They don't actually perform the move, they subcontract out the work to random subcontractors that they don't hold accountable. The subcontractor they set me up with was in contact with me right away, and leading up to the move. On the actual move day they completely ghosted me and all movinghelp.com did was tell me they can cancel my order. Meaning on the last day of my lease when I absolutely needed to move out by end of day I had absolutely no help. I had to do it myself and beg neighbors for help with big furniture, paying in cash, total chaos. This has been one of the worst experiences of my life.Meanwhile the actual subcontractor said nothing, is not held accountable, I received no apology from movinghelp.com and had to fight with chat support to get a refund. They would not help me book more help, and my refund won't show up for 7 days. This is a complete scam. Do not use this service.MovingHelp.com

If I could give this company negative stars, I would! Called U-haul to get U-boxes, was offered moving help, and agreed that I wanted it. Was offered insurance and I bought that too. **** came and moved my stuff. Several months later, when settled into my permanent residence, I had the boxes delivered. When I opened the boxes, I saw that my bed frame was broken and the wood was gouged on the bed and both bed tables, the mattress had not been covered, just folded in half like a taco and taped, it was torn in several places. I had a mirror-topped side table that was put onto the floor face down so the mirror was completely scratched up. To make matters worse, there were several bundles of moving blankets that were unopened/unused. I filed a claim with U-Haul, but their insurance carrier told me that "the policy does not insure against loss or damage caused by improper packing..." They told me to contact MovingHelp.com, which was a complete waste of time as they told me there is separate insurance (that I was not offered) that would have covered these damages. MovingHelp wants me to confront the mover, who was a 6'9" Yugoslavian dude and his obvious junkie sidekick. Am I really expected to contact HIM to try to get compensation for the damage to my possessions? This is a sham business who accepts no responsibility for damage caused by their agents!MovingHelp.com

I have used MovingHelp before to book movers and will NEVER use it again after having a beyond unacceptable experience with movers booked through MovingHelp, who failed to address the issue.Blue *** **************** damaged several parts of and items in my brand new home, so I gave them a 4-star review. *********** aggressively argued with me on the phone for HOURS to take the review down, but I refused (because it was true and wanted documentation of the issue). Blue *** then offered to fix the damage at no charge and to offer me a full refund to make it right, because perfection was that important to Blue *** IF I took the review down. (Blue *** also said I could submit a new review once the old review was taken down - I confirmed later with U-Haul that is impossible). As soon as I took the review down, all communications stopped - Blue *** Logistics blocked my number, never fixed the damage, and never refunded me a single cent.I filed a case with MovingHelp, as directed by U-Haul, to report the issue, hoping to get relief myself, and to prevent this from happening to more people - Blue *** ONLY has hundreds of 5 star reviews, which indicates this almost certainly isnt the first time theyve done this. There was 0 contact from MovingHelp about my case. When I followed-up, I was first said the vendor had 14 days to respond, and then said they automatically close a case after 14 days of the vendor not responding. It is unacceptable for MovingHelp to allow Blue *** Logistics to use their platform in that way, and to take 0 accountability for, or action to remedy, the issue. MovingHelp cannot force a vendor to do anything, but they CAN (but apparently wont) control who continues to use their platform. Blue *** is still on it.I was also told to contact Blue *** myself - a company that has lied and blocked me. Having resolution options that require predatory companies to police themselves is unrealistic, dangerous, and poor customer service.MovingHelp.com

2 instances in a row where i booked with 5 star service providers and got very poor experience:1. One person showed up 30 min late after misleading me that "we" (i booked 2 people) are on the way a few minutes away. After another half an hour, 1 hour after the original booking, when the other person still didn't show up, I clarified that I insist the two people will handle some things. At that point, the guy just disappeared and left things he already unloaded outside.2. I then booked another five star service provider, we agreed that they will show up at a certain time with a dolly. They showed up half an hour later after providing me incorrect eta estimates (i.e. 10 minutes). They didn't have a dolly and they wanted extra.I would definitely argue against using MovingHelp.com in the future. The ratings seems to be extremely detached from reality.MovingHelp.com

MovingHelper.com is a joke. The purpose of this platform is to connect local moving companies to clients to help them more effectively grow their business. MovingHelper takes 15% of all vendors as their split of the profits. I own a moving company and have for over 15 years. We are highly professional, take pride in our work, and are a family owned business. We created an account on ************************ to expand our business, completed all of the required "training" and emailed all of the required documents and ID's. It has been over a month and they will not approve our account. I've written to them, as there is no phone number to call, 6 times to inquire what the hold up is to approve our account and I receive the same automated email back telling me they will get to it when they get to it. This is a joke of a company with terrible customer service, unprofessionally operated, and poorly executed and maintained. If you are a vendor, please steer clear. If you are a client, based on the feedback I've received upon further review, steer clear. Most of these vendors are young kids, unqualified, uninsured, and are usually not even a registered business. Shame.MovingHelp.com

MovingHelp.com has NO responsibility or control over the local movers they contract. Therefore, when these local movers (who moving help.com told me were the highest rated in my area) only communicated with me 12 hours before my move to confirm it and the, on the day, when movers did NOT show the TrueMovers contracted did not answer their phone or call me back. I had to cancel. Wasted a whole morning. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. U-Haul does not control it and it is only an incompetent coordinator.MovingHelp.com

my review is not even on here....how convenient. best movers are not the best, they are not even good. moving help provides a payment code but doesn't explain that once that is done than you basically have to go through the provider (the ones that were the problem) instead of advocating for their customers. The movers were late arriving after they called asking if they could start early. they emptied drawers but never thought to pack the items that were in the drawers. Disconnected washer/dryer but didn't think it would be wise to pack the attachments, or even ask to see if I wanted them ( to which I would have said, of course). When I tried to contact the movers they were rude. Perhaps going to YELP would be a better idea.MovingHelp.com

Please accept our deepest apology for any difficulty or inconvenience you may have encountered with your service provider. Moving Help is a neutral venue and each Moving Help service provider is an independent laborer who is responsible for their own customer satisfaction and level of service. In the emails you receive it does explain the payment code. MovingHelp.com cannot require that the individually owned and operated company pay you any sort of restitution. MovingHelp.com only provides the web site needed to connect individually owned, independent service providers with their local customer.Review fromMike P

Moving help is a lack luster opportunity that states they are partnered with you as a contractor, but truth is they treat all contractors like employees and terminate access to there site at will which in ********** is a violation of labor code I am surprised a lawsuit against the and the manager has not been filed, coming soon. There communication as a company is disastrous and lacking, the take 15% from every job, and thats from every provider but reality for that money there is no support system, no team to assess every situation, all they want to do is get paid as we the providers work hard to support our families, while getting robbed, for 15% of every job I have been on here for over 10 years and they try to find anything wrong so they can terminate or place your account on advertising hold. The manager of moving help is *******, she has no communication with you and truthfully I dont necessarily agree with how its ran. There should be an investigation into these unfair and diluted business practices, they fly under the Uhaul flag but clearly a real trash business motto, if there is one at all.MovingHelp.com

Moving Help advertises themselves as a company that assists with people who move your things in and out of U-Haul trucks. What they don't tell you is that they will provide no help in the event that something goes wrong. In my case, a provider listed on their website defrauded two local contractors leaving them without payment. They provided no assistance in resolving this matter and left it on me to fix things. It is clear to me that little to no vetting of the providers takes place. I would highly recommend that people use alternate services as there is no way of knowing whether the providers listed on their service are legitimate.MovingHelp.com
