      Order flooring install with Costco who uses ***************** in ********, *** came to my home over sold and over estimated the amount of flooring required to complete 3 levels of flooring in my townhome ***** ***** recommended carpeting in my high traffic area stated this carpet -polyester carpet would look new for 20+years and would take the high traffic area ie: main stairs and pathways to common areas. I believed her and took her recommendations since I never purchased flooring in the past and since this was a Costco approved installer and flooring company I took her advise, trusting Costco in the past so had no reason not to trust their company at this point. Installation day came and installer loaded up unused carpet back into their truck. *********** installed also downgraded from my original floorboard style so my floorboards are all mismatched, again this was ***** ***** recommendations ***** ***** from Carpet Studio requested I do not call Costco for any of my concerns to call her directly as she stated they do not want any complaints going to Costco because they do not want to loose their contract with Costco After install I never heard from Carpet Studio or ***** ***** again. I left ***** ***** many many voice messages and also Text her, no response I finally contacted Costco and they forwarded my concerns to Carpet Studio. It was like Costco was washing their hands of this contractor and their overall responsibility. I called ***eatedly to Costco and no response to date to file my complaint. Nothing. This is an example of Costco business practices. The customer is left holding the shredded carpet after being scammed thousands of dollars accessing Costco ******************** Dont Use and Dont Trust! Stay Away.

      Ive been a loyal Costco customer for years, but recent changes to their products and pricing practices have been disappointing.1.Product Quality Reduction 30-Pack Eggs:Until recently, Costco sold a 30-pack of large-sized eggs with a protective cover for $8.69. Now, the same product is being sold with medium-sized eggs and no protective cover, yet the price remains unchanged. This is a clear example of product shrinkage that feels unfair to ********************** Online **************************** advertises its online shopping platform heavily, but the prices online are significantly higher than in-store prices. They claim this difference includes delivery costs, yet even when the free delivery threshold is met, the prices remain inflated. This lack of transparency feels like a way to exploit customers who rely on online ***************************** should be more transparent and fair in its pricing and product offerings. I hope they address these issues promptly to maintain customer trust.

      I purchased a laptop (****) at Costco and it caused so many issues (bluescreen, boot up failure, unrecognized operating system etc) within the warranty period. This is intermittent but 100% sure to happen within a few days of normal usage. I filed a claim to concierge and the product was sent to repair center, but it was shipped back to me without any repair with the comment "there is no problem". I couldn't use this for two weeks just for this process. I am sure there is problem but they failed to duplicate the problem since it is intermittent. Since I got it back I had the same problem just within a few days. I asked Conceirge of the possibility of refund but was told that it is not possible unless the repair center admit that it is an unrepairable problem. I don't want to go through this process (sending the product and getting it back without proper repair) over and over because this is my third repetition within past 3 month and for each claim I don't have access to the product at least 2 weeks. I don't understand what is the point of warranty for the product. I have been purchasing most of my laptops from Costco mainly due to the expectation of good warranty and return policy, but now I am reluctant to getting back.

      A senior member of Costco for 7 years writes this review with great anger and humiliation. I was treated and discriminated against in a crazy, rude way at Costco in ******** this afternoon. I will not renew my membership after it expires, and I will never step foot in this store again. Although they have many complaints, they have not dealt with it and do not care about losing a member.When I checked out this afternoon, I told the cashier ****** ** that I wanted to split the bill into two. He asked if the child next to me was a member, and I said no, he was just a student. ****** said that according to Costco policy you cannot split the bill. I told him that one of my bills was for buying things at home, and the other was for purchasing things at my company. He glared at me fiercely, and a male customer with glasses in the queue behind him also helped me tell him that he could split the bill. At the same time, the male customer told me that you can go to another counter to check out. He didn't seem right. ****** said "I'll check you out" and started scanning, and then slammed each item on the counter. When he scanned the membership card for the second time, he pointed the scanner at my face fiercely, and people around him looked at him with strange eyes. After scanning the membership card, he threw it far away. If it wasn't for the edge of the counter, the membership card would have flown farther. I angrily asked him why, but he not only ignored me and took my check without giving me change, but also started to serve the next customer. The female assistant next to him witnessed all his actions and reminded him twice to give me change, and he gave me the change reluctantly. I immediately complained to the manager, and two managers received me one after another. I asked them to check the surveillance to verify the whole process and asked ****** to apologize to me. They said that only he apologized to me, and there was no way to make the person apologize to me?

      I purchased during summer of 2023 Philips 'Hearlink;' Hearing Aids. They don't work very well and very hard to use. Hearing Aids stop working many times and would have use my iphone to turn them back on. Did have one adjustment at Store (September 2023) because of high pitch noise and was not fitting well (hard to insert), however adjustments did not help.. Also they did not help with hearing when I was in a large gatherings of people. Did not use them. Went to store today to try and return them and get a refund. I was told Costco would not refund my purchase and will provide another adjustment. Very dissatisfied with them.

      Horrible ***************** I was gifted a blanket. When I took it out of its packaging there was a hole. Went to Costco to exchange it and they wouldnt give me a new one because I didnt buy the blanket. Staff were also extremely disrespectful and not understanding!!

      I went there today to purchase fuel, and as I was feeling the person behind me, put the nozzle in his tank, started it fuelling and got back in his vehicle. I shook my head because I couldnt believe how dumb someone could be to do that and when we were close to done, I looked over and saw the attendant close by and I said you know you can get a major fine form Being in your vehicle while youre feeling, and he went over and said something to the guy in the truck behind me and the guy in the truck rated me because I as he put it I should mind my own business. Well Id like to live and not have you blow the whole gas station sky high , so be careful when youre gassing up

      Apparently they have delivery options available other than *** (who regularly sign for my deliveries and leave them meters from my house next to a public street, literally on a trash can or in the snow) but you can't choose any of them. They blame this lack of shipping options on their "partner vendors" but yet happily brag about the various options on social media. I'm tired of companies like this doing less and less, treating customers like they don't matter in the name of the bottom line. Rude service people IN store, lousy delivery service. Why shop at there at ALL anymore? DO BETTER before all of your customers leave for better Costco.

      I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the recent experience I had at your Barrhaven store. Unfortunately, the incident has left me deeply disappointed and concerned about the level of service provided.I attempted to use a Costco Digital Shop Card at the Barrhaven store. To my dismay, the card did not work, and what ensued was a series of unfortunate events that highlighted serious shortcomings in your store's operations.1. Non-functional Digital Shop Card: The Costco Digital Shop Card I possessed did not function at the Barrhaven store, rendering my attempt to make a purchase unsuccessful. This raises questions about the reliability of your digital card system.2.Employee Unawareness and Inability to Resolve Issues: Regrettably, the employees on the floor were completely unaware of how to address the situation. Their lack of knowledge and inability to resolve a seemingly straightforward issue is a clear indication of inadequate training.3. Supervisory and Managerial Incompetence: Upon escalating the matter to Supervisor ******* and her manager ******, it became evident that they were clueless about the functionality of a Costco Digital Shop Card. This lack of understanding from supervisory and managerial levels is alarming and reflects poorly on the leadership 4. Insufficient Employee Training: The incident highlights a broader concern regarding the training provided to your employees. It is evident that there is a significant gap in educating staff about the proper usage and troubleshooting of Costco Digital Shop Cards. This lack of knowledge directly impacts customer experience.5. Lack of **************** from ******* and ******: To compound the issue, both ******* and ****** demonstrated a complete lack of customer service. Instead of proactively addressing the problem or finding a solution, they seemed indifferent and uninterested in resolving the issue. This is unacceptable behavior from individuals in leadership positions.
