I was looking for health insurance and inputted my info to receive quote. The calls and texts I have received over 2 days has been so excessive I had to turn my phone off. I was provided their website ******************* but this did not provide a solution. Please stop the calls and texts immediately. As soon as I entered my information a flood of calls began. I simply wanted quick quotes online specifically because I wanted to avoid phone calls. They come from spoofed phone numbers that are meant to **********, but are not. Many of the calls are listed as potential scam. The implication on the site is that I could compare quotes there, not talk to a flood of callers.Business Response

I want that collection eliminated and an apology for misleading me from their sales person. This is a very scummy way of doing business. I have started to receive tremendous amount of phone calls from quote wizard in august september 2022. Then later in 2023, I learned that my ex is claiming that I request those quotes so that I can get information about her. I contacted quote wizard and they ignore my request about investigating who made those request on august 2022 using my phone number. Also, the information given to insurance companies were misspelled. 3/13/2024 Consumer called about the request and to inquire on who made the request and when was the request made.
On 03/19/2024, the QuoteWizard team spoke to the consumer and reviewed previous leads (please see below) with the consumer, from 2018 to 2024 and was able to resolve the issues with the consumer.
The following past leads were received:
09/08/2018 We received a lead matching the phone number provided in the BBB complaint *************). However, the name and address did not match the consumers name and address provided in the BBB complaint. The lead was for an auto quote.
10/03/2019 We received a lead matching the name (************)and phone number *************) as provided in the consumers BBB complaint. However,the address did not match the address in the BBB complaint (****************************************** EE1, *******, ** *****). The lead was for an auto quote.
08/16/2022: Received an auto quote lead. The name and address differ from the information provided in the BBB complaint. Only the phone number referenced above matches the BBB consumer complaint.

When I was searching for car insurance,wizard contacted me I first spent 2 1/2 hours on the phone with a licensed agent in ****. I thought I had given all my information regarding Car home loan numbers all of that.Yesterday I received a letter stating that they are canceling my insurance because I did not provide information. One person told me that they had sent me information asking me about my daughters insurance. I had provided all that information when I spoke to the representative initially in December. Also, I received an email as I had inquired about insurance rate deduction if my cars were low mileage, I was told that that was not something that they did yet. I have received an email asking for information now Im not sure if that is the reason they have canceled my car insurance. I have been paying my car insurance on time as it is on auto pay. Also, with my homeowners insurance, the agent put in some weird address no clue where it came from not the address I had provided, and therefore my mortgage company was also trying to get a hold of me because they were showing a lapse and insurance. I contacted them to find out and also after I check the app found out that the payment hadnt been made. as I contacted my mortgage insurance, I gave him all the information of Safeco, which is who I ended up being insured with and they are now sending out the payment to them.I have I had spoken to a representative probably back in January and had asked her about my insurance as I had requested for that to be done, and I was told that it would get done never received a call back. I tried calling the gentleman that was supposed to be my agent. And nothing. When I contact Safeco, which is the insurance, I ended up with they will not help me as they are stating that I have to deal with quotewizard as they are the agent that is servicing my insurance. QuoteWizard has investigated the matter addressed in the BBB complaint, and our records indicated on 12/15/2023,consumer came through a QuotWizard form for an auto and home quote. The QuoteWizard team reached out to consumer, currently, all pending issues on the consumers policy have been addressed. And both auto and home polices are in active status.
The following timeline confirms communication between the QuoteWizard team and consumer (policyholder):12/15/2023 Initial bound call for home and auto policy
12/18/2023 Outbound call responding to consumers (policyholder) voicemail for updated auto coverage and other matters related to updated coverage on two vehicles.
12/20/2023 Left a voicemail message to consumer (policyholder), no return call from consumer.
1/11/2024 Outbound email from QuoteWizard, requesting proof of low mileage.
2/5/2024 Email sent from QuoteWizard customer service,pending cancellation for failure to provide proof of additional discovered driver.
2/18/2024 2/19/2024 (Presidents Day) Business was closed on Sunday and on Monday in observance of Presidents Day. Consumer (Policyholder)sent three emails, made 21 phone calls, and 26 texts. Consumer sent the requested low mileage documentation and proof of insurance for 2nd driver.
2/20/2024 QuoteWizard - customer service department contacted Safeco to correct the mortgagee clause on the home policy and extend payment date to 3/1/2024. And a request was made to the mortgagee for payment to be issued immediately so policy does not cancel prior to payment.As reiterated above, QuoteWizard spoke to the consumer on 2/20/2024 after receiving the BBB complaint. The matter has been resolved; both auto and home policy are in active status. We apologize for any inconvenience our services may have caused.
