When the salesperson came to my door, I was very specific with what I was looking for. I have a weeping willow **** in my yard that has been a haven for bag worms and Japanese beetIes for years. i said I would give him a chance to win me over, and the representative said they could handle that no problem . I paid $129 twice for appointments that accomplished nothing as all the leaves are being eaten right now by a thousand beetles . when I called to cancel my service, the lady said I had to pay a $150. After saying I thought it was wrong that after already spending $260 to accomplish nothing , I had to pay then $150 to stop doing more services to accomplish nothing. Her response : " sorry ." The salesperson promised something they couldn't deliver , and got $410 out of me for nothing. ************ , **Ecoshield Pest Solutions

A very nice, young man came to our door with *********** for pest control. He was friendly and said others in our neighborhood (used people's last names) were signing up for EcoShield. He gave us a great discount, too. We signed up for five treatments and paid $149.00 and they did the first treatment for pests within the hour. Took all of fifteen minutes. He told us it would be $149.00 which was a big discount. What wasn't made clear is that it's $149.00 PER TREATMENT. The way it was explained made it sound like all five treatments cost $149. It wasn't until about a week later when we read the entire contract (I know that was on us) and we found out it was $149 per treatment. I called to cancel and they told me I would have to pay $150.00 for cancellation.This is a scam. Pure and simple. A complete scam. Do not contract with EcoShield.Ecoshield Pest Solutions

Do not use this company, their technicians are turning in reports that they are completing the work and drafting the account without doing the work, the technician stayed in his truck and never got down left after 5 minutes, I tried to get a refund and nothing; then next time same thing technician turn in a report that the work was completed and drafting the account again and NOT even showing up to my property. When calling again their customer support were rude waited two days for the manager to call me back and never did, had to call several times and stayed on the phone until I got the confirmation of a cancelled contract and still drafted the cancellation fee, that puts over $300 in the trash. Can't trust them, when demanding a refund they told me that the technician performed the work and they will not be refunding the fees.... very frustrating on how they don't even believe their customers or try to remedy the situation.Ecoshield Pest Solutions

I would give no starts if I could.... Aggressive sales person came out, passed 2 no solicitations signs. I told them no thank you but was not listened to and told that if I signed the contract and was unhappy within 30 days I can cancel without charge. When a woman called to schedule the next round I told her not to do it. I then emailed the business to tell them to close my account within the 30 days and they ignored my email, I never got a response until after the 30 days and it was to yet again schedule my next round of fumigation. I emailed again and said to cancel my account without response AGAIN so I spammed them and told them I would keep spamming until I got a response and only at that time did they respond saying they were sending my info to the closure department where an girl over seas tried to tell me I had a balance of ******. I refused to pay it and she said they wouldn't **** me and she would send it to billing and I again said I would pay NOTHING. I got an email today saying I had ****** balance of $****** so I started spamming again until it gets waived. This business is not to be trusted at all. They are a legit scam. Fun Fact... Been trying to get ahold of a manager for almost a month now to cancel. The product killed our grass. Spent 275 dollars bringing it back to life. 6 neighbors in our subdivision pay 78 dollars a month. But ********** charging less. We still have bugs and didnt notice any difference from first visit. They make it impossible to cancel and no manager. I feel this is extremely discriminatory since our neighbors that are a different race get charged way less. Beware. Lies and deception. DO NOT sign anything without reading contract first. I was explained one thing and the contract said another.You do have 72 hours to retract and you must. I already signed and agreed and did not get a chance to read it before I talked with a cousin who had a bad experience with the same young man I dealt with. She agreed to only one application on behalf of her mother who had a bad ant problem. She did read the contract in time and it was for a year of service with several deductions for payment. She stated that this was not was she agreed to and wanted it cancelled. Called them a couple of times to make sure it was cancelled. It was a little late for me. I called number provided . Asked if was was calling oversees, and asked to talked to someone in the US. I was transferred and I asked about the contract which was not what what was explained to me and pretty much said I signed the contract, I had 72 hrs to cancel, he could not help me, I needed to talk to the main office.Called them back, talked with ***** who was nice and somewhat helpful. I asked questions, she said she was sorry for the miscommunication on behalf of the young salesman and offered me a discount on the second charge out of 5 charges of $169. It was not explained of an initial charge of $169 plus a charge of quarterly charges of $169. Said I was lied to, and that they are using deceptive practices. She agreed to talk to her superiors and get back to me by the end of yesterday because I needed to ask my neighbor behind me if she was signed up . I missed a call just before 5pm. I got call back from ***** this morning. To much wheeling and dealing, trying to get me to say yes and agree to new contract without seeing it. Told her of the lie that a neighbor behind me was signed up when she wasnt. Had to hang up saying she was wasting my time. Told her I would get back to her. Beware of Ecoshield. It is a scam. I signed up with them to treat my property for ants. Their service did not work. When I asked them to cancel my service, they told me I would have to pay them $150 to cancel. When I asked why, they told me I had a 2 year contract with them. I did not agree to those terms. I was told if I was unhappy with their service, I could cancel anytime. The brochure the technician gave me said nothing about a two year agreement. I never saw a contract. The technician I signed up with no longer works for the company. How convenient. I believe this is called fraudulent concealment. It is a crime.
