  I have had nothing but problems with Verdun Windows. Go with another company. It took almost ten months to have my patio doors and windows installed. Every time I called I was given a variety of excuses for delay in installation. The excuses included; the installer had heatstroke, a glazing machine was broken and my windows couldn't been finished (a part had to come from *****) and my windows were ready but they didn't have any installers. When my patio doors were installed the installers had a bowel movement in my toilet and turned the water off. My house was being shown to buyers at the time. It smelt horrible. I was shocked that anyone would do such a thing. I was told different prices depending on who I spoke to and the accounting department could not provide me with a simple receipt of what I had paid. When the windows were installed months later the installers threw garbage in my backyard, splashed cocking on my neighbours car and left my doors wide open when leaving. Awful experience.

There were many challenges this past year which led to delays including the breakdown of the glazing machine which effectively postponed all window production for customers who were booked for installations in July. We apologize that you and hundreds of other customers were affected by this. We expect our installers to provide you with excellent service and to treat your home with respect. If you received anything less than this we did not meet our standards and will remind our coach our crews as to how they should be representing the company while on the jobsite. If there is any work outstanding or anything that needs to be corrected, please notify our office so we can make arrangements for a return to your home.

  To add to my previous comments I would like to provide an update on the work that was done this week. The installers came and installed the windows. They told my husband that they didn't have the trim for the windows so they just weren't going to install the frames. They left debris and mess everywhere along with leaving the garage door and door to the house open. They also got caulking on my neighbor's car. When I called today to make a complaint and ask for either a refund for the frames or the work to be done promptly. I was told everyone was on lunch and I had to wait. Please avoid this company at all cost. It was very expensive and nothing but problems, lies and excuses.

  The windows and door are just beautiful better than I expected. Their professionalism made it easy to have this work done. The installation team, *******************************, were very attentive and installed everything very well, took their time to make sure everything was done perfectly and with hardly no mess left when they were done.   Unlike other customers, I did not have work done by Verdun Windows. I consulted them about replacing broken Window Crank Handles from a different ,company who had gone out of business.I sent a photo to Verdun Windows Wednesday evening and Thursday morning ****** phoned me with the contact info for three local glass (handle) companies. What wonderful service!

  Excellent response time from sales/consultation crew and the installation guys were amazing young men ( we were contracted for 8 months to installation which was not an issue, but they were here in six) One star from five removed * we were billed $231 for a piece of 2x6 to raise two doors * so that's a 2x6x8' (max) * even with February's ridiculous lumber prices that was over the top * especially since they didn't need it for one door .. unfortunately this was something I didn't notice in the contract until later ... read carefully before you sign but the service/installation is full 5 + star . Very satisfied with product after one day * looks great * fantastic installation .. so 5* for it too

  We had a great experience with Verdun, when they installed a window and door last fall, and also with Majed who came to do some adjustments. Verdun stands behind their warranties.
