This Review really should have gone the other way. I was happy with the turn-around time and the service provided with one exception. They emailed my DD-214 IN THE CLEAR. No encryption, no password protection on a file, no password protected zip archive, nothing. This is most assuredly PII incident and the company has a responsibility to protect all sensitive information. Their website states at the bottom over every page "We take precautions to protect your information. When you submit sensitive information via the website, your information is protected both online and offline. Wherever we collect sensitive information (such as credit card data), that information is encrypted and transmitted to ** in a secure way. While we use encryption to protect sensitive information transmitted online, we also protect your information offline. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, billing or customer service) are granted ********************** to personally identifiable information." They did not "use encryption to protect sensitive information transmitted online". Big disappointment. I am seriously concerned about a breach at their company. My service information and my SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER were transmitted in the clear.
