I had trouble after two applications directly to the government ( VA records ) about 10 years ago and for some reason never received my copy. I contacted DD214 Direct and paid for their service and received my DD214 by email within 1 week. I highly recommend this service for Veterans who have difficulty in obtaining the ** 214 record.DD214 Direct
