  DD214Direct is not the "fastest way to get your DD214". eVetRecs mailed their document and it arrived before DDD emailed theirs. I placed the order on 6/8/22 and was contacted on 6/13/22 to provide proof of death and kinship which the woman was able to find since the system will not allow users to submit without uploading documentation. I received the document in an email when I returned home from my son's funeral on 6/21/22. I needed it to bury him at the veterans cemetary with full military honors. Thankfully, we were able to get the documentation elsewhere.
