I normally keep business complaints to myself and move on, but this...Do NOT purchase a ********* 365 Business subscription through GoDaddy. Even though it's YOUR account, you CANNOT access the ********* Admin console. Login redirects you to GoDaddy admin page - which DOES not let you make any kind of changes withing the 365 Business ecosystem. That includes even changing your profile picture in Teams. I spent well over an hour in a chat with a clueless support agent who eventually confirmed that even though you pay for a 365 Business Professional account, you cannot access the Admin console that is REQUIRED for making changes to user accounts within your ********* 365 suite for your organization. (Here's an actual sentence from the support agent: "Would you like me to share you refund exception form do let us?" ...WHAT!?). I ask for a refund so I can acquire an actual working subscription - Nope, no refund. GoDaddy's only solution is to tell you that when your subscription runs out, you can start a new one directly though ********* so you can have the correct functionality. So I paid full price for a ********* 365 Business Professional subscription, but do not get complete control or use over it - and they acknowledge this:"*******, 02 Aug. 2024 , 10:32pm As I can check that you want to have the Admin access, Unfortunately which is not available with us."If you're familiar with Office/365 and your organization uses Teams, Outlook, etc.. be aware you will NOT get full admin functionality even though you are listed as admin - not great for running an organization.Absolutely will not be using GoDaddy ever again.

They prevent you from cancelling or deleting domains, or turning off auto renew for subscription. They prevent you from being able to edit the domain or change the auto renew status for domains you do not want. They increase the price of the auto renew, and do not let you cancel. Not directly from within the platform. And not via a human agent at customer support. They are a scam company operating illegally.

We thank you for sharing your candid feedback.GoDaddy takes account security and the security of our customers products seriously. What you are describing sounds like our Ultimate Domain Ownership Protection product. Ultimate Domain Ownership Protection is a premium, add-on service which provides proxy contact details in a domain's WHOIS information and also protects against the cancellation, expiration, or transfer of a domain name. Domain names which have this service cannot be cancelled or transferred until the Ultimate Domain Protection is downgraded. "I had a dreadful experience working with GoDaddy. Despite making a successful sale and generating an invoice through their website, I encountered a significant issue. When I received payment, GoDaddy unexpectedly put the transaction under review and refused to deposit the funds into my account. I'm extremely disappointed and feel misled by their actions, which I believe are unethical and unfair."

Godaddy has shut down my account after i gave them a bad review and has taken $10,000.00 of my money and as a small residential contractor its going to destroy me. And the rep that i was just on the phone with Claton or something said oh its not that bad. I gave them all my info they asked for Provided ivoices bank records, and even the contract for the job. and after dragging me along for over a week without as much as even a phone call they shut down my account and told me they will not give me my money. Do not use godaddy. Im talking to my local news station so watch for this story. Its crazy that if i stole $10,000.00 i would go to jail if a big company like godaddy steals $10,000.00 its just a unfortunate occasion.

My team and I opened two business accounts, one for a holding company and the other one of the businesses underneath. We've never used a hosting site and set up commerce and payments then sent a test transaction to see how it works and where it would go. The transaction was immediately held and after explaining, GoDaddy said it was against their ToS which they sent. We read through the ToS and asked them to clarify in writing which Terms were broken, they immediately said they would be shutting down our Commerce and Payments accounts and will no longer be available to us. As for the money they told us to refund it, which we did, and it showed pending for a few days then disappeared. We called the bank and they said this would only happen if the vendor cancelled it. We were told the money would be back in 5 days, then 7 days, then 10 days. This was 7/5 and we still have not received the funds that were originally on the way back. This has caused us to lose out on two necessary purchases. Since then it has been rerouted call after call and the ******************* literally told us they would not talk to us directly since we do not have an account with them. Customer Service gave me a case # to email about and I haven't heard from them since. If it was not for their website builder being decent they would not deserve the second star. There is no reason to send a refund then recall it then have a paying customer have to fight to get their own funds back!

After looking at the reviews I just saw one that is exactly what I am experiencing. GoDaddy says they will not release the funds until I provided them proof of my business, invoice, social media site, etc. I provided everything they requested. I was not told that this information would be needed before setting up payments thru their payment system. Every time I have called I have gotten less and less information every day. My last conversation with them was to tell them that I am contacting my customer so a cancellation can be put on the payment.

Horrid customer service, they lied and repeatedly said my PIN, my EMAIL, my PHONE NUMBER, my CUSTOMER # was all WRONG this was a blatant lie because I verified everything was exactly what I told them. I was trying to get a refund on there horrible overpriced and now it turns out scam and liar service. They obviously have no integrity and just want more more money and will lie, steal, scam to get it from you. Now in a few days I am calling the credit card company to reverse the charges to this scam company I have all the texts saved from there scam service. If I dont get the money back ill be sure to be involved in a CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT soon I hope.AVOID!

GoDaddy is a SCAM. Here's how it works:GoDaddy UI captures domain addresses being entered by site visitors and secures them as "domain taken" if their algorithm id's them as worthy. The user is then forced to either abandon their domain idea or pay thousands to GoDaddy to secure it back. This appears to be a known issue among user forums. For me personally, it happened three times today alone and a few months ago. After the first instance I then tested them and applied for their negotiation services to pursue a domain I was already familiar with and knew the history of--it was my dad's. They attempted to get thousands out of me for a domain that I already knew the owner and its value. They went on to claim they couldn't even get started with anything less than $2500.

We thank you for sharing your candid feedback.Domains are sold on a first-come, first-served basis.GoDaddy does not and has never participated in domain name front-running the act of registering domain names after a registration search is done in an attempt to profit from the domain. We encourage our customers to purchase any available domains they desire at the time they show as available for registration. The ********************* (DBS) enlists GoDaddy's Domain Broker Agents to attempt to contact a current domain name registrant and potentially negotiate a sale of the domain name registration. While DBS is an advocate for the potential buyer, depending on the domain name they may seek approval from the potential buyer for a higher offering price (near or at market value) than what the potential buyer prefers in order to get the potential sellers attention. Offers lower than market value tend to be ignored. We welcome the opportunity to connect with you in the hopes of resolving any outstanding concerns and can be reached at ************************************************

I have spent 4 days, over 10 hours, and over 2 months to try and get this resolved. All the company does is transfer your calls overseas to people who cannot resolve the issue. I had to call and ask to add a service until I got to speak with someone in *****************, who then transferred me back to offshores. DO NOT GET SERVICES WITH THIS COMPANY!!! Once I tried to cancel my hosting they charged me, then shut down the site, and then put it on auto-renewal for a site that did not exist for the next day!! This rate should be a ZERO!!!
