The customer service is absolutely horrible at two locations in *******. They run this company as a jail rather than a laboratory. I waited for an hour and then was told that their system was down without any apology. They are rude with a terrible disposition. Do not go there.

Sonora Quest ( both Sites) in ***************. Are a joke! The staff are not professional, do not listen/ help patients with their concerns. Computers do not work, so pts do not get on the list and sit for hours.As a health care professional I am appalled at how they are allowed to treat people: patients. Ive been having billing issues with Sonora Quest Lab since 2022. I, myself, will receive my billing statements within 30 days of service with no issues. However, my spouse will receive her billing statements 3 to 6 months later with threats of debt collection. The billing statements for my spouse arrive at our home address in one envelope with months of billing statements inside. The postmark is less than 5 days, so its not a **** or address issue. Weve called and emailed several different billing reps within Sonora Quest, and they have told us our address was incorrect or this is the way our billing is or update your address with your doctors office or its appears to be an issue with your local ****. In June 2024, we again received one envelope via ****, post marked 5 days, with 4 billing statements dating back to March, April and May, and threats of collections. We have never received any other billing statements, calls or emails that we had a balance due of over $400. I went on the billing website for Sonora Quest and paid $221, there was no balance for $428. Two days later, we received a letter from a debt collection agency, via Sonora Quest, for $13. Note, we never received a bill for $13. I called and the debt collection agency stated they received the request for collection due to our address being incorrect or not existing. This is harassment and no matter how many times I explain it to them, they continue to send my spouses billing statements 3-6 months late with threats of collections. Since Jan 2024, after Sonora Quest has billed our insurance, weve paid over $1100 out of pocket. My spouse receives a 5 min visit at a pain management facility and urine testing every month, thats it. So when we receive statements of $330, $221, $428 6 months later, you can imagine the questions we have.Sonora Quest Laboratories LLC

I used the ********** site for my lab draw several things happened to escalate to the team lead ***** actually raising his voice(yelling) and demanding that I delete a picture of my testing orders that I took just in case I had to come back due to improper collection or QNS if the tubes. The key here is my orders and my tubes. Definitely ***** needs a retraining course in how to and not to communicate with patients. I will never use sql service centers if this is anything to go by. There are many other labs in the valley I suggest you use them.Sonora Quest Laboratories LLC

Sonora Quest is NOT a good place to get services from. I have gone there for a year and suddenly yesterday they give me a bill from 2010-2012, when I was a CHILD. My mom passed away and couldn't pay it. And had me contact a collections agency to make payments. Well guess what, the medical costs expired after 6 years. They could not find the bill at all. This company is clearly after money and they will do whatever they can do get it. Also, The rude receptionists said to me: "We need to see effort in paying this bill or we will deny services". Sonora Quest website is the WORST WEBSITE I HAVE EVER USED. THEY INVALIDATE YOUR PASSWORD AND FORCE YOU TO RESET THEN THE WEBSITE DEMANDS UNREASONABLE REQUESTS AND WONT ALLOW YOU TO RESET. i don't have as much trouble with financial institutions.Sonora Quest Laboratories LLC

This business is irresponsible and poorly run on the administration side of things.I have had two bills with this company and both bills have been sent to Collections.The first bill, after having never received it, I reached out and that's how I found out it was in collections. Now, I never received it, because this company has my incorrect address for sending bills (and though I have attempted to correct it with them, they still have the wrong address).Which leads to the second bill. It's in collections (not because I am past the due date) but because they received the bill back (after sending it to the wrong address).While writing this I just received a call back (finally from this company). I'm not even sure how to process how backwards they are... The call was so scratchy that I had to try and decipher what the representative was saying--I did mention it was very scratchy and hard to hear but there wasn't anything said besides and an "oh in regards to this...When telling the representative that they have my information incorrect (for the second time btw), she told me that she can't update it, as they get the information from whoever sent them the original order with my info. *Probably worth pointing out, that my original appointment and labs that were taken--WAS DIRECTLY WITH THIS COMPANY AT THEIR LABS.Now also worth pointing out, in the Sonora Quest Portal--it will not allow me to update my information. It states: "Need to change your contact information?For your security, to change any information please call us at..."So... the cycle of insanity on the phone call with the representative continued. They can't update it apparently--I can't update it...Also, the reason my info can't be updated she said--because the second bill is in collections (again, not because I am past the due date) but because they received the bill back after sending it to the wrong address... When I pulled my last results with Sonora Quest I was shocked with what I saw. I thought how can this be this far off compared to the month before. My doctor called me to say I need to get to the **ASAP. My husband and I scurried around, getting all my drugs lab results then went to the ** where they took all the information went through all my drugs and then re-drew my blood. Come to find out Sonora quest had let my blood set out too long which resulted in a horrendous, bad reading. We ended up spending hours at the ** worrying as to what was going to happen to me.Im thankful that my doctor called me immediately when she read the results and told me to get to the **. Now Im very hesitant going back to the Sonora Quest that Ive been using for several years. Im Afraid of getting another bad result and ending up in the ** again. It also makes me wonder how many other tests they have messed up given me a false readings.The ** doctor told me if I get anymore out of range results to come back to the ** and well run the tests.Sonora Quest Laboratories LLC

Absolutely the worst website for customers. ***************** is not much better. Either no one is available to answer a call or there is no one there. Making an appointment is a challenge and if you dont call to do so its impossible. Very poor service for patients as they appear to cater to doctors as there customer.Sonora Quest Laboratories LLC

Billed 1 amount for bloodwork, sent them a payment they they never processed per my bank. Now I get email about past due amount and possibly being sent to collections and the amount is now more than originally billed. I called today and spoke with someone who tries to tell me that check was returned for insufficient fund. Totally not true as the check was never cashed or processed per my bank. Advised the ** rep that I wanted a supervisor as I would not be paying a high bill for a payment they NEVER processed. Oh wouldn't you know it, no sup available but they will update it so I only pay the original amount. Bad business practices all together. I hope they aren't getting away with this scam for people who just pay bills as they get them without questioning why they didn't cash the first payment for the right about and instead choose to bill now for a higher amount all while they still have an open/good check in their custody that they have not yet tried to process.
