  I have been a loyal H&R Block customer for over 13 years. After moving to ***********, I decided to switch to a closer location, and I deeply regret that decision. My experience with this branch has been nothing short of frustrating, with a complete lack of customer service and organizational chaos.I filed my taxes over a month ago, but when I checked online a week later, it showed that my return had not been filed. I immediately contacted the office, but they had no explanation and told me they would open a case. Over the past month, I have been repeatedly assuredat least 15 timesthat I would receive a call back, yet no one ever follows up. I even visited the office in person and witnessed the receptionist picking up the phone and immediately hanging up on customers just to stop it from ringing.Yesterday, I was once again told that my return had been refiled, only to wake up this morning and find that it still has not been processed. Now, the office will not return my calls at all. Additionally, I was charged for the premium service despite having a basic return, and no one can explain why. The manager vaguely mentioned issuing a refund but admitted he doesnt know how to process one.This has been the worst customer service experience I have ever encountered. I am filing this complaint to formally document my concerns and seek resolution. I will not be returning to H&R Block and hope that appropriate action is taken to address these issues.

  TERRIBLE ! they have now completely removed the file for free option despite every other company in existence having it. This company needs a lobotomy if they honestly believe filing with them is worth the $100+ they are trying to manipulate out of customers who are filing their own taxes without any assistance.H&R block is the only tax filing company I have used since turning 18 (15 years ago) and after seeing that garbage switch today, there is absolutely no hesitation in me to switch companies.Good riddance!!!

  Less than one star. I have been waiting for 2 weeks for a "tax expert" to file my taxes. it is the most simple return possible, and I have foolishly chosen this company to represent me in filing taxes this year. Never again. I have used H&R Block for US taxes, expat taxes, and Canadian personal returns, they have been given lots of business in the past, however, this is unacceptable. It's like pulling teeth to get a response from them, and to top it off, they "aren't sure" where they are in the process of completing a return for ****** **** *** *** **** ***** *******

  Living in a nightmare, H and R block messed up my taxes so bad that 2 days before Xmas I get a $4,000 plus notice from revenue Canada notifing me that a T4 wasnt entered in the system and when I reached out to the branch they said I didnt give it to them was their excuse. The clerk was notified of all three. She forgot to enter the third one so as far as Im concerned she didnt do the job I paid her to do. Will never use or recommend them ever

  We are having very good experience with ***** *** in H&R Block in ********. We are using this location for 2 years and we couldn't choose better person for our issues with Taxes. Thank you *****.

  I am a first time home buyer. They told me I don't qualify for the benefit. They were wrong. They read the rules wrong. Now I'm having problems with CRA recieving the change if information. The tax assessor us away now. I've been in that place ten times for my 2023 tax return. And going in again today. I'm a veteran.

  0 Stars!H&R Block doesn't have anywhere to fine a complaint or to help you if one of their "tax professionals" makes huge mistakes in your filing and then won't return calls or email you back. This is the most unprofessional and incompetent company I have ever dealt with regarding something as serious as your taxes. I used JH&R block for years, when I moved out of country I was told "we can still do your taxes, just come to Canada and we will file for you".... BIG MISTAKE! They claim to be able to do your taxes cross border and believe me, they cannot and then when you're back in your country of residence, you cannot even call H&R Block for am help to resolve the issues they created. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, spend a little more and have a CPA do it.

  Not confident that my filing was correct. I just received a notice from *** regarding my GST (see below) and sent a message online and did not hear back. Today I called and was on hold for 1/2 an hour and nobody answered the phone. I thought I paid for expertise, but clearly did not get it. What am I supposed to do now? I used to have an Account file my taxes, I think I would rather pay more to get it done correctly. This is terrible service. The *** cannot calculate the amount you may be entitled to receive for all periods because the necessary information has not been received. If you provide the information requested in the Explanation section, it will be processed and you will be notified if you are entitled.
