      I requested to have my daughters resp money transferred over to the bank. All required paperwork were done. I even received a call where they were trying to change my mind. I advised them i need to make the changes and transfer the money. They advised they will. Never happened till date. They gave me the rub around and now im being told by my bank that they refused to transfer the money because my signature doesnt match. I opened my daughters resp almost 4-5 years ago. I dont even remember how i signed back then. I gave my id’s. What more do they need. Its like they making excuses not to transfer my money. Im extremely frustrated.

      I keep being told that my RRSP interest contributions will get transferred to my bank/RRSP within 5 to 10 business days but nothing is being processed. This has been going on since June 21, 2024 I have asked to speak with a manager and was promised a call back, but I never received the expected phone call. I have been calling on a weekly bases and still nothing is moving forward. * **** **** ****** ** **** **** ** *** *** **** ***** ** **** ******* *** *** *** ******* *** ******* *** **** ********* It is now November 15 and I am still waiting for the transfer to be done and again I need to wait 5 to 10 business days. * ** ******* ******** ** **** ******* I thought was great at the time of investment. ***** ****** ******** ****** ** their service is terrible when it's time to pay out!

      Thank you for your response, and hopefully this will get resolved soon. However I do want to inform you that this is the exact response I have been getting from them for the last few months. Last week I was told the process was completed and sent out in the mail but the bank didn't receive the funds due to the ****** **** strike. We'll keep our fingers crossed that this time they are sincere and that it will get processed. Thank you so much for your assistance in this matter. ******* ******

      ****** *********** ********* ***** **** ****** ***** **** ***** **** *********** ** **** Agents incapable of simple communication, and having to wait 24/48 hours for a call back regarding a mistake made by THEM, with NO accountability, I will pulling my savings and transferring to another RESP. I am disappointed and ***** regarding my acocunt after aquiring Knowledge First Financial where I had ZERO issues. 1. Couldnt log into my account. 2. Needed to change my withdrawls, couldnt on line. 3. Was told my payments were stopped until I decide to reactivate, FALSE my funds went through and I had an NSF fee in my bank account. NO option to change anything despite the agent assuring there was. 4. They said we need at least 24/48 hour notice to stop fees. I called 48 hours prior. Which the "agent" verified. 5. *** *** *** BAD communication with agent who didnt know the difference between 24 and 48 hours. 6. After demanding management to call me back, I was told at least 48 hours. (when he said tomorrow) ******* *** ** **** **** ******** After they aquired Knowledge First Financial, I have had nothing but problems. ** *** ** **** **** ******************

      I have been trying for weeks to get the funds I withdrew in early September. Apparently all I get is "There is a system issue and we are trying to resolve it". No timeline is given to when they will resolve this "system issue". We always made our contributions on time and now that we want to use the funds to pay for tuition we cant even get access to them. This company purchased the RESP company I invested with. Unfortunately I have to deal with Embark. I will never recommend them to anyone and frankly, I cant wait to be done with dealing with them. What an organization. There is no method of escalation, and the reps I have been speaking to when I call their 800# seem to not care. ********* ***** ** ** ***** *** ***** ****** * ** ******* ** **** **** *** *** **** ***** *** ******* *** ** *****

      Embark has been profoundly difficult to communicate and work with to withdraw money for my son. Every interaction is met with promises that are unmet, and delay delay delay. Luckily i was able to front the first payment for my son's tuition or we would have missed the deadline. I have since been trying for months to have my two accounts transferred to a more ***** worthy organization, but again Embark has put up ridiculous roadblocks. I will soon be reporting to the regulator and perhaps litigation, i have zero trust left in Embark and definitely do not recommend.

      **** * ******** ******** Paid into my sons resp for 17 years. Now I have to keep jumping through hoops to receive his money. Started the process in August, and it is now October. I have received half our money. More hoops to receive the rest. What a nightmare! No customer service to speak of.

      I submitted a transfer request in July, and it's been almost 60 days, but they are still holding onto the funds. I've tried reaching out via email and phone multiple times, but I haven't received any response to the customer care email, and the customer representatives keep giving me incorrect information. Initially, I was informed that the check would be issued and mailed out on October 4. However, on October 7, I was told that the trade hadn't been initiated, and that the cheque would be mailed out on October 11 or early next week. I find it unusual to have a processing time of more than 8 business days. It seems like Embark is holding onto the funds for as long as possible and providing excuses each time. ***** ******* ***** ******** *********** I'm quite concerned about the company's practices.

      I have had shocking poor service with Embark trying to withdraw funds to pay my daughter's tuition. In the past, when we were serviced by Knowledge First Financial, the transfer would happen within 24 to 48 hours tops. I had submitted a request to withdraw our savings on September 27th. I received an email on Oct 3rd saying my request was completed. Nothing came into my chequing account. Yesterday, I reached out to Embark to see why I haven't not received MY RESP funds yet. Via the online chat, I was told by Pierre that I should see it in 3 to 4 days. I said that this was not acceptable and why was it taking this long. They said it "sometimes happens" when rates change. What does this mean? * **** **** ********* *** ***** ***** ********* ** *** while fortunately, I had some other funds to draw upon to pay the tuition bill, * ** **** ***** ******** ***** ** ****** ********** *** ***** **** ***** ********* *** ***** *********** * ****** ******* ** ****** ** ***** ******** ***** I really regret having my savings held by this company, after contributing for 18 years.

      It is a complete nightmare for transfer requests. My form has been submitted four times, but they keep uploading the same old incorrect document to the system, delaying my transfer. I was told some supervisor would call and update me regarding my case, but they were all ****.
