    Tech-Savvy has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. The supervisor left a voice mail but would not speak with me directly. I was shocked that someone in a management/supervisory position would be so unprofessional. They did a poor job at installation and left silicone all around the cable which looked like a huge blob of silicone. All I wanted was the technician to come and clean it up as it was a very sloppy job. They tried sending me back to Cogeco but Cogeco explained that this company outsource their technicians which they did. The technician who came said he did not work for techsavvy or Cogeco. When I contacted Tech-Savvy a second time after the supervisor left a voice mail refusing to do anything for me, I requested to speak with the supervisor once again, she actually refused to take my call. So not only do they do terrible, sloppy work and outsource inexperienced technicians, their management team is completely unprofessional and they do not stand behind their work. I will also ad that their internet was slow and choppy, not a good experience all the way around. I would not only never recommend this company I would also deter clients from dealing with them. Very unprofessional company.

    Teksavvy left me with 17 days without internet in my apartment. They never called me to continue to follow up with my case and I had to constantly be the one advocating for my issue. It took them 14 days to finally offer to send me a wifi hub that was only 10gb. They never kept the same technician following my case for continuity and were not able to fix my issue after 17 days without internet. I spent around 8 hours ofer those 17 days on the phone with technicians with teksavvy, I wasted my time and they clearly don’t know how to fix and trouble shoot internet problems with their dsl modems. I would warn everyone to go with a better internet provider. Teksavvy doesn’t know how to help their customers and they are a company that is ok with leaving their customers 17 without wifi. Stay away from this company.

    We are terribly sorry to read about your experience. 
    We have reviewed your account and see that before March 4th, the last time you called us was May of 2021 when you signed up. It looks like there were a lot of phone calls this month, and again, we apologize that we were not able to get this issue resolved for you. It looks like the modem was replaced, a technician was dispatched, tech support worked with you, and a HUB was sent, however we were still not able to get you back online. At this time, we see that you have cancelled your service with us, which means that we are not able to dig into this further.

    I have been a Teksavvy customer for more than 15 years. Their customer service used to be fantastic but has been going steadily downhill for the last 5 years or so. I am currently on my third day without reliable service and no answers, which seems to be an issue that has been cropping up once or twice a year for the past few years. I think it's time to start investigating alternate service providers.

    I've had TekSavvy internet in Vancouver for 7 months, and I'm sorry I'm moving out of Canada and can't keep it. The internet and wifi has been very fast and reliable. Their support folks are patient and very helpful. I can only hope for as good a service where I'm going. Definitely recommend.

    I’ve had intermittent internet outages form a couple of years. I’ve upgraded my service and modem, and replaced my modem. The internet still stops working, forcing me to reset my modem and router daily. They have asked for ****** crews to fix the line, but it remains unfixed. ****** has stopped responding to the ticket requests for service. I’ve spent many hours on the phone with their support. Horrible experience. I work from home. I’m work as a therapist at three clinics, virtually. I’ve had to switch to my data plan on my phone to stay connected with clients. IMO, ****** may be phasing out the level of internet that Teksaavy uses, and Teksaavy is reaching its end of life.

    TekSavvy Attempted to reach out to our customer to assist and work with his internet service issues. The customer has been reluctant to work with us and has not been very willing to co-operate. After several attempts the customer has advised there is nothing further TekSavvy can do. We will attempt to resolve the issues they are facing, and we will continue to work with them if they so choose.

    Teksavvy recently submitted a reply to my report saying I'm unwilling to cooperate. That's actually not true. It's been about a year of cooperation, and I continue cooperating. However, Teksavvy is playing dirty. They continue to blame ****** for the problem. And, although ****** has changed my lines and ensured that the internet is going to my house, Teksavvy continues to blame ****** for faulty internet and continues sending ****** requests to send out new crews. ****** has submitted to Teksavvy a number of reports that my lines have been replaced and checked, and Teksavvy seems to ignore the reports. The last Teksavvy person I was emailing with blamed ****** for installing lines with shorts in them. The reality is that neither ****** nor Teksavvy is taking ownership of the problem. The only person to give any help at all is a recent ******* tech that informed me that my new Teksavvy modem is an outdated model and that ******* tech people have been informed to replace them whenever they see them. Teksavvy has no power to help, apparently. They inform me that ****** tells them which modems to sell their customers. So. Tecsavvy is completely unable to help. The only power they have is to send a report to ****** and sell the model of modems that ****** allows them to sell. The only solution they gave was to tell me to go and buy another modem.

    I had hopes. Disappointed. Communication was not clear when ordering but charge was instant then delivery explained would take a week. My service has been down for more than a week and I use internet for work. Imagine yourself in that position. They sent ****** to repair, he showed up an hour early when I wasnt hone yry. He ran a line but turns out it was the modem. I called Tek Savey who were rushing out bee modem which was suppose ti be here yesterday. It hasnt showed up yet but I received an invoice right away from tek savey. Its your choice but I am wushing I could have a provider that doesnt want a contract in my area as this company is not for me.

    Utterly unimpressed with this company. When my building was destroyed by fire ... completely verifiable and all over the news ... they charged me for the modem. I lost most of my possessions in the fire, and was without housing afterwards, and i expected some common decency. I spoke to a couple of supervisors, and got nowhere. They bill themselves as this local business, but they don't really care about people or the community. I'm done with them.

    I called the business to ask them to take one last payment and then I was switching to ******. They have a record of the call but they continued billing my Visa card for over a year. My husband, who looked after the Visa, fell ill and that was when I became aware that Tek Savvy was still billing us. When I contacted them they say that "switching to ******" did not include the word cancelation, so they are happy to cancel the service now but will not be issuing a refund! The company is laughing all the way to the bank. What a rip-off! Since when does the statement that I am switching to another service provider not obviously imply that I wish to discontinue your service? People should be advised that a company can apparently continue automatic billing if you use any words other than cancel or cancelation.

    Thank you for bringing this to our attention.  In reviewing your account you called on May 3, 2021 to say you would be transferring your service to ******.  A transfer of service means that ****** would have contacted us to complete the transfer which would cancel your account with us.  As we never heard from ******, or from yourself, a cancellation was never placed.  

    I hope this clarifies the matter for you.

    Spent over 30 hours over a period of four days trying to get my DSL internet restored after a Tek-Savvy rep claimed that my original 10-year-old modem was kaput! I acquiesced to the reps greater knowledge on the subject and had them send me a new modem, which I had to pay for. That is when the problems started. The new modem was no good, they sent another, it was ****** fault - the lines were bad, it was my router and ethernet cable that were bad, it was the wiring inside my house, and finally it was the wires degrading outside. Which is funny, since a week prior, these "reasons" for my lack of service were null and void as my Internet was just fine. So here's the rub... My little modem apparently breaks down, but the new one they send can't do the same job on the DSL 6mbs plan as the old one. So what do they recommend as the fix? Upgrading of course to the next higher more costly data plan of 24mbs. My ancient 10 year old modem worked fine, until it didn't, but the brand new one (we tested two), can't do the same job. What was Tek Savvy's "technical" solution after more than 30 hours on the phone? Pay more. I'm not a scientist by any means or even a particularly proficient technical person, but this smacks of ***** ****** *** upselling. I even asked the rep if they could do something just to compensate me a little bit for the three days I had to spend on the phone with them, like the $25 connect fee for upselling to the next plan, or credit my account, something, anything really, just to show that as a customer whose been with them for almost a decade that there might be some appreciation for my loyalty. The response was, "No.." And, in addition they couldn't even guarantee that my new network was going to work any better with the 25mbs plan. Their reps are pleasant enough, but their technical solutions are lacking as they're all preprogrammed to eventually say the exact same thing over and over. I'm extremely disappointed after praising them previously.

    AVOID AT ALL COSTS! ******** customers who cancel their services by giving unclear instructions on how to return the hardware via mail, and then charging $160+ when it's not returned in a certain time frame. The only communication I received from them when returning my hardware was from their collections department the day before it was non-refundable, telling me there was no way I could get it to them in time, and that I owed them $ for it. They did not confirm my mailing at the time of cancellation and sent the return label to an address I lived in years ago (not even the address that they were providing service for). I've repeatedly asked for the return address and they refuse to provide it. The useless piece of junk has been sitting at my front door since the day I cancelled service - I want it out of my house, so I guess it's going in the garbage at this point.

    I had to cancel my internet services with them as I often had an extremely weak signal, even after purchasing boosters to use throughout my home. Terrible service when it came to providing sufficient internet, and even worse customer service experience when I had to cancel.
