I help you with. This went on for 3 days.
