The service from Window Mart, which our family experienced, was horrible.We was not satisfied with the service at all. We've been going through a tough mental phases for the past few months. I had signed a contract with them in Fall 2022 and a loan agreement (********* ******).I had almost all the windows at my house replaced in Spring 2023. In early Spring 2023, when I asked for a permit from the city for basement renovation I found out that the size of the enlarged windows of the basement on the contract did not match the *************** bylaw. As a result, I emailed Window Mart right after I got the feedback from the city. And they answered that they could not understand "the *************** bylaw" and they suggested they would replace all the windows except for the basement ones. After that all the windows were replaced, except the basement ones and they pressured me to sign "Letter of Completion" even though they made a mistake for installing one of the windows into the wrong position. They promised to re-do it when they work for the basement windows. From that point on, the follow-up service was very unprofessional and completely atrocious. It took so long to get an answer after I sent emails regarding the follow-up service. Because their answers were so delayed, we had traveled to their ******* office several times to appeal the issue. We had several emails back and forth., but they insisted on breaking the city bylaw and advice from the Safety Codes Officer by installing windows that they already manufactured. It's been a several month avoiding our contacts even this morning. As a result of the delay,We got a mail from the government that we are not able to get any rebate for windows, and we even paid for an energy inspection from my own pockets.We got a mail from the financial company that we should pay the loan installment with high interest.We have to pay to get another building permit without any further steps.Review fromWendy B.

On behalf of a 98- year old lady I help out, I am writing to say how angry & dissatisfied I am with the companys contract policy. It appears she was sold on a $2478 door when all she was wanting was a storm door. When I noticed her contract that she had signed on her kitchen table I asked her about it, because I knew her to mention wanting to replace the storm ******** know that should be more like about $800. It seems she misunderstood, as when I explained to her that the company intended to remove the back door and storm door, replacing both with one new door, she answered Thats not what I wanted, I wouldnt have signed for that. When I contacted the salesman 10 days after she signed, he said there was nothing they could do since there is a cancellation policy of 10 days. I was hoping I might get a better answer from the office manager but they wont budge on their policy. I would have thought that considering the clients advanced age and her grasp of things they would be more flexible on their policy. She gave a deposit of $650 and the best Window Mart can do is refund her $50. It looks like a clear case of taking advantage of an elderly lady.Window Mart Inc

Our staff has been in constant communication with **** and we have clarified the details regarding the order and cancellation. Great communication with the agent throughout the process. Windows are very nice. Window Mart went out of their way to help with small details such as making an adapter for our air conditioner without charge. Some communication issues between the planning and installation staff were resolved.Window Mart Inc

We could not be happier with our complete window replacement by Window Mart. From our initial contact with ********************* (sales rep) to the installation, which was completely hassle free and on time, with the installers cleaning after each window -- what can I say? It was a great experience and we love our new windows. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Window Mart to anyone needing new doors, windows, repairs, etc.Window Mart Inc

We have the windows and our front door replaced by Window Mart in **************. ******* taught ** about different window options. After full installation, we are absolutely satisfied with the final product. The house is way quieter now (My house is just behind ************************* GP). Thank you ******* for your good suggestions, and for explaining to ** the differences between double and triple-pane glass. We love our Awnings and especially the new Tilt and Turn in our basement. Installer did all my windows in one day. They are professionals, clean, and even vacuumed the floors after the installation. I will recommend ******* and his installers (****) to all my friends and family. I can not say with words how different my house is with new windows. I have been waiting over a year for a replacement latch for one of my windows with a so called life time warranty. No call backs no information and when I left a message they had the receptionist call me back and all she could say is the part is out of stock. I told her to find a different job. Would never recommend this company to anyone.Window Mart Inc

Salesman out and out lied about install date. Waited over 6 months and would probably still be waiting for a callback if I hadn't threatened to cancel the contract. Then I got a call back the very next day. The same salesman "****** " was extremely rude so I told him to cancel my order. He said I couldn't. He said not only will they keep my deposit of over $3,000 they would take me to court for the balance. I told them I would leave terrible reviews on social media as well at the BBB and he chuckled and said "go right ahead, we are a large company and it won't brother us any". The windows were installed. *************** was defective and I called about it. A sales manager came out the following week after the call. He had a look at it and said he would get back to me by the end of next week. That time came and went, I again called the main office. Was given his cell number and I left him a message to call me back. I never heard from him again. Head office sent me an email the following week telling me they would replace the screen in my garden door with a retractable screen so I could access the lever for the blinds inside the window. The installer came on time and admitted he had never installed one and it sticks in the mechanism and he said they all do that. It is a matter of time and it will rip inside the roller mechanism. I also had him look at the windows because during a cold snap I had over an inch of solid ice inside the windows. He checked them and told me it was normal. If I wanted winter inside my house I would have kept the old windows. Buyer beware. Awful service and terrible products.Review fromColleen B.

Would not recommend this company to anyone. Once paid, they DO NOT honor what they preach about customer **************************** of my edging boards along the bottom of my bay window are a different color and cold air comes in the bottom of the windows by the seal.They also ice up and water runs down my walls. This was an issue before , that is why I ordered new windows. I was told that this would solve the cold air issue with these new sealed windows. Yeh right! They told me an inspector would be out once the windows were installed.Have not seen one as of yet.This company lies and does not have any customer ********************** values.Do not get windows from them.
