Joe our installation technician was on time and discussed the installation process. He asked where I would like the system installed and proceeded with the installation. He did a great job and it was complete within a few hours. After installation Joe went over the system with me and made sure I knew everything I needed to know to ensure the system was functioning correctly in the future. I highly recommend SWAT Environment for your radon mitigation system.

Had an appointment between 12-5. Ed called at 9 asking me to let him in the house. I said no I’m at work. He drove to my house and called again saying he saw a car there and could he knock or get in using the lock box. I said no because my 80 year old mother was in there not feeling well. I told him I’d be home at noon and to please stop asking to get into my house because it was causing stress. He cancelled my appointment. I rescheduled but because I complained about Ed. Dominic the supervisor cancelled that appointment. No apology for the inconvenience or Ed’s harassment.. Dominic also said he called and left a message. He did not leave a message and called with no ID which is why I didn’t answer. I gave them one star because Karen the scheduler was helpful. I’ve never had this kind of experience in my life. This was not a system we installed, and you had a real estate closing you were trying to meet a deadline for. Our technician became available earlier than originally planned and unfortunately that didn't work for you. Our technician was not trying to harass but rather get your issue resolved as quickly as possible for you. Sorry it didn't work out.Katrina C

You are not sorry it didnt work out. If you were you would have apologized for cancelling my appointment because I couldnt leave my job to let ** in the house earlier than scheduled. No apologies then or when the manager called. You all are the worst. Luckily I contacted another company Reliable Radon. They made the same appointment time and communicated in a professional and customer friendly way. They came as scheduled and within an hour the job was done. Their prices were cheaper also. Your company is more concerned about the convenience of your technician rather than the convenience of the customer. Knowing I was trying to meet a deadline why would you cancel my original appointment because the technician was available earlier and I said no? Bad business.Review fromRhonda R

We have recently used SWAT Radon Mitigation to install a new Radon mitigation system, we are very happy with the services they provided. Both the customer sales person Ken and the installation technician Chris are very knowledgeable, patient, as well as very professional in explaining the Radon mitigation services the company provides, and our questions regarding the installation process and the radon mitigation level and system warrantees after system installation. Overall, we are very glad with the services it have provided and highly recommend to others to use their service.SWAT Environmental

Was displeased! The radon system, especially the pvc pipe, was installed incorrectly. It was a massive headache to get them to come back out to fix the issue. One of their customer representatives ghosted me after I kept calling to get someone to come back out to fix the issue. I had to threaten them by saying Id call my credit card company to report this bill and call it fraudulent. After that finally someone was sent out to my house to fix the problem. What a headache!!SWAT Environmental

The gentleman who placed the radon mitigation system, was very prompt and courteous, and got down to the chore right away. He completed everything in a timely manner. I was only disappointed to hear that I still had to hire an electrician to bring power to the fan, which I did not expect from my conversation with the person I set up the appointment with on the phone. That wouldve been better received. Had it not been a surprise at the day of installation.SWAT Environmental

SWAT installed my radon mitigation in March. Initially it seamed to go well but things changed. I noticed that the water level was too high and the fan was struggling to draw air from the drain tile. I called and they promptly sent out a technician. The technician was prompt and polite but didn’t really seam to know how to change the float height to lower the water level. He called another technician and was able to lower the float. Unfortunately he lowered it too low and it was not shutting off fast enough and was drawing air. This burned out my pump within a couple weeks. After being out for the day my wife went to check something in our basement and notice that water was pooling at the bottom of the stairs. We found that the sump basket was full and water was seeping in around the basement walls. Luckily we were able to save valuable items but there was some water damage to carpet and some boxes. We had to call emergency service to install a new pump and were up till nearly 1am sucking up water. After talking to a couple people at SWAT I was told they would see what they could do to reimburse some of the cost of the pump. I was told a manager would get back to me soon. No one ever called even after I repeatedly called to ask for an update. I have given them weeks to get back to me and at least discuss a resolution and nothing. So if you go with SWAT, hope you don’t have a problem because they apparently don’t take responsibility for their mistakes.SWAT Environmental

Orlando did a fine job installing our Radon System. He was polite and answered all our questions. Only problem I have is that I have to find a Carpenter to finish the install since he installed it and I have a custom Lid covering the sump pump.SWAT Environmental
