It has been 16 days and I still do not have my lab results, which have a turnaround time of 4 to 6 days. I've already rescheduled my doctor appointment once. Now my appointment is today and still no results. I'm a teacher, so I've taken a day off, scheduled a substitute teacher, and written my substitute plans. It's a major hassle to take a day off when you're a teacher. I will have to pay for this doctor visit and not be able to get the answers that I've scheduled the appointment for. This is unacceptable. It took 2 hours to get the bloodwork done to begin with. In addition, they didn't say anything upon check in that one test was time sensitive, and therefore due to the wait, I missed the time cut off for the test. I had to then schedule another time to have that test done, and had to miss more work. I will never use this lab again. This has been such a hassle.Review fromPHIL L

About 10 years ago I received a lab bill that was about $500. I checked prices with other labs in the ************** and found that the cost of the same labs should have been about 50% of what I was being billed. I wrote a letter of complaint and stating that I was enclosing my check for Half of what they had billed explaining that the charges were twice as much as they should reasonably be. My letter presented the check as PAYMENT IN FULL. Payment in full was written clearly on my check including language on that back that said negotiation of my check constituted payment in full. My check was accepted and cleared my bank. For years I have heard nothing. Recently starting in 2021 when I went in for another blood draw, I was presented with a bill for the alleged remainder owed. I have told each and every person that presented that old stale bill that is beyond any statute of limitations this story and that I do not owe anything. Today, before a blood draw I was presented that old "bill" and told that unless I paid it today they would not draw my blood and perform lab service. When I told the lab person I do not owe the bill I was told to leave and that I am not welcome back. I am retired and covered by ******** and a Supplement. I left very upset at being treated like a deadbeat which I am not. I used my telephone to find a nearby Lab and had my blood draw done by a very pleasant person. I will not ever consider going back to Sonora Quest. You should read all the other reviews here and go elsewhere.Review fromTroy E

Has to be the worst lab in the country. 5 yrs ago I got a bad blood draw from them and my arm is permanently messed up. Now my insurance is trying to make me go back there. I went back for an in home test. They argued with my ************ about who was to do the prior auth. After they finally figured out it was them, the specimens went bad supposedly. I went back to the same place and they refused to help me. They said they "don't do those tests" and I have to go to my *** would I leave now? I asked why I could do it 2 weeks earlier? No response - just leave. THE WORST employees on the planet. So rude. A disgusting place that should be shut down.Review fromLaurel S

I had lab done at ******************** on 12/5/2023. I was told one of the tests might not be covered by ********. I did sign I was aware of this possibility. I never received bill via email notice or electronic notice or that a message awaited me in the patient portal. I did get my results. On Aug 29 I got a text message from *************** which turned out to be a debt collector. I attempted many, many times to talk to someone but it's an automated site and I couldn't figure out how to get out of it. I tried calling ***************** but again, just an automated system. I would have paid the bill if I had received one. I tried to get into the patient portal but never could get in. I had excellent credit until this.Review fromRo B

I am waiting on lab results to schedule surgery. I had blood draw performed on 7/30/2024 and was told results should be available in 9 days (7 for test and 2 for transit). Yesterday 8/12/2024 I called because no results yet and was told they will contact lab and call me back by end of day. Today 8/13/2024 I called again because I was not called called and was told results will not be in until 8/23/2024. If you do the math, its pretty obvious they missed the test completely. They didn't offer to expedite or anything just pretty much saying "deal with it". Will start to look for a non Sonora Quest Lab as this is not the 1st time.Review fromJordan S

I am so unhappy with Sonora Quest. According to my doctor's ****** they refused to resubmit my claim which led to me paying close to $2000 worth of surprise billing, a year and a half of headaches, and the delay of an autoimmune diagnosis because I was terrified to seek medical care after this. I was also in the appeal process of this bill and they sent me to collections, which hurt my near perfect credit score. The lack of transparency in the medical companies is absurd and it screws over the consumer. It is ridiculous to place responsibility on the consumer to find if something is covered (which in my case it was supposed to be). Highly displeased. I'll be reaching out to our politicians to make some change. This has happened to way too many of us.

I had to drive 18 miles to a lab for a UA today the address was an old building to say the least I was irritated. I dropped in no appointment at lunch time and Codi at the ****** location was the most pleasant and efficient person I have ever dealt with. I regret asking her to dinner because she was so easy to deal with and helpful. I never write reviews but she stood out so much I felt like she deserved it.Sonora Quest Laboratories LLC
