Jun 2024 I have been dealing with AWW Renovations for over a year now. I had my windows insalled in 2018 - 2019. The most recent issues, have been a nightmare to recitify. I submitted an online request in May 2023, I received an email shortly after to confirm that I need to pay for the labor of the install. Sure. I then waited until November to follow-up with them. The next day I was called for payment and an appointment was booked for Jan 2024. Installers showed up, they did not have my window nor the crew to install it. He joked because of the location of my window, I should sell the house. He said his manager was meeting him to discuss the replacement. They also noticed another window had a seal that had broke and they were putting a RUSH on this now. Ok, great. An appointment was scheduled a month later, cancelled, rescheduled. During this time, I was told the following: manufacturing issues, none of the installers want to install it due to the location of the window; one of the crew is sick so they cant come 5 days from now. I requested a refund back to my **** which took from March until May to receive because the manager was not in the office and that was because I said I was going to contact BBB about this. The day has arrived, the crew shows up, they will not work until I put my dogs away. They stood outside my house referring to my ********* dogs within the recording of my Ring camera. The installers slid my tree across my vinyl tiles leaving scratches in my floor. The last insult to injury is leaving my window with some sort of residue on it near the top. This is about 10 ft out of cleaning reach. I emailed the company right away. All of this has been recorded through emails, including cc'ing reviews @aww .ca. Install mgr come to discuss after review was posted on **** in June 24 but have not had any contact since then regarding my floor damage. I have emailed a FUP on Nov 25, 24 - no response. All Weather at Home (Edmonton)

the product the company installed rotted in a way that demonstrates inferior quality. approaching the company, my complaint was rejected. save your money, if you expect it to last, they do not stand behind their product. door posts rotted out indicating poor assembly. meaning they did not paint the ends of the door posts on assembly allowing rot to begin. again, if you don't want to pay thousands to do it again. run away....All Weather at Home (Edmonton)

Dear ***, We appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback. We understand that dealing with a door issue can be frustrating, and we want to help clarify the situation.Your door was installed over a decade ago, and while we take great care in building high-quality, durable products, factors like home environment and maintenance play a big role in long-term performance. High humidity levels can contribute to deterioration over time, even in well-built doors. Thats why we recommended a service assessment to better understand the cause and explore potential solutions. We stand behind the craftsmanship of our products, but we also know that every home is different. If youd like to move forward with an inspection, our team is happy to assist. Let us know how youd like to ****************Review fromPia G

We chose AWW bc we had them 27 years ago. Communication was zero, the truck showed up with windows and they wanted to put them in our single car garage, well it was a scramble, warning would have been nice. Two days to install windows and doors, again no communication as to when they were coming, who they were, no names given and they went about the job. After we inspected all the caulking (dap) on 75% of the windows were opened, large crack on one shelf, glue stain, windows were hard to open and close and black grease marks. I called and placed an appointment for someone to come look. At this point I was disappointed and placed another call. Finally ****** showed up 6 weeks later and went above and beyond. He said he was here to fix a crack and when I showed him everything else he was surprised at the work. He fixed everything and found extra that needed his attention. Thank god for ****** thats all I can say. AWW dont lose ****** he was a god send.Review fromMohammad P D

**************** and service departments are not reliable and not up to date about their parts and repair inventory. Couple of weeks before appointment was scheduled on June 24, 2024 basement ****** 2000 window was not closing due to glass frame touching with window frame (*****). Madam Kelsey ***** scheduled for inspection repair and for estimate, order/ quote. As this basement window was provided to builder by ALL WEATHER WINDOWS and DOORS when house was built in 2009.After inspection ****************** declared that this window manufacturer no more making and neither its sashes for glass available. When she knows that they don't have spare and unable to repair or replace its parts. Why she charged $78 inspection fee. As I told her window type and model and year of built. She neither provided inspection report, nor its repair solution. After two week upon inquiry she excuse that she is dealing emergency matters first than ordinary one. If All Weather Windows is not capable to repair old model windows than why they schedule inspections and charging inspection fees. Same work is done by other windows companies without charges and providing replacement quote free of cost. I want my fee reimbursement for nothing done by service department. All Weather at Home (Edmonton)

Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. We have investigated internally, and our customer service team and manager have been involved. We did complete an inspection at a significantly reduced rate even though our warranty clearly states that labour is only covered for a two year period. It was determined that the hardware that sits on the sash was the issue and the 10 year warranty on hardware has passed. Its true that our sash material has changed over the past 15 years, however, this is due to material availability beyond our control and is not the primary factor in this circumstance. We have offered a copy of the inspection report to Mr. **** We hope this information helps.Best regards.Review fromLeanne W

I feel sick after reading these reviews. We spent over $20000 upgrading our windows with AWW recently and had so many issues, from wrong measurements, damaged windows and poor application of trims. I reached out to the company and they said they would pass on the information to the installation manager but we havent heard anything for over a month. Ugh!All Weather at Home (Edmonton)

We had some windows installed at our house and chose All Weather Windows over many other companies because quite honestly they had better brand recognition and we thought they would be more reliable because they have been around for as long as I can remember. We couldn't have been more wrong and seriously regret not doing more research. The quoting, measuring and ordering of the windows was a great experience, but the waiting, the installation and the absolute lack of follow up by customer service has been just awful. First the windows were installed over 3 separate appointments by 3 different installers (none of which were the person who came out to do the measurements) over a period of about 7 months. Then over the winter we discovered one of our large windows was not sealed properly and we experienced some major condensation which ended up doing damage to the room below the window in our basement. All Weather Windows sent out the original installer to fix the poor seal but we had to hire another company to fix the damage in our basement ($1500.00). Then the next winter we experienced condensation in the second window and again they sent them back out to reseal that one.I have been in contact with the ******** Service Supervisor to discuss compensation for our poor experience and the damage we have incurred. In May of 2023 I was told that the details were under review and I would hear back soon. Unfortunately I have not heard back from them since then and have sent multiple emails inquiring about the status our review but have not received any reply back from All Weather Windows. So not only did we experience a drawn out and terrible installation experience but with no follow up we also feel like we have been forgotten about and ignored by ******** Service altogether. I would absolutely not recommend anyone to do any type of major renovation project through All Weather Windows based on our experience and lack of follow up.All Weather at Home (Edmonton)

Our experience started off good with Gord, but it went downhill after that. Our first date booked for the install was cancelled due to the contractor leaving town. It was a huge inconvenience for us because we had to book time off work to be there for the install and for some reason companies think that no one works and your available any time?? We ended up going with a different contractor who could complete it the follow week, but once again I had to book time off work. After this date was set, there was ZERO communication with the contactor or the company. No one called us to explain how we needed to prep for the appointment, and no one told us what time they were coming. One random day before someone says they are at my house to deliver the window, which was odd because the contractor told us he would be bringing it with him? I was at work, and I could not come home to receive the window. The contractor calls me shortly before he comes, so we were waiting around for hours because they never gave us a time frame. He waits until the very end when I have to pay of course to tell me the window is cracked, and they damaged two of the handles for the window and the window frame on the inside was cracked. He takes ZERO responsibility for the damage! He said it may have been delivered cracked or it may have happened when we installed it. I inspected it and it was not delivered cracked. Now the fun begins, trying to communicate with this company was painful we left several messages about booking times to have it fixed with no call backs. They booked a time in January during the cold snap, and no one called us to tell us it was cancelled; we had to call and ask. Once again time we booked off work for nothing. So, we rebook again and they deliver a broke window to us, so once again time off work and it was not fixed. Called a few times to rebook and it took days to get a call back. I asked to speak to a manager, I have received no call yet.All Weather at Home (Edmonton)

They changed out garden door inserts once because o f blinds freezing up. Within 2year there is interior failure in 4 of the inserts. We were told there is only 1 year warranty and were offered no real deal on replacements.it was like the ********* store did not careAll Weather at Home (Edmonton)

Very poor service and a warranty with so many loopholes it is pointless. Melted top jamb extension on a southwest facing window is not covered by warranty due to our "room darkening" blinds. They are too busy to repair, but sent a former employee to do an estimate....never heard back. So now we have ordered the jamb to repair ourselves. Told it would be in on Friday....of which month I might ask!Beware! Horrible service. All Weather at Home (Edmonton)

Good afternoon,All Weather Windows warranty is one of the best in the industry and comprehensive. Unfortunately, we are not able to cover damage to our product created by the environment that they are subjected to.We have worked with this customer to assist them and offered multiple solutions. We have provided the part that he will be replacing at no cost, and customer has picked it up from our service department.Best regards,
